Emerald City is our 40th Season! Here are some more details, tips and tricks for the week 5 tasks.
Week 5
- Earn 40 ribbons at the Kinzville Academy
- Receive a prize from Alyssa’s Mushroom Run in the Gem Mines 3 times
- Spend 500 KinzCash in the W-Shop
- Earn 50 KinzCash playing Hoppy Little Rocketship
- Have your baby or kid return from Daycare
- Feed your pet 3 Cinnamon Rolls from the Farmer’s Market
- Fill 3 Care Hearts
- Click on a stroller in Kinzville to see the baby’s details.
- Wear a Pet Effect
- Get 100+ Points on Picnic 5 times
Earn 40 ribbons at the Kinzville Academy
Head to the Kinzville Academy and go through the doors to start Classtime. You’ll earn Ribbons based on how well you do at the classes and Pop Quizzes. You can earn a maximum of 36 Ribbons for each session of Classtime, so this will take a minimum of 2 days. Ribbons you receive from the Season and from the Wheel of WOW will count towards this task, but you must have fewer than 9,999 Ribbons to earn more.
Receive a prize from Alyssa’s Mushroom Run in the Gem Mines 3 times
Head to the Gem Mines and complete Alyssa’s Mushroom Run three times to complete this task.
Spend 500 KinzCash in the W-Shop
Tap on the W Shop and look for something to purchase. As long as your purchases add up to 500, you can complete this task by buying any items. Purchases at the Curio Shop do not count towards this task.
Earn 50 KinzCash playing Hoppy Little Rocketship
Head to the Arcade and tap on any Arcade unit. Select Hoppy Little Rocketship from the list and play as many games as you need in order to earn 50 KinzCash.
Have your baby or kid return from Daycare
Send any kid or baby to Daycare. They must have space on their growth meter to go to Daycare. The task completes when they return from Daycare.
Feed your pet 3 Cinnamon Rolls from the Farmer’s Market
Look for the Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, from 6am to 11pm KinzTime. You can purchase three Cinnamon Rolls on one visit and feed them to your pets. It can be the same pet or different pets. If you already have Cinnamon Rolls in your dock, you can complete this task right away.
Fill 3 Care Hearts
Complete your pet’s requests to fill their hearts. Complete the same pet on three different days or three different pets (or any combination) to complete this task.
Click on a stroller in Kinzville to see the baby’s details.
Look for players with strollers in Kinzville and tap on them to see the details of the baby. If you have a baby, why not help out your fellow players and take your baby to visit Kinzville?
Wear a Pet Effect
Pet effects are awarded to your dock for logging in regularly, so check if you already have some before spending Diamonds on any in the W Shop. The Face Painting activity at the Farmer’s Market also counts towards this task.
Get 100+ Points on Picnic 5 times
Head to the Arcade and tap on any Arcade unit. Select Picnic from the list and earn at least 100 points on five different games to complete this task.

I loved the prizes for Emerald City and was very disappointed that a glitch prevented me from purchasing the extra prizes for my three other accounts, Is there a way to get those prizes now?
Today I could not log on due to updates on Next. Now I am able to log on, but my tiger was down to 25% instead of 75 (all the others were to 25% and yesterday I made sure to log on very late again, to avoid that double drop that I have criticized so often). Then I fed my tiger, and what happened? He was suddenly down to 5% – by feeding him! What is going on? I changed pets now and will have to see if their heart drops as well when I do something with them. Don’t get me started on how annoying it is having to wait for their requests anyway, but their heart meter dropping instead of increasing is really frustrating! Anybody else having the problem?
i am unable to log in, it was recommended to uninstall game then reinstall, no I cannot reinstall, so very frustrating. I can play most of the game on mobile but the rooms glitch so much on mobile, I just find it more comfortable on my laptop.
I finished today. Still debating buying the season. It was so incomplete with no wallpaper, bed and only a few indoor and outdoor pieces. The balloon was the most exciting but is it worth the fee? Decisions-Decisions
Agreed — it would be better if we could at least place items where we want, be it indoors or out! :)
