Mayor Arte has a BIG announcement about 3 NEW epic items coming soon to the Webkinz Classic Curio Shop!
“Hey there, Kinzville. After fulfilling my campaign promise to bring a new rare theme to the Curio Shop with the Arte Deco theme, I wanted to do even MORE for all the dedicated collectors out there.
So, I would like to announce that starting on May 7th, there’s a chance you’ll find 3 NEW epic items in the random rotation of Curio Shop items. PLEASE NOTE: These new items are NOT rares, but rather exclusive to the Curio Shop, so they are more likely to appear in the random shuffle of stock throughout the day.
All 3 items are designed to go together with the Webkinz Crown of Wonder and are a must for the Webkinz collector who has everything. But because these new items are SO special, you’ll need to save up A LOT of KinzCash to afford them.
Here’s a SNEAK PEEK at the 3 NEW items:
1. Webkinz Gown of Wonder – 250,000 KC (Fan-design by MaeLilyFlower)
2. Webkinz Sceptre of Wonder – 500,000 KC
3. Webkinz Throne of Wonder – 1,000,000 KC
While all these items are expensive, all 3 can also be traded, so you might be able to get one in the Trading Room if you can find yourself a wealthy Webkinz benefactor!

I really love how beautiful these items are! To MaeLilyFlower, congrats on having your piece chosen! Of course, the only downside to all of this is the price for these items. 1 million kinzcash for a chair that looks like a redesign of another chair (aka the checkerz throne)?????? Seriously Ganz that is ridiculous! If anything, all of these items should at least be half or a third of the price (cause I agree with everyone else – these prizes are not worth getting due to the price. It’s much like how I shop: I see something I like, but it’s too high of a price I DO NOT BUY)! Also, can we not blame Mayor Arte for these prices, please. He didn’t set the price, the employees at Ganz does (Arte is just an in-game Avatar thus no control of what appears in his shop/how often a rare item shows up and the price of items in his shop; Ganz has control for all of that, they determine how often an items appears and how expensive they are – Arte just tells us when theres a sale/rare item, and if we want to keep our gems or not- aka Ganz determines everything he does).
Well I’m glad maelillyflower is finally getting some credit. Don’t you think you should award her, her own dress as well as a trophy? She is the one who designed it after all. I would think she deserves the prototype.

Congrats, Artie! You managed to pop the good-vibes balloon we all had after the outstanding 20th anniversary celebration. The cost of these new items is ridiculous and off-putting. While the dress is beautiful (incredible job, Maelilyflower!) many of its details will be lost underneath when worn. For this price can it be displayed in a trophy case as well? Perhaps provide 2 items…one to be worn, one to be displayed? The throne appears to be, for the most part, a recolored Checkers Throne. Certainly not worth $1 million. Some players call this a challenge, I call it a rip-off.
Sally please give MaeLilyFlower more credit then just a trophy she is one my closest friend and deserves more!

This Dress is a Fan Design? Arte loved it so much he couldn’t let it go for less? The worth of this Design just increased 100 fold and I want it more than ever! Thank you MaeLilyFlower for creating such an exquisitely ornate and beautiful gown for those of us who want something ‘More.’ We already have your Sunny Days Dress in Sheldon’s Surf shop, but this is a masterpiece!! Must Have!! Will Have!! ohhh Arteee, I will be ‘hounding’ you relentlessly for this dress!!
