Not old enough to have a social media account? That’s OK! WebkinzNewz.com is a safe place for Webkinz players of all ages to participate, and Social Superstars will be selected from among commenters and ShareCenter participants, too.

Yep, GANZ has a moderation team, I think. Heheh, I had a similar situation. One of the many reasons I don’t have accounts on anything but Webkinz and GanzWorld. :P
yes. the pictures are checked before Ganz lets them in the Sharecenter.
I think that with all of Ganz’s filters on webkinz and checking comments and such, they would most definitely check pics before they went up on the share center.

Okay, so I have a question. If you are semi-active on YouTube or other social media, how do you get that linked to your GanzWorld or Webkinz account?
Unfortunately you can’t officially link it, because Webkinz Newz has rules about linking to outside sites.

Awesome! I’ve got a question about this though, is it based on how many helpful posts they post? I think its so cool Ganz is doing this. Later in the future I hope they have something for people who make webkinz crafts! wouldn’t that be cool? :D
I’m not exactly sure. Maybe it is or maybe it is just randomly selected from anyone thats a member (besides the other things like Youtube and that)
Hi, rainelda! I think that when you reply to someone’s comment with helpful information and the other things that are listed above, I don’t think it’s really based on how many you do. It’s just that when they say that you’re in the running to get the prizes, you’re username is probably chosen at random out of those people who were in the running. But that is just my thought. The team probably has some other method though. Good luck to you and everyone else!
But maybe the team picks someone! Not chooses someone at random! It would probably be very disappointing to Webkinz fans if the players were chosen at random because there are A TON of Webkinz fans. It will probably based on the amount of comments.

I think that if you follow webkinz on a social media site, or you comment on webkinz news and things like that, then you are put in a draw to win the stuff above. For age, I think you just have to be old enough to have a social media site. Hope this helped.

I think this is a wonderful idea and a great way to help kids to want to be a little bit kinder in today’s world. The world today can be scary for younger kids… and sometimes, they just need a self esteem booster. I think this will help many kids and make them grow habits of being nicer… theses habits could grow and then help them to be nice people later on in life!

Wow, very nice! I would be infinitely surprised if I was picked. :P I do have drawings in the Share Center, although I haven’t uploaded in a while (I iz lazy). I’m going to be uploading my Easter Picture WELL after Easter…. Oh well. Sorry people. I’d like a KinzTube, but I doubt my videos would be very good. I could only get a free editor if any, and I couldn’t use iMovie, cuz I don’t have an iPad or iPhone or any of that stuff. Maybe this is weird, but I already thought about a few videos I could do. I doubt they’d be as good as they are in my head, though. I’m also somewhat interested in “Kinztagram”, but I’d need to look around quite a bit for the perfect scenery (because I think I’m sort of a perfectionist when it comes to my pictures and art). But say you pick someone on KinzTube, I guess they’d have to tell GANZ what their username in Webkinz World is to get the prize, right? I dunno, I guess I don’t have to worry about that, anyway. Although I think I’d like to. And I honestly still don’t know what Tumblr is.

I hope they post maybe like a “background” or something on whoever gets picked, you know, so people know what they’ve done. That way, they can show Orion and Shadow if you get picked! They’d be like, “These are Pokekinz’s majestic characters. They are so majestic and you should give Shadow a hug, because he totally loves those.” That’d be cool. I can’t wait to find out who wins! (I hope it’s you or MidnightQueen! Or princejackson, but she’s gone, sadly. Hopefully that doesn’t stop them from at least considering her, since she was so nice all the time.)
Hahah, thanks Fracktail! You’d be a fantabulous pick too, of course! Your characters have got to be at least as good as mine, and I really like your art (and so do a ton o’ people)! Plus, you’re way less lazy about drawing than I am. :P I hope they consider quirkiness as a factor, cuz me thinks I’m pretty good at that. But I really super want to make Webkinz Videos, even if the editing would be kind of a pain, and I probably wouldn’t be very good at it since I probably couldn’t even come up with a script, because I’m a gajillion times better at writing when it’s a collaboration, and when there’s not really a point or purpose to the story. :P No wait, the purpose is FUN. Yep, that was my design. I’m glad you liked it! I never really thought I’d win, though, cuz it was based on a specific place, but that’s what I felt like doing. The Top Ten’s good enough for this Pocket Monster Geek. (^-^)v I do go to the park quite a bit, and I’m usually either Shadow or Orion (my friends call me “Onion” when I’m using him). To help discern Shadow from the fifty-umptillion other Shadows out there, he’s a Black Wolf (although that doesn’t narrow it down much), and he’s pretty much always wearing his Ninja Outfit, Red in the Park, and Red or Black otherwise.
Oh cool! Hope to see you in the park sometime! As for the pet I go as, it always changes. You’ll know it’s me if they call themselves Fox Ye. ‘Cause that is what my Webkinz friends call me. ;)

Hey, Pokekinz! Sorry for my egregiously late reply. Anyhoo, thanks so much! I really hope you or me or any of our friends wins one. I’ve always wanted to make a Webkinz animation, preferably starring Goober or Nafaria! Y’know, Nafaria’s really grown on me. I like the idea of a somewhat bratty grouch who’s secretly a decent gal. I think Alyssa would definitely try to bring out the latter part of her, much to Safari’s chagrin. :P I personally think Orion is more majestic on account of his rad dancing skills and also being king. And the blueberries! Can’t forget those. Of course, Chipadea and Helix will always be the most elegant and majestic creatures to grace Webkinz World. :P At any rate, good luck in the Social Superstars thing! Not that you’d need it, anyways. You’ve got friendliness and originality to spare! Now for a clever signature: keep…on…truckin’? Yeah, I need to work on my good-bye catchphrase.
That’s okay, it’s not that late, I don’t think I’d go so far as to say it’s egregious. I think you should win the first one, on account of…. Uh….. I dunno. I just think you should. But I unfortunately won’t be able to check this Saturday, so if I do win, I’d have to celebrate late, which would be kinda weird, I think. Okie, another note I’m moving onto now: I actually really, really wish I could do animation with my Webkinz. It’s mostly star my Webkinz, maybe I’d occasionally have the hosts in there, though. It’s just cuz I have my Webkinz walk like the actual animals do, and the Hosts generally don’t. When I imagine Nafaria, she’s usually in anime form (cuz I’m obsessed), and she’s got a bit more malice to her. I also added a few more layers to her back-story, which may or may not have been an improvement. And, on yet another note, thanks for the compliments! I think my originality is mostly my weirdness. :P It seems strange, none of Orion’s royal subjects seem to recognize him. Maybe he needs a crown….. And a magical scepter with the power to warp dimensions. Yes, THEN he would be the most kingliest of all kings!! (P.S: My goodbye catchphrase was clever?! \(*▽*)/~?!)

Well, they might give it out like how they do with the pet of the month contests, where if you win they email the code to you and you type it in on Webkinz to redeem your prize. I don’t know for sure but I think most of these sharing sites link your account with an email so if GANZ could find your email they could send the code.

It is absolutely Awesome, that Webkinz has thought of everyone through this because lots of us including myself (9delicious12) and (2diamonds12), don’t have any social media accounts of any kind. All we have is our Wenkinz and Webkinz Newz. Hopefully any and all of the gentle and kind webkinz’es will win this. It’s awesome to do this because maybe it will encourage more people to become kinder, gentler, nicer, and considerate to each other through both Webkinz Avenues and hopefully it will take root, sprout & grow in everyones lives and carry on through out they’re lives ; just maybe – we can make the world a better place for it.
