I wasn’t able to get my SUPER WHEEL spin to work today. It just flashed on and off quickly and wouldn’t let me spin even after logging off. Did anyone else have any problems????? I never did get to spin, so no prize for me. Oh well :( :( :(

Yeah, no, I don’t do sunshine. I won’t enjoy outdoors til the weather is decent (read COLD) again. Also, I was kinda excited about today in Webkinz world …til I remembered (guess I’d blocked the trauma) that it means all day activities until into September. sigh. Sleep is for the weak, right?
This is off topic but why does Mayor Quack hoo-hoo like an owl in his posts instead of quack-quacking like a duck? Sorry, I just have to know!!

Its like his version of “howdy doody” or “hi” and he’s a duck with humanoid speech so he’s not limited to just quacking. That’s what I think. :)

Maybe he was raised by owls. It’s not like we know his backstory. I mean, it’s “hoo-hoo” he says, not “who-whoo” so clearly his accent is a little off. (And okay, yes, I am sitting here having too much fun with this idea of Dr Quack having been raised by owls…)
Dr. Quack had a delightful Scottish accent and I think his Hoohoo had something to do with that. I miss hearing that old bird talk. Maybe he could join a future Podkinz? :-)
Actually, every time I read Mayor Dr. Quack’s greeting, I can’t help but think of the owner of Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna from the movie “Frozen”, and it always makes me smile! (hoo-hoo. Big summer blow-out.) XD

Haha, I love the way he ‘Hoo hoo’s'! I never thought of it the way an owl does though, that’s funny. I really like it though, it sounds like something I would imagine him saying. I love characterization.

Thankfully I was able to get it from logging into the mobile app, but unfortunately, I can’t spin the super wheel since I have no access to a computer (I’m on a vacation currently and the place I’m at doesn’t have one) XP Oh well… nothing you can do about that.
