I guess I wasn’t expecting another monkey in such a short time frame. I’ve never really liked monkeys, but for those of you who do, I hope you’ll get the chance to buy this pet! ~webkinzlove2207~
Personally, I’m not a big fan of the monkey pets, but I think this one stands out from the rest for me. I think it’s the fact that it has more animalistic attributes than the other monkeys (for example, the way it’s sitting in the picture resembles the way a dog sits), so already it’s set itself apart. Add that to the fact that it has a couple of freckles to affirm that “yes, I am the Onyx Monkey and don’t you forget it”, and you’ve got a strong design right there!
I actually like the plush fine. But i really don’t like the virtual. I was really hoping for a horse or something but oh well.

Cute pet! I don’t think I’ll be getting it though. I mean, I like monkeys, but I’m not crazy about them.
Same :) It is especially a cute plush, yet I am saving my money for something else! I absolutely cannot contain my excitement though as I will love to see these monkeys going bananas around Webkinz World.
I don’t like the beauty marks on its cheek, but it is cute. I especially like its PSI and PSF. Its oval shaped face reminds me of my cat!

Oh, that is a great name choice! You should make a little fez for him too! I am going to have to have my hubby help me order this little guy for our grandson’s Christmas gift. There are no longer any stores close to us that sell the new plushies. :( There is a florist that has a few but…..

Maybe his cheek is part bowling ball…. Also, when I read the title of this post, the old Onix call from Pokémon popped into my head. It’s a pretty cute pet, overall. Although the virtual version doesn’t seem to have captured it the way I’d like it, but I think my standards might be too high. :P
Oh yeah, I forgot about Onix! I was thinking of the actual rock, so I was expecting like, a volcano monkey or something. But this wasn’t disappointing at all, at least for me! I think it’s got a strong design to set it apart from the other monkeys, and it basically adorable. Come to think of it, does this remind anyone else of the Webkinz Jr. line from 2011 or is it just me?
Huh, yeah, I guess it does kinda look like those…. And I thought of the rock too, initially, at least, but now I keep thinking of an Onix-Primeape Pokéfusion whenever I hear the name. :P
Haha, Prime-onix would be sweet. On the subject of the actual Webkinz, though, I think it’s got rounder and softer shapes in its design, which is why it looks so much like Webkinz Jr. At any rate, it’s a really cool pet!

Hey Pokekinz, I feel you….. A lot of pets look REALLY cute as plush pets, but online, they’re just not the same : ( Some pets though, totally live up to their plush standards. Pets like the Yellow Lab, Chocolate Lab, Black Lab, and the Love Puppy all look just as cute online as they do plush…….. Also, I’m so exited…. I’m getting a Love Puppy!

Aww, I love this one! The freckles are not only super adorable, but set him apart from all the other monkey Webkinz so that he can be a star on his own. The fact that his silhouette is unique from any other pet also helps a whole bunch, which I think makes the Onyx Monkey a strong design that’s also super cute! Awesome job, GANZ!
