This year’s BBQ event runs from June 14 to June 28 and this year’s event comes with a unique twist!
As in past years you can collect Ketchup, Mustard, and Relish from a Condiment Caddy floating around Kinzville. You can use the condiments you collect to craft adorable items.
This year’s recipes include a Ketchup Plushie, a French Fries Plushie, and a Hot Dog Basket that you can place in your home. The recipes can be found across the Crafting Table, the Pretty Patterns Sewing Machine, and the Carpenter’s Bench.
Plus, each time you click on the caddy, you also have a chance of earning a stunning Garden Patio BBQ, BBQ Gazebo, or the fun new Hamburger BBQ. The Hamburger BBQ is a stove, and like all Next stoves, you can use it to craft recipes.
The twist? For the duration of the event, you can find a temporary Hamburger BBQ right outside the front door of your starter home. From June 14 to 28, you can use this special Hamburger BBQ to craft the three BBQ recipes.
After June 28, this special Hamburger BBQ will disappear from your yard along with the exclusive recipes. But don’t worry, if you were lucky enough to win the Hamburger BBQ, you will still have it in your Dock or wherever you have placed it in your home.
And as always, if you aren’t able to collect a particular prize, you can try trading for it with your friends in Kinzville Park.

Yay! Way to kick off the summer! While plushies are a nice novelty, and I know that a lot of people collect them in-game, for me, it will always be in-room food. So the first item that I plan to craft is the hot dog and fries basket (hopefully several!) One of my family’s favorite restaurants used to serve their food in baskets just like this, and they had the BEST shakes. Sadly, the one near us burned down. Now we need to go a lot farther, so we go less often. Maybe I can eventually create a Next version of this retro restaurant.
On an unrelated, and yet related note, whose room is featured above with all of the water park theme stuff?? I want to see more! Is it a test account, and the decor not yet available to the WW community? Or did I miss something major? I LOVE dolphins! They are my favorite animal! That kiddie pool/splash pad is right up my alley. I think I see the fin of a whale on the left side of the room. Please let me know where/when/how I can get an ocean of goodies for my own Next room!

Looking forward to this! The french fries and ketchup plushy are cute, would like to get a few of the hot dog basket. Really hoping to get the hamburger BBQ I already have the Garden Patio BBQ and BBQ Gazebo.
The plushies and hot dog baskets are recipes, so as long as you collect enough condiments, you can craft them yourself.
