Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with an exclusive report! As a special event leading up to Webkinz Day, mayor Cowabelle will be greeting players in the Kinzville Park from April 15 – 22. We reached her for comment and this is what she had to say:
“Webkinz Day is one of my favorite holidays of the year. It’s a time for our community of players to celebrate our common love of Webkinz World and the pets that we care for. I hope everyone will come out to say hi and pick up a special souvenir to mark this occasion! I look forward to meeting everyone soon!”
Here’s how to play:
From April 15 – 22, look for mayor Cowabelle in the Kinzville Park and click on her to get your gift box (limited to 1 gift per day, per account):
Your gift will be added to your Dock. Drag and drop in into your room for the chance to win one of the following prizes including a Mayor Cowabelle Poster, Kinzville Varsity Jacket and a Souvenir Street Sign:

I love when we can get prizes from the mayor! Everytime I put an item in an indoor room that used to only be able to be put in an outdoor room, I think about how excited I am that cowabelle is our mayor! I can’t wait for even more changes to be made to webkinz world this year. One thing that would be amazing, is if we could change our pets names. I made my account in 2007 and back then, I used to not capitalize my pets names. It would be so cool to be able to change our pets names in the future! I really hope we can do that someday!

There was an election, so yeah. Everyone one Webkinz Newz had to choose between like 5 hosts, I think. By majority of vote, Cowabelle was chosen.
Yes! She was elected based off of Webkinz Newz voting. She wasn’t my first choice, but she has turned out to be a wonderful mayor! :D
We all voted for a mayor about a year ago. The people that voted thought that she had the best reasons to become mayor. Were you there for the votes? Hope this helps! ~webkinzpupcat~
YUS! Cowabelle was my favorite, she gave us more room design choices and is a kid just like us!
Yes. The majority of votes were for Cowabelle for Mayor. Everyone who plays Webkinz was allowed to vote for any of the candidates. As a community, we voted and Cowabelle won.
