The prizes come in two yummy flavors… Strawberry Apple and Sour Apple!

We’ll be dropping clues on our official Facebook fanpage during the party so keep your eyes peeled.
Facebook: http://www.Facebook.com/Webkinz
HINT: At the party (on Twitter), get ready to send us some pictures of the Hosts listed in the Webkinz World friend list. In case you missed it, Hosts like Sheldon Turtle and Amanda Panda can now be added as friends!

Something for everyone:
If you don’t use Twitter, no problem! We’re also having cool contests where you can win prizes, right here on Webkinz Newz. Check out the contests here.
Note: Twitter and Facebook are not owned or operated by Ganz. Winners require an active Webkinz account to use Prizes. The full contest rules can be viewed here.
Agree’s with jayjay. ;)
How do I get gifts from the hosts on webkinz? I need to know, because the hosts have sent me NOTHING!
Arwen (homekid8)
P.S Does it cost money to join webkinznewz? :o
Nope,it’s free!
): I don’t have facebook or twitter and neither do my parents. I wish they would have more for everyone prizes and contests. Like youtube-I don’t have youtube.
why twitter? and why facebook? why can we justhave those contests on webkinz newz? that way everyone can have a chance to win something, and they should have more floating objects but on webkinz when you are online anyone agree with me? :( ITS NOT FAIR! I AM NOT ALOWED TO HAVE A TWITTER OR A FACEBOOK NEITHER ARE SOME OF MY FRIENDS HELP!
i know. not fair. some of my friends have facebook. my mom said no
i totally agree. way back when, (2007) when i adopted my first pet, they didn’t have any contests or events with twitter or facebook, which i was totally fine with. But then they had to go and make events that a lot of webkinz users couldn’t compete in.
I totally agree! My dad has a facebook and Twitter, but I’m not allowed on his twitter. I agree that they should stop this!
Hello Tristen here. I love Webkinz and all, but twitter connections and facebook connections aren’t necessary here, we have comments to post here on Webkinz news, and chatting, but Twitter isn’t necessary at the moment. Besides, everybody, relax, it said for THE ENTIRE family, so it probably includes you too. –T–
I am trying to get to 125 friends on WW this month if anyone would like to add me my username is 10POINT. If you do thank if you don’t it’s okay. I am currently at 67. Thanks,Bye~10POINT
The more friends isn’t always nessisarily the merrier on webkinz. I advise that to have less clutter on your phone, only friend people that you keep in contact with often.
What are they thinking? That parents go on Webkinz? Most kids aren’t even allowed to Facebook and Twitter so stop this nonsense!
No offense, but tons of parents go on Webkinz.
Hello, Twitter stinks. I mean, cupcakes for teens? that happens to be quite lame. And adults? no offense!
I’m ten and these contests are mostly for my mom and my sister. it’s not fair! I’m the one who really needs food for her pet! I agree with you, 1st commenter. Jayjay, good thinking. I think my sister wouldn’t be nice enough to send her prizes to me, or even FRIEND me! lame-o.
My sister suggested on Webkinz-News.com, here, to the owners and staff, that she suggests they add the Twitter and Facebook Feature on Webkinz, she’s just obviously trying to ruin my life. They took her suggestion, lame.
Um. I’m a kid so I can’t do Twitter and my mom’s on Facebook not Twitter! BUT I WANT A PRIZE! Please help
Again with this Twitter nonsense…..You know, when the wkn was changed and looked different and all that, I was happy about it, but with this stuff about Facebook and Twitter, i dont know anymore. Im not saying its a bad thing im just saying MOST of the kids that go on wkn and webkinz are under at least the age of 10 and MOST cant have a facebook or Twitter, and does wkn think that teens go on webkinz? Webkinz is a much a teen game, it something for kids to play and have fun on, not for teens, i get that SOME ppl can have facebook and twitter, but im saying that MOST can have one. Does anybody agree with me?
I mean Webkinz ISNT much a teen game
thanks sweet16girl. i amgoing to be a freshman next year and having facebook, twitter and webkinz is great When all of my friends are at camps webkinz is the minly only way i can contact them. on he d.c. 8th grade trip it ws how i talked to my sisters too.
I do agree that they should have SOME things on Facebook and Twitter for Webkinz fans, but it seems like everytime I see an event, it always has something to do with a different website other than the safe WKN.
Ugh… not twitter again… – CandyHeart
Yeah, you’re right,JayJay. Webkinz is geared for children 6-13. I read that age information on the Webkinz website.
jayjay,
I’m sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I’m a teenager who loves webkinz. I have Facebook and Twitter so I love that Ganz is doing this for us. I’m in high school and everyone I know there has Webkinz, so I beleive what you are saying isn’t true. I understand why younger kids are upset, but they are doing this for us older users.
Thanks
-A-
You do have a point though Sweet16Girl.
I agree that Sweet16girl thinks Facebook rocks! I AGREE.
i totally agree with u sweet16girl i am not a teen yet but still i no lots who still come on webkinz
My daughter and most of her friends have become bored with webkinz, and they are only 9. It has to do with not being able to move around the site fluently and do cool things in each area. Another reason is the rooms. They are fun to create but once created, difficult to roam around, and have a friend in. So, I am surprised to hear teens are still on webkinz. I do know there are a lot of moms and grandmothers who go on for their kids to get money or play the contests, etc. Especially for the younger kids. So, maybe they are trying to get more older kids back on or to stay on with twitter and such. As it is, it will be years before I allow my daughter to do those things, I don’t even twitter or have a facebook account. I don’t mind if webkinz has it for those who do. What I am surprised at is how young some of these kids are who are allowed to do these things. They are not safe places for kids.
i agree with you Satzuli
jayjay, i have to disagree too. i am going into middle school and tons of people have webkinz. i have a friend whos sis is going to high school in a year and LOVES webkinz. i also know a kindergardener who goes on webkinz. webkinz is for all ages, not teens not kids, both.
I agree with you. I am also in high school, but I don’t have a facebook or twitter, but I believe that this is a good thing for people that do have one! Webkinz is just trying to make something more interesting for older users!
Ganz doing this promo for older users? I can tell.
my parents have webkinz so webkinz is for everyone! i agree with Sweet16Girl!!!
Totally agree with you jayjay. I don’t have twitter or facebook. Also there is too many non-webkinz ads.
I’m a teen but I still can’t have those things.
I am just surprised that a childs website would promote twitter and facebook options. I do think they may be targeting the many moms who go on. And yes, believe it or not there are many, many moms on webkinz, making money for the little ones and keeping up their site. This starts as helping your child and becomes an addiction for the mom!:)
I totally agree w/you!
diamondterra,
Who did you say you agree with?
-A-
I know that SOME kids have twitter and/or facebook but, kids can still go on their parents accounts!
I mean, I know, most kids don’t have facebook and twitter but doesn’t mean you should be angry.
Ganz throws plenty of parties on Webkinz for us so just focus on that.

I do agree!! I am 11 and my dad doesn’t allow it. My mom says it is ok, but then my dad is the boss of the house and stuff.
LOVES THE MALL!!!!!! ^.^
I know that about teens going on twitter and stuff, but im saying that MOST of the ppl that play on webkinz are young and arent allowed to have this stuff, I get wat ut saying Sweet16Girl, but im talking about how MOST ppl that play webkinz are young and cant go on facebook or twitter.
I know, I dont have a facebook or twitter, and this isnt fair how most of the stuff is on facebook or twitter. : -(
I totally agree with jayjay!!!!
ur totally right jayjay! i really dont think many ppl on wvknz hav twitter/fb accounts!
you are right! I agree with jayjay! webkinz should look at what we say about this!
webkinz is cool i hope my mom plays.
I completely disagree. Webkinz is for any and all who enjoy the format and activities and events.
I am a mom with two girls and we all love webkinz, my youngest mostly for the games and visiting etc, my oldest and I thoroughly enjoy the creativity of decorating and dressing the webbies. The games are fun too and some are challenging for any age. There are things for all ages and abilities. For my family, webkinz is great family fun!
Events on Facebook and Twitter are nice for us “older” kids :-) I am hoping the WW will come up with other events that are targeted for us too! My kids help with the Facebook and Twitter events too, we brainstorm for the answers and choose the right room to enter and then share the prizes.
Webkin
wow your a really cool mom!!!!!
I get what everybody is saying but the thing is, u look through wkn and u see all this stuff that is fit for any age, then u come to things like this and u wonder “y would a site like this do anything with twitter or facebook?” idk if they r promoting them or whatever but i don’t feel like it appropriate for a site like wkn. And don’t say anything about webkinz being for teens and adults cause i already know, but think about this.
/jayjay\
YES!! i agree
I SO agree with you!!! I’m 11, and my mom and dad won’t let me get Facebook/twitter/anything “Social Netting” untill i’m an adult. (more likely than not. MABY when i’m 13.) And with the “you must have a WKN account to do this this and that. I can’t even enter contests anymore, cuz i don’t have a WKN account!!!
PS- Webkinz is the c thing to “social netting” that I have that wasn’t given to me as school requirements.
