It’s rare we make plush pets based ones that were originally released as “virtual only” but the Gingerbread Pup was so deliciously cute… we had to make an exception!
Silverback Gorilla
The Silverback Gorilla leads the way when it comes to a big pet with a big heart. Always at the center of any social gathering, we knew this glorious ape would be a dominant contender for the best pet.
Golden Retriever
The original Golden Retriever and still one of the best pets. This adorable puppy stole our hearts when it first appeared in Webkinz World and it enthralls us to this day. If you’re trying to decide, this dog is sure to give you paws.
Ribbon Unicorn
It’s no myth that the Ribbon Unicorn is truly one of a kind. While this brightly colored creature would never blow its own horn, when it comes to choosing the best pet, this unique unicorn is a shining contender for first place.

I am really glad that the Golden Retriever made it to the finals! I got one about two years ago. His name is Sandy! I named him after the dog in he movie “Annie.”
This is a really tough one. If I had to pick, I’d pick the Golden Retriever once it was one of the original 8 pets or possibly the silverback gorilla because that’s an older pet. As much as I love the Ribbon Unicorn (which I’d love to own) and the Gingerbread puppy (I own one and his name is Frosting), they are still a little too new, in my mind, for them to win this competition (I’m still sticking with the older pets), but I wouldn’t be that sad if they won, because they are pretty amazing pets. So far, I think I’ll be going with the older pets such as the Whimsy dragon, unicorn, googles, golden retriever, etc. ;)

Yeah I would like to see an older pet win. just because it seems like it has been around for all the years of Webkinz and has been loved by many Webkinz owners over the years.
Same here. I’d really like to see a pet win that’s been around for almost 10 years. Since it’s the upcoming 10th anniversary, to me it’s only fitting if a pet that’s been around for almost as long won the “Greatest Webkinz” title ;)

I agree with the fact that an older pet should win BUT (emphasis on the but) I really do love the gingerbread puppy (I have one she is named Gumdrop) so Ièm kind of debating that or the golden retriever (I have one of those his name is Goldie but he is not on my account) but probably the golden retriever” Good luck to everyone!:)
I get where you’re coming from. It is really hard for me to not try to vote for the gingerbread puppy. If it wasn’t for me being so much in favor of an older plush pet winning, the gingerbread puppy may have gotten my vote. As for now, I’m debating between the golden retriever, googles, whimsy dragon, original unicorn, and few other older pets. ;)

I’m really considering the Whimsy dragon. In fact, maybe I will vote for it. It is a pretty significant pet, after all. It’s just that it’s a little hard when I’m also considering the unicorn and the googles (which are two of my favorite pets). his is going to be a hard decision.

I have one too! But I think it is so close to the cocker spaniel that if that one win i am going to think “Why didn’t the cocker spaniel win?” I mean He is The dog on the front of the tag! so isn’t He completely qualified to be on this list? maybe not :D I would really like to see a pet win that is unique but not TOO unique. one that you can create a personality for. not one that you get and it is already created for you!

The Golden Retriever was one of the first webkinz too! It’s also a classic. And a favorite abviously according to the other comments.
I have a Golden Retriver webkinz myself too but I have to agree with u on all points animelover7644! :D After all besides the fact that the Cocker Spaniel is, “the dog on the front of the tag” It was also my very first webkinz I got! I loved how it was a pet I could make my own personality for, unlike some of the newer pets that are great, It’s just maybe they have a little “too much personality” that u can’t really come up with it yourself, I love deciding what my pets will be like and that’s why I’m totally voting for the Whimsy Dragon! It’s a cute pet that’s not too plain but not too crazy either, yes It’s girly(I don’t exactly mind that) but It’s not too girly if u know what i mean, still I understand how the pink color might throw some people off I hope everyone will still remeber our very first pink little dragon!

Eh, despite the fact I’m a girl, it’s a bit too girly for my taste. Cute, but a little bit too girly. I do, however, like some unicorns (like Rapidash :P). Of these, I like the Gingerbread Pup. By the byyyy… GANZ, can you pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase also make an exception for the Gypsy Vanner?! I would really like some more horse plushes that are actual animals, or at least appear to be. Yeah, I know it’s WAY to girly for me. I just thought it was cute. I would like the Timber Wolf to win, too! I love wolves. And Foxes. I’m having a hard time. I think the Ribbon Unicorn is a cute pet :) my friend has one, but still I don’t exactly feel like It’s really the “greatest webkinz of all time” maybe it is a bit too girly for me, I still think it’s a nice pet just to get though :D

Ok so after seeing how many people are acting like they’re a bit “against” the pink and girly webkinz I’m starting to lose a little hope in the Whimsy Dragon :( Plz don’t forget our very first dragon webkinz, a magical, cuddly, playful pet that totally speaks Webkinz World! That’s what we need for the title of Greatest Webkinz :D LETS GO TEAM . . . WHIMSY DRAGON! #Whimsy Dragon, is the bravest, Whimsy Dragon, the most famouse, Whimsy Dragon is the tamest, all of this makes her the Greatest!
Out of these pets, the only one I have is the Ribbon Unicorn! I love it so much! Go Ribbon Unicorn!
While the unicorn looks pretty cool, I kind of wish there wasn’t this vote at all. Then the winning pet will be seen as better than the other pets. I think all the pets are the greatest pet.
I like unicorns too! But I think the golden retriever is my favorite of this bunch. I looked in the brackets but didn’t see my all time favorite – the pink poodle!!!! I was hoping that more of the Webkinz that were in the most popular list would make it into this competition. It’s been fun seeing some different Webkinz thought. Maybe they’ll have a part 2 (or even 3 . . .) competition for some of the others and then an ultimate face-off!!! Can’t wait!
