Hey Guys, I am excited about today’s post which features 7 room designs by expert designer; Autumn! These rooms are all inspired by the Harry Potter books & movies. Autumn actually sent me more than 7 designs, but I had to narrow it down so I picked my favorites.

Thanks to everyone who sent me a screenshot of their room… keep them coming!

first up is Autumn’s version of Harry’s room under the stairs in the Dursley house. Great design, especially for a small sized room:

Here’s a view of the Dursley neighbourhood on Private Drive:

This beautiful outdoor room features the Hogwarts Express on the way to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Autumn has added Ron driving his father’s flying car after the design was finished:

Here’s a look at the Great Hall inside Hogwarts. Prof. Albus Dumbledore, Prof. Minerva McGonagall (cat on left) and Prof. Severus Snape (bat on the right) await the arrival of the students into the Great Hall.

I really like this design. It’s Hagrid’s Hut! The pumpkin patch and dragon statue are great touches:

This one is also one of my favorites that Autumn sent in. It’s Gringott’s Wizarding Bank! look at all that KinzCash:

The final two screenshots are classroom that would be found at Hogwarts. First up is the Denfense Against the Dark Arts class:

This last design is probably my favorite out of the 7 (although it’s so hard to choose a favorite). It’s the Herbology Class. There is so much going on here but everything is so well organized:

Congratulations Autumn. You are a such a talented room designer and I always look forward to seeing the screenshots you send me.

I hope that Autumn has inspired you to build new rooms for your house. Want to send us screenshots of some of your favorite rooms? E-mail them to me at letsbuild@ganz.com. Who knows, you might see them in a post right here on Webkinz Newz!

Which one of these room were your favorite? Please leave your comments below…

Cool! I love these rooms! I haven’t seen or read Harry Potter, (I might watch them this summer!!!) but my sisters have. ( So I know some things about it. ;) )

  2. pinkiecupcake says:

Wow! I tried making a Harry Potter movie a few years back, and I didn’t think that my lack of estore items would make a huge difference, but it turns out that it did. What I had was good, but these look a lot cooler than mine.

  3. meEcho22 says:

    These are really cool.

  4. MEG_WEBKINZ says:

I’M SPEECHLESS!!!!!!!!! I LOOOOVE HARRY POTTER SO I LOOOOVE THESE ROOMS!!! *faints*

    • FennecFox says:

*Tries to help you up but that realizes… I MUST FAINT TOO!* *faints* XD

    • TElVid128 says:

MEG_WEBKINZ & FennecFox: LOL You two are funny~ thank you for your posts and for making me laugh. :) <3 ~ Autumn

    • Fluttershy736 says:

Go MEG_WEBKINZ!!! I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan too!!! My favorite is Buckbeak :)

    • MEG_WEBKINZ says:

Omg I just noticed how Vernon Dursley is a purple duck!!! BEST IDEA EVER XD

      • TElVid128 says:

LOL MEG_WEBKINZ ~ Actually, the purple duck is Harry ;). If you look in the backyard though, Vernon is trying to hold onto Aunt Marge as she’s flying away. :) <3

        • Fluttershy736 says:

Haha, I remember that! I like how the bird is Harry, but I would have made him a snake :) still YOU ARE AWESOME AUTUMN!!! These are some of the best rooms, even if I’m a Harry Potter fan, these are pure awesome :D

          • TElVid128 says:

Fluttershy736: Thank you for writing, Sweetie, and for the nice things you said. :) <3 I actually did use a snake, but it was for Nagini. ;) There are A LOT of other rooms in addition to these that help to tell the story. It was important that Harry was a similar type of student next to Ron and Hermione, so that is why he is the little purple duck :). Smiles to you <3 ~ Autumn

        • MEG_WEBKINZ says:

OHHHH whoops I thought it was a VERY angry Vernon Dursley :P

          • TElVid128 says:

MEG_WEBKINZ: No, “whoops”~ you’re AWESOME!! :D And you did pick up on the angry thing. That was the scene after Aunt Marge spoke ill of Harry’s parents enraging him and triggering his magic abilities. ;) Thanks for noticing!! Hugs! <3 ~A

  5. kbk100 says:

  8. FennecFox says:

    Nice designing, Autumn! :D

  9. Umgrilledcheese says:

    Wow! These are amazing.

  10. TaffyKitty12 says:

Cool! :D I bet my friend would love these! She’s a real Harry Potter fan XD Me… Well, I don’t really know a whole lot about it

    • WebkinzLover2015 says:

Well…, I don’t know too much too, but it’s fun to stay with your friends and listen to how passionate they talk about Harry Potter. :))

      • FennecFox says:

me too, TaffyKitty! My parents don’t want me to get the books, so, I’ll respect that! xD

        • tarayvonne says:

Oh that’s kinda sad, and a little confusing because Lord of the Rings has much more fighting and dark stuff than HP. It was written for adults, and HP was written for kids so it’s much lighter material. Oh well, different stuff for different people I guess :) Many other good series out there for people to read anyway.

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yeah, that is true! My friend is very passionate about Harry Potter, and I honestly can’t count all of the Harry Potter merchandise she owns (she’s a huge fan of Harry Potter) and despite the fact I don’t know a lot about it, it’s fun to listen to her talk about it sometimes :)

        • WebkinzLover2015 says:

Well I think we us have our obsessions… in a good way, them can defy someway us, like some of us love Harry Potter. From all I know about these series it’s quite a lot about magic and adventure, good vs evil. It’s so interesting to meet people who likes it because I’ve always been the adept of living in a quite different world, full of dreams and magic because there all can be better. :)) So I think everyone of us has their own world, where we are the real ourselves. I really enjoy spending time with my Harry Potter fans friends, it’s so fun to see how they feel living in the story. :D

    • RosyFox says:

I’m on the same page, TaffyKitty! I’ve never read or seen anything Harry Potter, but some of my friends really like it. These rooms are outstanding, Autumn! I love how you design and your great sense of creativity! Thanks for sharing!

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yeah, same! Sometimes it can make things a little awkward since I don’t have any clue what she’s talking about. But if she likes it, regardless of whether I know a lot about it or not, I encourage her to embrace it :) and yeah, these rooms are really great! Autumn does a fantastic job with designing rooms!!!

      • TElVid128 says:

        RosyFox: Thanks, Love!! ;) ~Autumn

    • doingmydailies says:

I’m obsessed with Harry Potter!!! I’ve read all the books and watched almost all the movies!!!! These rooms are incredible!!!! They really capture the feeling of the books!!!

    • WingsOfFreedom says:

Fennec, TaffyKitty, WebkinzLover, and RosyFox, a lot of my friends weren’t allowed to read Harry Potter for quite a while, some of them still aren’t. I read it years ago and went to the theme park and have tons of merchandise and love all the movies and everything. They haven’t seen them because of the magic. A lot of people are put off by that, even though they’re fine with the Lord of the Rings (which also has magic and wizards), or Once Upon A Time, And the list goes on. I respect your parent’s wishes of course, but I will just tell you that they are written beautifully and have lots of really good Christian themes in them. So, if they ever change their mind, or if it’s that you just weren’t all that interested in them, please give them a chance. And also the characters in them are so deep and unique, they are still one of (possibly my favorite) my favorite series and I’m an avid reader and watch a lot of movies, so that’s pretty impressive that they have such high ranking. :P Anyway, sorry to go off rambling like that when I could’ve just told you how awesome these rooms are!! They’re really incredible, good job, Autumn!

      • FennecFox says:

WingsofFreedom, kewl! But I just prefer not to watch Harry Potter anyway… ;p But I AM A BIG LORD OF THE RINGS FAN! :D

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

Hey WingsOfFreedom! Great to see you on here again! :D well, the truth is… Hehe…. I used to be a Harry Potter fan. I know. Hard to believe. But it was a long time ago, back when I was in fourth grade. One day my parents rented the first movie, and then I became obsessed! Okay, I actually never read the books, just watched the movies. But, anywho, one day…. I, well, my local bookstore was closing and all books were on sale. And on those shelves were a bunch of warriors books. Back in those days I went to a normal school (I became homeschooled in sixth grade because my school had a lot of bullying issues) and one of my classmates told me that warriors was a great series. Being curious, and of course I started getting into cats back then, I bought all of the ones they had there. To make a long story short, I fell in love with warriors (which to this day is still my favorite book series) , and slowly got out of my obsession with Harry Potter. Nowadays, I honestly don’t really remember much from the movies…. Only just a few small parts. Now that my friend got back into it, well, I’ve been remembering it a little more, but I still don’t remember that much to be honest. I could just go watch the movies again… But I dunno. To be honest… I’m not sure if I want to get back into it again. Not that it’s a bad movie/book series or anything, oh no, it was really good!!! But…. I’m into other things now and I guess you could say I moved on fully from that obsession. But again, not a bad series! It was great! Just not exactly my thing nowadays.

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Sorry for that long comment up above! And again, I’m not saying it’s a bad series or anything, I’m just saying it’s just not really my thing nowadays. The things I like now are quite different. Now I’m obsessed with animated movies (or live action films featuring some animated components) , a lot of Disney films (well, Disney in general), the warrior cats series, and of course, Webkinz! xD Harry Potter was a good series, and my parents didn’t have any objection to it. We are Christians, but I don’t think my parents found any harm in it. And I must say, the good vs evil theme was great!!! I’m just not sure how I’d feel about getting back into it. I’m not saying I’d never like to watch it again, no, I’m just saying it would be hard to re learn everything (I barely remember any of it :/ ), so I think it’s best off being a distant memory for now. Oh, and Fennec, sweet! I actually never watched or read Lord of the Rings, but I bet it’s cool :)

          • FennecFox says:

Taffy, I am homeschooled too! :D Oh, you have just GOT to watch Lord of the Rings! My little sis keeps saying “I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Pippin New year”… XD

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Cool! *high five* and sweet! I bet the Lord of the Rings is a great series! Perhaps I will watch it one day :) and lol, that’s funny!

          • ilovemoonie says:

wow, thats cool, i’m homeschool too!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Sweet! :D it’s nice to see that quite a few of us on here are homeschooled! :)

          • FennecFox says:

            Yep, this is SWEET! :D

      • WebkinzLover2015 says:

That’s really cool WingsOfFreedom, I think these Harry Potter books are really special,

        • kbk100 says:

I’m homeschooled as well! Wonderful to see so many homeschoolers! I am a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, Lord of the Rings fan! Posters…lego sets…all that stuff! :) I am not allowed to watch Harry Potter though! I think it’s different then LOTR because in LOTR is easy to see the difference between good and evil…good always beats evil…while in Harry Potter, there is no obvious good vs. evil. Magic and wizards are fine…but Harry Potter takes a totally different approach to wizards and magic then LOTR does. It’s not that it’s inappropriate…but just not right for our family. As a Christian family, we are picky about what we can and can’t see. I have heard it is very interesting though! I can see why you enjoy it…it’s just not for me! :)

        • RosyFox says:

I’m homeschooled, too! She homeschools both of us, and I personally enjoy it more than I did public school (which I went to in Kindergarten and had some bad experiences there with bullies…)!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Sorry to hear that, RosyFox! I got bullied, too, when I went to a regular school :( Luckily, my parents let me switch and now, I wouldn’t even wish to go back to a normal school! At least I don’t get bullied! Plus I can spend more time with my awesome friends here on webkinz Newz :) oh, and kbk100, sweet! It’s great to see a lot of others on here are homeschooled :) And cool! And I bet LOTR is great!

          • RosyFox says:

Wait a second…I meant that our mom homeschools me and my little brother…I wonder what happened, but it doesn’t matter. And thanks for being so sweet, TaffyKitty!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

That’s okay! I make a lot of typos all the time! And you’re welcome! I really enjoy homeschooling! Funny thing is we are both homeschooled along with our little brothers (I have a little brother as well. He’s my only sibling) such a coincidence! :)

      • TElVid128 says:

        WingsOfFreedom: Thank you! ;) <3 ~ Autumn

        • ilovemoonie says:

Wow! There’s a lot more of us that homeschool than I thought! I’ve homeschooled all my life,(and so have my five older sisters) and I love it!! I don’t really have that much friends, because I’m kind of shy, and because I don’t know as much people, being homeschool, but I have all of you wonderful friends on Webkinz newz! :)

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

MCool! I never imagined so many of us were homeschooled, either! And it’s so cool that you’ve been homeschooled all your life! I wish I was…. Then I wouldn’t have had to go through that horrible bullying at my old school :/ Well, at least I’m homeschooled now, and have been for the last four years, so I don’t have to worry about that as much anymore :) And yeah, same here. I’m pretty shy in real life (but once I get to know someone, I’m a real chatterbox), so I don’t have many friends. Plus I’m not exactly comfortable around other kids my age. I dunno. I guess I’m afraid they might bully me. Well, anywho, as friend go… I only have two. One was a friend I made back in my old school and my other friend I met on a vacation a few years ago. Sadly I don’t see them often since one is really busy and the other lives pretty far from me. But I’m grateful to have them! The great thing on here though is that, well, since it’s not face to face, I’m actually not shy like I would be in real life! And a lot of the people I meet on here are so nice to me! Even though I never actually met anyone on here, I consider all of you my friends! :) I really appreciate how kind (and sometimes funny and random) you all are!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Sorry about that “m” in front of the word “cool” in that front sentence! I must’ve accidentally clicked the wrong thing.

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

That’s how I am, TaffyKitty and ilovemoonie! I’m really introverted and a little bit shy (two things that don’t mix well) so I have trouble making friends sometimes. We go to a program for homeschoolers twice a week and the rest is done all at home (does that make sense?) so I actually have a fair number of friends there. But I consider all of you my friends even though I’ve never met you, but you’re all so sweet and funny! I love how you all welcomed me on here so quickly when I started commenting, so thanks! :-) And I talk a lot once you get to know me too. Oh and Taffy, if you think of any places for “kinz-con” can you tell me? Dallas could work for some people, but that’s too far away for others, I’m trying to find someplace kind of in the middle, you know? But I’d love to send in a suggestion to webkinz soon!

          • ilovemoonie says:

Yeah, I’m like that too. I’m really shy around most people, (especially people around my age) but with my family and people I know well, I talk a lot. :) and I’m sorry to hear about the bullying. I never went through anything like that, but I can imagine how terrible it must be! I wonder why people would do things like that….:/ anyways, I don’t really have any friends who I hang out with much or anything. One of my older sisters has a friend who I’m kind of friends with too, but she’s older than me and I don’t see her that often. There’s a few other people who I guess you could say we’re my friends, but I only see them at different events and stuff. And then, of course, there’s my sisters, and everyone on Webkinz newz! You guys are awesome! :D I don’t know any of you in real life, but I consider you all my friends, and I always enjoy talking with you! :)

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Hey WingsOfFire! That totally makes sense :) My homeschooling is a bit different than some, since, well, I actually do mine online. I go to an online school, but I do everything from home. It’s kinda hard to explain how everything works, but the good thing is it’s perfect for me and that’s what matters ;) Yeah, again, I’m pretty shy too. And the ways that I met both of my friends were actually pretty awkward! But in the end, I got two great bffs out of it! I’m actually really talkative with them, bit with other people, let’s just say I don’t really talk. I guess you can say I’m kind of afraid to talk to other people :/ Oh, and thanks so much!! You are a great friend on here! :) And as for ideas about the Kinz con, I think Dallas would be a pretty good place! Another idea I have is maybe Nashville. I know it’s not around the middle of the country, but there’s this one awesome hotel there that would be a perfect place for a Kinz con!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Hey ilovemoonie! Yeah, same here :/ I dunno why but I’m also kind of nervous around other kids my age as well. Ever since I got bullied, I just don’t really like Bing around other kids unless I know them or they’re nice to me. And yeah, I can’t imagine why people would wish to bully others. I don’t know how anyone could get enjoyment out of making fun of or pushing around another individual. To me that’s just wrong. But, anywho, yeah, it wasn’t a fun experience. But, I’m so glad you never had to go through the that! Trust me, it’s something you never want to experience! And yeah, I don’t have tons of friends either. I used to have a few other people that I would consider to be friends, but that was back when I went to a regular school. Now I just have two good friends. But to be honest, even though two are not many, I’m glad to have both of them :) and again, yeah, I consider all of you on here friends! All of you are just so nice to me! And it’s so fun to talk to you all! Even though in reality we probably live far away from each other, and despite the fact I don’t know any of you outside of webkinz Newz, I’m still glad to be on here with all of you! :D

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

*oh, and in that above comment, I meant to say WingsOfFreedom, not WingsOfFire. Sorry!!!

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

Yeah I just never know what to say, so unless someone starts a conversation with me first, it’s really hard for me to talk to people I don’t know very well. That definitely makes sense, I’ve heard of online schools. I’m glad you found something that works for you! And I’m sorry that you had to go through all that bullying, I don’t understand why people feel the need to do that either. Aww, thanks, you’ve been an awesome friend to me too, TaffyKitty! Hmm, Nashville might work. I think that I couldn’t probably make it there. We’ll keep those two locations in mind and see if they could possibly work! Maybe webkinz might take this into consideration for us!!! :D

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

That was supposed to say could make it there, not couldn’t

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

That’s okay, WingsOfFreedom! I make typos all the time! They can be annoying XP and yeah, same here. I normally don’t like to be the one to start a conversation with someone I don’t know. And yeah, it wasn’t a very fun experience. I dunno why people like to bully others. I don’t know how anyone can get enjoyment out of that, but I guess there are some people out there like that. Oh, and thanks! I’m glad it works out, too :) I really like my online home school program. And my teachers are really really nice as well! Oh, and great! Nashville isn’t super super far for me, either. Well, it’s still eight or nine hours via car, but still. :) I think that and Dallas would be two great cities for a kinzcon! (Plus I’ve never been to Dallas, so it would be awesome to go there!) I hope webkinz takes our ideas into consideration :)

      • WingsOfFreedom says:

Sorry for that really long comment!!! Lol, I get really carried away sometimes while I’m talking…

      • WingsOfFreedom says:

Yeah the warriors are really good, TaffyKitty! Well, that’s ok, they’re not for everyone. Maybe you’ll find that after being away from them for a while you’ll start to miss them. I personally could never leave them behind. kbk100, I totally understand that, but actually, there is a very clear definition between good and evil, while still showing that you don’t have to be perfect to still be good, but you can strive to be better. I think it actually shows a very realistic theme there, even though it’s set in a magical world. And my parents were skeptical about that, but then they decided we could give it a chance, and they realised that it has really good themes. Anyway, it’s really not for everyone. Actually, I used to be totally against them, and then my older sister started reading them (I was not happy) and then she started reading them to me and, well, within the first chapter, I loved them! So yeah, it taught me to give things a chance first. I love the Lord of the Rings, too, Fennec! They’re really good TaffyKitty, you should try them out! We’re a Christian, homeschooled family, too, that’s so cool!! Well, anyway, thanks for talking the time to read this! And your welcome, Autumn, I love the detail you incorporated, like the dragon in the pumpkin patch, was that a nod towards buckbeak?

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yeah, I just love that series!!! :D And thanks for replying to my comment! Harry Potter is a really good series, but I guess you could say I kinda got out of it. Doesn’t mean I won’t watch it again, though. You never know; maybe I’ll get back into it again someday. Or maybe not. But either way, I think it was a pretty good series that brought me a lot of happiness when I was younger :) I remember watching the first movie and laughing hysterically at the beginning. I’m not sure why I did, but my dad told me it was during the part when Harry kept receiving tons of letters ;) And sweet! It’s nice to see a lot of homeschooled Christian families on here :) And cool! I bet lord of the rings is a great series! Perhaps I’ll watch them one day ;)
