Emerald City is our 40th Season! Here are some more details, tips and tricks for the week 2 tasks.
Week 2
- Complete a pet request with a kid pet
- Buy a Snowy the Snow Bernard from the W Shop
- Craft any recipe on the Carpenter’s Bench
- Complete the Gem Hunt 5 times
- Exercise your pet on four different days
- Spend 200 Arcade Tickets at the Arcade Shop
- Earn 50 KinzCash playing Ant Mania
- Buy 12 seeds from the Farmer’s Market
- Take a family photo at the Seaside Resort Photo Booth
- Get 3 Bs in a Pop Quiz at the Kinzville Academy
Complete a pet request with a kid pet
Make any kid your active pet and wait for its pet request to complete this task. If you don’t have a kid pet, you cannot complete this task.
Buy a Snowy the Snow Bernard from the W Shop
Look for Snowy the Snow Bernard under Decorations -> Yard Decor. It can also be found under Themes -> Winter. Buy one to complete the task.
Craft any recipe on the Carpenter’s Bench
Tap on any Carpenter’s Bench (yours or a friend’s) and craft something to complete this task. Why not craft a Snow Fort? The recipe will be available until the end of the month, but leaves when Winterfest ends.
Complete the Gem Hunt 5 times
Head to the Gem Mines and tap on three glowing rocks to complete the Gem Hunt. Do this five times to complete this task.
Exercise your pet on four different days
Tap on any exercise equipment — treadmill, trampoline or swimming pool — on four different days to complete this task. You can use any combination of equipment, but it must be on your property — using a friend’s will not work. You can use the same pet or different ones, but it must still be on different days. You can find the pool and trampoline in the W Shop under Decorations -> Yard Decor, and the treadmill can be found under Furniture -> Living Room.
Spend 200 Arcade Tickets at the Arcade Shop
Spend the Arcade Tickets you’ve earned while playing games at the Arcade Shop. If you haven’t completed your task to spend Play Tokens, you may want to purchase some here.
Earn 50 KinzCash playing Ant Mania
Head to the Arcade and tap on any Arcade unit. Select Ant Mania from the list and play as many games as you need to earn 50 KinzCash.
Buy 12 seeds from the Farmer’s Market
Look for the Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 6am to 11pm KinzTime. Tap on the Seed Shop to purchase seeds. You can purchase up to 3 seeds each Farmer’s Market, so it will require 4 visits to complete this task.
Take a family photo at the Seaside Resort Photo Booth
Take trip to the Seaside Resort by going to the Travel Agency and using your travel points, KinzCash or Diamonds to buy a ticket. Go through the doors when you are ready for your vacation, and then head towards the back right of the resort to the photo booth. Take and save a picture of your family (one pet still counts!) to complete this task.
Get 3 Bs in a Pop Quiz at the Kinzville Academy
Head to the Kinzville Academy and complete classtime to take the Pop Quizzes at the end. Earn at least a B on three different Pop Quizzes to complete this task.

Tip: for the gem mining, use your pet who has mining skill level 5, and mine twice per day to make this part of the challenge go that much faster! Go to the KVA lobby and purchase mining skill coupons and apply them all to one pet, by clicking on the statue, until that pet is maxed out at level 5. Skill cards give perks to the pet to whom they are equipped. Please lmk if you have any questions. Bonne chance!
