Parents and Webkinz Fans with Twitter accounts, here’s a fun way to win prizes with the entire family:
To celebrate “Befriending the Hosts” in Webkinz World, we’re having a party (on Twitter) from 2pm to 3:30 pm (EST) on Saturday July 2nd, 2011. There are 40 cool prizes to be won!
We’ll be giving out 40 virtual BFF Cupcakes to the winners during the party. These BFF Cupcakes are special because they come in pairs. Feel free to share them with friends.
The prizes come in two yummy flavors… Strawberry Apple and Sour Apple!
How to Participate:
If you have a Twitter account, just “reply” to our Webkinz Trivia questions on Twitter for a chance to win a prize during the party.
Twitter: http://Twitter.com/Webkinz
We’ll be dropping clues on our official Facebook fanpage during the party so keep your eyes peeled.
Facebook: http://www.Facebook.com/Webkinz
HINT: At the party (on Twitter), get ready to send us some pictures of the Hosts listed in the Webkinz World friend list. In case you missed it, Hosts like Sheldon Turtle and Amanda Panda can now be added as friends!
Please read the full Contest details here.
Something for everyone:
If you don’t use Twitter, no problem! We’re also having cool contests where you can win prizes, right here on Webkinz Newz. Check out the contests here.
Note: Twitter and Facebook are not owned or operated by Ganz. Winners require an active Webkinz account to use Prizes. The full contest rules can be viewed here.
I agree with everyone. They shouldn’t do this because it’s not fair for the younger Webkinz users. On the other hand, it’s fun for older Webkinz users. But think about it this way, younger Webkinz users: They’ll probably have these events forever, and when you’re older, you can have Facebook accounts and Twitter accounts. Or you could have your parents sign up for Facebook and Twitter and use their accounts for Webkinz purposes. I’m 12 and I’ve had a Facebook for 2 years, but I’ve never cared much for Twitter. And I have to agree, it’s fun to go to the events. Well, not really GO, but you know. ;)
I WANT SOME PIE!!!!
I really like this so much
I’m not a teen but I think webkinz is for little kids.
most of us don’t have a twitter or facebook account; i’m 11 and all my friends and everyone in my grade has a facebook or twitter but I don’t! i ask my mom and dad for one but they won’t give it to me. Can’t all the contests and prizes be on this website????? :(
i do think it is a litte unfair because im only 11 and my mom wouldent get me eneything shes nerver around and my older sis wount send a gift to me
P.S if you want to be my freind my acount is haileygrace101
coopdevil77 i agree
i agree with everyone but at my school amost everyone at my school is over the webkinz stage
Hey I’m a adult who loves webkinz, I’m 35. but I think this is more of a way for the adults to do someting for thier kids as a gift or to recogize adults and teens do play and have something more for them to do. Also I think it is to help get parents to help and get involved in what thier kids are doing, and be closer to them. At least not a lot of the stuff is on twitter and facebook and such. And it is hard to win, I have tried a bunch and nothing yet. :(
i wish i could be on twitter and facebook but my parents wont let me
