From September 15 to 30 visit the Leaf Pile in Kinzville and click on it to collect leaves and earn stunning autumn-themed prizes. You can collect 1 leaf a day and also ask up to 4 friends a day to send you leaves.
This year the prizes include an Autumn Tree Globe, Autumn Rug, Autumn Bench, and Autumn Bookshelf, as well as the beautiful grand prize, an Autumn Swing!

Hello Ganz team! I just wanted to share that since this most recent update, I am experiencing a lot of lag. Particularly in my WW home in Next when I am trying to use the change room feature. It’s taking so long for the map to pop up and let me select a new room, that I am actually failing at pet requests (when they request a certain item of clothing that is stored in a different room, or I need to get to my baby room to fill the baby request, etc.) I am hoping this can be fixed soon so I can start filling pet care hearts again. If it’s just me, please let me know what I can do on my end to fix it. Thanks!
They are looking into this — larger accounts seem to be experiencing more lag
That tracks with what I am seeing. My side accounts are not as affected. Just one of the drawbacks of rapid population growth. LOL!
While they are at it Sally can they look into why we are allowed 500 growing items but the game can’t handle it? I found out that was why, when I logged in and got to my room, it would take up to FIVE minutes + for the season to load, the award to award and my pets to do as I asked (not that they do that well, that’s another huge issue with this game – their movement is way to janky).

I have a huge complaint about the new daily Alyssa Mushroom Challenge. At 8am kinztime I collected my 10 mushrooms and turned them in only to be told to come back in 16 HOURS to collect my prize. THAT’S MIDNIGHT!!! I’m in bed asleep for goodness sake. I’m an adult and I can’t imagine a child adhering to these outrageous requirements just to collect a small prize. I am getting increasingly frustrated jumping through hoops to get a prize. The prize should be awarded after immediately after you take the time to find all 10 mushrooms.
You don’t have to collect it at midnight. That is just the earliest time that you can collect it. It will not disappear.
Sally, we know we don’t have to collect in midnight. I even been telling u before. It has a glitch. It used to let use ask friends 24 hours . Now we have to wait no matter what the next time it hits midnight our time. You are 3 hours ahead of us. Our 9pm is your 12 am. Most of us start our daily at 9 pm our time. Candy cane collection also we have to Waite. Peeps at your time are mostly asleep at our 9 pm . Why the change? Instead of waiting 24 hours to ask again, we Waite 27 and over ours to ask friends again!! Hope I explained it correctly. Ty
You’re talking about the leaf collection, while I was responding to a question about Alyssa’s Mushroom Run. All of the resets happen at midnight KinzTime, regardless of your timezone, and if you tend to stay logged in over that time, it can sometimes not reset correctly. Your best bet is to wait until after the midnight reset or make sure you log out after midnight and back in.
OH BOY AM I LIVID right now – why is it something gets changed and another is broken??? Just went fishing – yup, of ALL days for this to be broken – caught a fish, only my family catch shows up – okay, no prob if they have lessened the process. Caught a second fish, only the family catch shows up – all common, sick of seeing them fish. Go to catch my THIRD fish, and it JUST happens to be the RARE I keep saying NEVER shows up. And just take a guess what happened? No family catch, the thing closes to the sell your fish pop up and guess what – ONLY THE FAMILY CAUGHT FISH WERE THERE! My RARE I’ve been WAITING for is NOWHERE to be found neither were the other two fish MY OFFICIAL pet caught. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
You know, I can’t even imagine the frustration a kid would go through after this experience, when I as an adult am THIS frustrated over this game.
This happened to me this morning. I caught a rare Flying Fish and 2 others, and they were not there when I could choose to keep or sell.
Same thing happened to us. One of ours also had a rare. Very disappointing.
New updates to any games break other things. It just takes a minute for them to find all the glitches. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon :)
Update: Went fishing today caught very nice fish. NONE were there when we finished. I could tell it wasn’t going to be good when i caught the 2nd fish and it didn’t register.
Yesterday (the 15th) when it finally showed up I was able to ask 4 friends for a leaf. Today (albeit only about 10 hours later) it awarded me the free leaf but only allowed me to ask 1 friend. Any idea what is going on??? I tried both on an ipad and HP stream – both acted the same and I tried with my 3 accounts. I hope this gets fixed and that I can get my friend requests in sooner rather than later, Thanks
Had this issue with the BBQ – honestly everything in this game is becoming a hit or miss and more and more are misses. It’s sad that things aren’t maintained when changes are made.
Is there a possibility the new Alyssa Challenge has a glitch? I have looked for my three last mushrooms for almost an hour. I have logged off and back in, done other activities, and they have not appeared in the mine. Is anyone else having this issue?
FYI, I solved the pirate’s chest in the middle of collecting Alyssa’s mushrooms. I believe that caused the glitch. I highly recommend not to touch the chest in the middle of collecting mushrooms.
Good advice, thank you for sharing. I also noticed you can’t gem hunt while you look for mushrooms.
Thanks for the info, it’s a shame we have to find so many ‘workarounds’ to play a kids game. I feel for the kids I really do.
I don’t know how many actual kids play WW anymore. Hopefully the new plushies coming out to the stores in October will change all of that. We can experience a whole new generation getting to enjoy WW for the first time.
I’ve found the magic mushrooms…..everywhere. The pink mushroom room, by the sleeping bags. I have NOT seen them by the waterfall.
Does clicking on the pile automatically give you your first free leaf? Just asking because that’s not what happened for myself, but maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Hello ilovetrotter. The system update happened between 10 am ET and 1 pm ET. Then each player had to update their Next program. Did you do this? What time did you click on the leaves?
NEW PLUSHIES!! Could they be a German Shepherd, and some kind of panda, or bear? The ad says coming to stores across the US and Canada. If I can find them in my local stores, I will probably start crying with joy right there in the aisle. If you see me, please don’t judge. Just bring tissues. LOL! :’-)
It definitely looked like a German shepherd to me. I also loved the dog in the avatar of the app for the new update. I’m excited to see what they have! It also looks like the plush have new, normal eyes that look more like classic. I truly hope so anyways!
I actually read a bit of the new plushies ad, and it said 12 NEW PLUSHIES!!! 12! I may faint!
