Mayor Arte has a BIG announcement about 3 NEW epic items coming soon to the Webkinz Classic Curio Shop!
“Hey there, Kinzville. After fulfilling my campaign promise to bring a new rare theme to the Curio Shop with the Arte Deco theme, I wanted to do even MORE for all the dedicated collectors out there.
So, I would like to announce that starting on May 7th, there’s a chance you’ll find 3 NEW epic items in the random rotation of Curio Shop items. PLEASE NOTE: These new items are NOT rares, but rather exclusive to the Curio Shop, so they are more likely to appear in the random shuffle of stock throughout the day.
All 3 items are designed to go together with the Webkinz Crown of Wonder and are a must for the Webkinz collector who has everything. But because these new items are SO special, you’ll need to save up A LOT of KinzCash to afford them.
Here’s a SNEAK PEEK at the 3 NEW items:
1. Webkinz Gown of Wonder – 250,000 KC
2. Webkinz Sceptre of Wonder – 500,000 KC
3. Webkinz Throne of Wonder – 1,000,000 KC
While all these items are expensive, all 3 can also be traded, so you might be able to get one in the Trading Room if you can find yourself a wealthy Webkinz benefactor!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I Love it, Love It, Love It! Absolutely stunning! However, Arte, our boy Webkinz will look silly in the “Gown of Wonder”, even though my 1st Webkinz, a Clydesdale named Greatheart, does wear a kilt. May I suggest an addition to the Gown, Sceptre, and Throne of Wonder, such as “Robes of Wonder” for the King? Respectfully, LadyBeauty
P.S. I must say that each of these items should be sold for at least half the stated price. Even with my vast accumulation of KinzCash over almost 18 years, purchasing the Gown and Throne of Wonder at the stated prices would completely wipe out my existing funds, leaving me unable to purchase new themes, clothing or food for my 334 pets, as well as those to come. Please consider this proposal to offer these wonderful new items at a much more affordable price even for those of us who have built up funds and played for years, so that we don’t completely deplete our reserves to care for our Webkinz. One way to get these is to clean up your dock. I did this with some rapid selling of things I had too much of. As a result, I lost my account for 6 days. I contacted customer service asking why I was given notice that I was terminated for good. I was stunned when I got no answer. I had to figure it out myself. I had been eliminating thousands of birthday cakes that had accumulated over many years thinking I’d have a nice clean dock and lots of KC. When it dawned on me that my ‘sudden wealth’ might have triggered an alert, I wrote back to explain that I’d done nothing ‘illegal’ and to please check my account. Within a day, I was reinstated with an apology. I still have thousands of things I NEED to remove from my dock, but I’m reluctant. I wish “they” would remove them for me, or allow me to do a rapid sell-off.
Oops, I clicked on ‘submit’ too soon. What I’m trying to suggest here is, SELL, sell, sell to get enough to purchase these newest items. And, to the powers that be, HOW can I sell a ton of things without being ‘flagged’ as a cheater? I haven’t ‘sold’ anything in fear of going through the same thing again. I have close to 300 pets, and I sell birthday cakes as soon as I get them. Other things are accumulating, but I resist. A clean dock would allow people to get these items.
Oh!! I was worried about this. I had read comments that said this happened to them on different forums. How stressful. Will this system be fixed since there are curio shop items now with such inflated prices? Please answer, Webkinz staff, so we can know if we are putting our accounts in jeopardy. I have tons of food in my dock I would like to sell to accumulate kinzcash.
Do we know what the max is that we can sell without triggering a blockage or termination?
Thank you for the heads up! I was just thinking about earning KC by doing the same thing. If it’s going to freeze my account though, I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Cleaning out our overstuffed docks should be rewarded, not penalized. Hopefully the staffers will see these comments and advise us all what the best course of action is.
I absolutely love that gown, it is stunning. You guys were not kidding about the hefty price tag. I do have a question. If I sell a bunch of food in my dock from dispensers, farming, Wacky Snack Packs, daily collectible food… etc. will my account be fine if it’s a lot of food items being sold at the W-Shop? I don’t want my account to get flagged simply trying to earn money for a throne. I would rather know and just play more arcade games if it will be an issue.
Yes, on different forums, I read people get flagged by the Webkinz and you can lose your account. I would make sure you get a clear answer before doing so.
These are beautiful. I have a question though? How did we go from “Our Webkinz economy couldn’t possibly handle farming” to, the throne is 1,000,000 KC?? How do people have so much kinz cash? How are they making so much? I’ve been playing for years, and every year the themes get more expensive, especially on Next, the cost is crazy. The Webkinz economy is a wacky system apparently…
I almost have that much i have about 920000. After i sell my medals i will have over 1,000,000. I make my kinz cash by doing the webkinz stadium fashion quick event. One of my webkinz is level 10 in all 3 of the kinz ville academy classes agility. Creativity and style. It took a while to get my webkinz all level 10 but i win more often. Almost all the time i am top 3 sometimes i lose but i win a lot more then i lose. I get more gold open compaction medals then the silver and bronze . It adds up after you have a lot of them. I normally will have classic run doing the computations while i do something else and check on as soon as i see it is done. Though i spent a while making my pet max level. I do not sell food or anything this is just the main way i get my kinz cash.
I’ve done the same and have many competition medals, but reluctant to sell. I earned most of my KC by having all my pets do their daily ‘chores’ every day. I made my first million in about 3 months. I seldom buy…just things I really want. I’m reluctant to sell too much at a time. As a result, over the years, I can buy the new crown items, but rather shy to do so. I lost my account once already. I had to contact customer service and asked them to check my account to get reinstated, as I mentioned above.
I hope these are permanent additions to the shop. Can’t wait to add these to my treasure room
Wow, I hope this means that when Classic is able to have more updates and changes, that you will be adding many more ways to really earn KC. The prices have gone so high but our ways to earn enough to keep up with it have not really increased. My saved KC from many moons ago has done nothing but drain away over the last 10 or so years since the cost of clothing and new themes have sky rocketed over time. We all have real jobs and lives, not enough hours to spend on webkinz trying to scrape together enough to really save.
I have some very generous friends who have spent their kinzcash to help me. I’m sure they are upset by this announcement! So if you want me to send back the waterfalls please reply here. Your friend cardmaker22 PS this announcement does not build a community, it separates one.
Those prices are out of this world….Do you realize how long it takes to earn that much kinzcash? I can see them being $25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 kinzcash but WOW….Good thing I have been playing Webkinz for 19 years!
