More Webkinz Room Designs!

In this series of posts, I share Webkinz room designs that were created by members of the Webkinz Newz community. Every few months we hold the Room Design Awards and honor ten players with a special trophy. If you would like the chance to become a finalist for the next Room Design Awards, you must be featured in one of these posts. Anyone can send me screenshots of their favorite Webkinz rooms for the chance to be featured. Just email them to letsbuild@ganz.com.

I am pleased to see many new names among today’s designers! There are 25 rooms in the group, including an Ocean Front Property, Topiary Garden and a Coastal Lookout… enjoy

This was the most amazing set of rooms I think we have seen!!! I will be “borrowing” a LOT of ideas from here. Congrats to all who were chosen – each one certainly deserves the honor!

Wow! I am always impressed with the amazing creativity and artistry of the Webkinz community, but this group of rooms look like the finals to me. I would like to move into Home Sweet Home by Blurayne. I might even vote for Dex in the next election because Campaign Room by Supermnand batman4 is so creative and well-designed. Acoolaunt is a superb room designer and I would love to retire to her Oceanfront Property. I would make sure that part of the acreage had a Topiary Garden like Bab50208. I could dream about a Coastal Lookout like RockyR123′s or an Island Getaway like Newfie’s. I am in awe of all the wonderful rooms. How can this group be topped?

The kids want to visit the Leprechaun Lore room! It looks magical! Grandma wants to visit the Island Getaway. Meanwhile, we’re working together to get a room ready that we think is fit for public viewing.

Thank you, kissypinkiepie…So glad the kids liked my Leprechaun Lore room! I really enjoyed working on it and am honored to have it featured alongside such amazing and creative designs as those that were chosen this week. I definitely would love to visit Island Getaway, too!!!

What a great batch of rooms! Blurayne’s Home Sweet Home is so finely crafted that every time I looked at it, I noticed new details! From the clothes hanging on the line to the fowl in the pen to the little stool under the apple tree to the water barrel sitting near the well. I laughed when I saw the outhouse was far far away from the well (wouldn’t want to contaminate the water supply). The splashes of colour from the apple trees, garden spots and the flowers add bursts of energy to this home sweet home. Full disclosure: Blurayne is a good friend but that’s not why I’m loving this room. It just takes my breath away. Supermanandbatman4′s Campaign Room was a picture-perfect representation of its name, from that hotel carpet to the podium to the camera pointed squarely at the candidate and, of course, the room-dominating poster of Dex Dangerous. Loved it. Kitty2008′s Starmaker Island creates a small, symmetrical room in a big space. Quite unusual. And those yellow flowers in the water! WOW. Finally, thanks to Team Michael for including my spartan It Came From Outer Space, which is a pretty accurate reflection of my goofy sense of humour. Congratulations everyone, including my friends Roxy616 for a very pretty room and Aubmoo12 for a delightful cafeteria.

Thank you Traveller for your sweet comments. This room represents the home where my mom grew up and where she and dad raised me and my sister in our younger years. The well is standing in for the spring house where we used to carry water to the house before they ran water pipes to the house. The pen is supposed to have chickens too. The little fire pit out back is where we burned our trash (no trash pickup then). We used to sit under those apple trees under the shade and talk or work stringing beans for canning. So many memories. :) blurayne

@blurayne It’s clearly a room built with love so it was easy for me to imagine the story behind it. Technically speaking, it also has depth and texture, which isn’t so easy to do. I think this room is your best yet.

Thank you so much, Traveller! There were so many fabulous rooms featured this week, and I loved the amazing detail and creativity that went into each one!
