I’m pretty new to Webkinz so I guess it’s all good to change. I do like it the way it is but I’m curious to see what they improve. I’ve had a lot of trouble with glitches so I hope they fix that. The challenges are so much fun but I don’t get credit for a lot of the tasks I do so I waste a lot of kinzcash. I can’t wait for new things!
they haven’t fixed the glitches in 7 years. they just get worse. fingers crossed the new update wont make it unusable.
The glitches are annoying, but not enough to get me to quit the game (biggest woe is the wshop). I am however soooooo anticipating what X will bring! (Those video ads on the side bar though, I would have thought they should stop when I opted out of ads. They botch up games and freeze the computer all the time – - If they don’t stop, they might make me quit, they are beyond frustrating!)
Yes, those ads wreck the games (and my computer) all the time. Usually at some very crucial scoring point.
Looks like it has something to do with Webkinz X. :/ :) Idk if I should be happy or sad!!! :P But it does sound eXciting! :D -k19r

Webkinz X sounds so FUN! I can’t wait for it! But sometimes I wish Webkinz would go back, instead of forward, so I could see what happened the first 8 years. Could someone tell me?
Who knows maybe Ganz will be updated the site to make it more like it was a few years ago. Just with more features. And have it run smoother!

I’m taking a wait and see attitude but I’m not fond any changes. I like things the way they are.
I used to be completely against ANY kind of change… I am getting a little better :D I think Webkinz can use some help in some areas. But i am really hoping this isn’t a total site makeover…. just a little something to make it more fun and fix the bugs. and maybe add some “fan requested features”. #NoRemodelJustAddition
This sounds interesting! I won’t be doing it on my computer tho unless we DON’T have to turn off our ad block. Which we usually have to do for these meet in the park events. I hope that will not be the case this time.
Yeah. I hope, we don’t have to turn off the ad block. The ads slows my desktop down.
IKR I HATE ads that are like commercials and animated.

It’s something in your computer’s settings that can turn those animated, video-style ads on or off. Having them on slows down most systems a lot.
IKR? It makes the site unplayable.
Ads do slow them down, but it’s worth it for the prizes. I turn them off, get the prize for the day and then turn the ad blocker back on.

Devoting all my time and effort to a couple of clips won’t tell me anything, and I have no idea how you know what June 6th and 7th means, but cool! You seem good at this stuff….but how did you know the date? It seems like you got inside scoop from somewhere…..intriguing…

Lisamarie580, I know what you mean about the cursing part. It is really annoying anymore. I don’t like watching or listening to things with cursing, but sometimes I kind of have to deal with it. Lol, sometimes I just turn the TV onto a kids show so there’s nothing bad. Btw, xmy9tailxkinz is talking about a japanese anime called Naruto. You watch it online; on the computer.

Yeah… I’m not liking the sound of it. They “keep everything we love”, but something tells me that although they’re keeping, they’re changing aspects of it, like the way the new WShop is.

Totally agree with you gobbkus. It is frustrating having to go through all the things I can’t buy!!!
My main beef with the new WShop is that we don’t have the check-out place anymore, so I can’t see whether two furniture items look good together and compare two things next to each other. Although I’m also pretty annoyed by the fact that EStore items are in the same place as regular items.
Personally, I think the old W-Shop was better. And ALSO, I think this is cool and exciting. I mean, no use griping over something we don’t even really know about. So yeah, I can’t wait! Besides, Project X is up and running, so the best we can do is give our opinions and suggestions, not keep worrying. :)
I agree that the new WShop is definitely NOT an improvement. I used to know how to find what I wanted to buy, now it takes FOREVER! Curious to see what the new stuff will be…Webkinz X??

It would be nice if they had a separate place for Estore stuff. I get all excited when I see something and then my hopes are crushed cause it’s an Estore item. I won’t ever have Estore access, too much money
I agree. I liked the old checkout, it was easier to use the coupons and see what you buy. Also, I would rather have the Deluxe and E-Store items in a separate areas of the W-Shop.

Yeah I liked the old shop much better. It was nice when I could put nine items in a cart. That way i could compare beds, tables, ect. Now I have to make a decision on the spot :/
That sounds really nice for the W shop. They should make it like that again so we can design better rooms. I also get all excited over the things I see but then I notice it’s not kinzcash stuff. Having it separate would be better I think. I love making rooms but I have to build up my money first!
It is hard when someone messes with something we care about, however we need to wait and see what they are doing before we make any decisions. It might be a lot of fun changes. Who knows, maybe they will give back access to things that were free that are now deluxe, like Vacation Island and the room themes that used to be available that are not now or only partially.

i like changes in some things, but when webkinz started turning everything deluxe, and when most of kinzchat plus was removed, thats some changes i wasnt in the least happy about.
I understand your feeling towards it but we haven’t seen nothin yet I’m sure. I’m afraid WebkinzX is going to happen. Why would they make t and then toss the idea away? Who knows, it might actually be a good thing webkinz is doing.
I’m with you spookythelavadragon. Maybe it’s because I’m newer but I think it’s very exciting to change things, especially when there are things not everyone likes. Different doesn’t have to be good OR bad!
