Snow and Steady!
The Snow Days Challenge has begun in Webkinz Next. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you complete the challenge. Remember, it is only available until January 14.
Please note that in order for the Snow Days Challenge icon to appear, players must first complete the Welcome to Kinzville Checklist and click the “Redeem Awards” button to collect their prizes. If you do not click “Redeem Awards” you will not see the Snow Days Challenge.
Once the challenge becomes available, click the Challenge icon on the left-hand side of the screen and select the Snow Days Challenge.
Here’s a closer look at all four tasks.
1. Collect a Snow Day Cookie from Sophie in the Showroom 5 times
Visit Sophie in the Showroom and click the cookie floating above her head. You can only collect one cookie per day, so be sure to start early to complete this task by January 14.
Head to the Arcade to get started on your Polar Plunge task. This game can be tricky, so take your time and stay positive. Use the back arrow to slow your sled down so you do not miss a jump.
3. Craft a Purple Scarf on the Pretty Patterns Sewing Machine 3 times
The Pretty Patterns Sewing Machine can be purchased from the WShop under the Interactive tab.
Place the Sewing Machine in your room and click on it to view your recipes. The Purple Scarf recipe requires 10 Spools of Thread and 8 Balls of Yarn.
If you do not have these materials, you can collect Material Pick Boxes from the vending machine beside the Curio Shop.
4. Click the Neon Snowflake 25 times
Visit Kinzville and keep an eye out for the Neon Snowflake. When it appears, click on it to collect a prize. You can click the Snowflake up to five times per day.
When you find it, be sure to announce it in the Type Chat to let your friends know.
Remember, the Snow Days Challenge is only available until January 14. A brand-new Season begins on January 15, so enjoy this super chill challenge and then come back to join us for all the new Season.

What’s up with Next today? I have been trying to fill my pet’s hearts and collect snowflakes for hours, but I keep getting kicked out, or the blue “loading scene” screen freezes ALL THE TIME. I have tried to log out (close the window) and back in several times, but it keeps happening. Anybody else having the same problem? I really need to do something else at some point today.
I don’t recall any check list popping up. I should finish today.
The checklist is something for new accounts to complete before they receive their challenges. If you have an older account, you may have seen a slightly different set of challenges.
I collected my last cookie today and used 6 diamonds to finish the snowflake portion – it was worth it. The Snow Fort is a great prize!
Thanks for letting us know. I have honestly thought of skipping it since the snowflakes seem impossible to find and so many are required.
I was spending way, way too much time finding the snowflakes and the Wacky Challenge is starting tomorrow on Classic. So after I collected the last cookie I just decided to give myself a break and finish the Snow Days challenge.
It’s a different game. Interesting and challenging. The snowflake has a mind of it’s own. It flies, stops, we chase it and if your lucky you can click on it. One big challenge is with other pets chasing it you try to click on the flake and it brings up info on the pets around you. Then the flake has snuck out and flew somewhere else. One big suggestion collect ALL the free stuff everyday. The cookies, cappacieno, gems, mushroom gifts. Then you have them when a challenge comes up. Also you can sell them. If it’s FREE go for it. It can’t hurt. Thanks Ganz tech team for all you do. Yep there are glitches. But that’s technology for you.
I’m not enjoying this “super chill challenge” because that neon snowflake is too time consuming to find!
I just finished the challenge. Not a big fan. I found it easiest for me, to catch the snowflakes at midnight. I would find one, then go to the arcade and play 2-3 short games. Then I would go back to check for another snowflake. It would take about an hour, but I would manage to find the limit of 5 per day that way. Don’t worry about telling others where the snowflake is, they will see a rush a pets heading in the direction of the snowflake.
I haven’t been able to collect any snowflakes since the challenge started. I am still trying, though, and working on the other tasks in the meantime. I hope I see one soon!
Something I don’t like about the snowflake, it seems to be able to be pushed around by players. This makes it hard to get close enough to click on, and it also means it can get pushed into doorways making you enter the building when you’re trying to interact with it. Just some issues I’ve had!
I have the impression that the snowflake is running / floating away from me. I can click on it several times, and it always goes one step away, until I finally get it.
The hardest thing in this challenge is the snowflakes at least for me. When I find it. I go to the middle and tell the others. But it seems like when you find the snowflake it stays only for 30 seconds. And people end up missing it if they not get there in time. I have had pets tell me where the snowflake but many times it’s gone by the time we get there. I do really appreciate you trying to help us. Thank you for all you do to try and keep Webkinz fun and entertaining.
Snowflake moves around, not disappear soon, take some tours and U will find it again. If U want to collect quick your 5 snowflakes log out after U get it and log in immediately, move around Kinzville and U will find it again, U can collect all 5 of them in not such a long amount of time.
