Hello Kinzville! Today marks another update in Webkinz World and I’m here to talk about what’s new.
Note: Some of our members using Firefox versions 40 and 41 have experienced issues with freezing — these issues are resolved by updating to version 42.0
- Wheel of Wow Prize Update! Spin the Wheel of Wow on Webkinz AND on the Webkinz Mobile app to win great prizes like Tree Sap Soda, a Wild West Dress or a Red Elm Tree!
- The 2015 Room Design Awards are here! Visit WebkinzNewz.com and check out this year’s finalists and winners with Michael Webkinz!
- Friday, November 20th is Deluxe Day! Deluxe Members can log in for a fun-filled day of activities, plus they can visit Today’s Activities to pick up a special prize: a Gold Record Display!
- Spin the Wheel of Yum and the Wheel of Wishes from November 20th to November 25th! Visit Today’s Activities during that time to find out when you can spin these wheels and win some special prizes!
- Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Remember to log in on Thursday, November 26th to receive a 2015 Thanksgiving Basket, filled with prizes you’ll be thankful for!
We’ve also made MANY updates to Webkinz X to get it working better! Here are some of the highlights:

- Additional Pet Requests for Quizzy’s, Employment Office and Kinzville Academy
- Intelligent Dock re-sizing
- New promo sections added to the WShop
- Wheel of Deluxe added to the Arcade
- Fixed Adventure Park quests getting stuck
- Fixed hats on fish logout issue
- Fixed Leapin’ llama arcade game
- Fixed Bunk Bed masking issue
- Fixed Banana Blast Ice Cream Seeds
- Fixed doorway masking issue with larger vehicles
- Stopped floating icons from appearing while actively playing an arcade game
- Fixed mission icons in the Kinzville Park
- Fixed state changing item (e.g., ON/OFF states) functionality
- Removed ice bag graphic from the head of certain pets
- Fixed Super Surprise Box countdown displaying decimals
- Various other minor site bugs (around 200 fixes total)

I like that there are new pet requests, but I’m not too happy about the Quizzy’s one. It asks you to do either one or 10 Learn and Play questions. However, I finished ALL those questions YEARS ago, so I can’t answer those questions. Also, I have some pets that have finished all their classes. I haven’t got a request from one of them to go to school yet, but I’m guessing it will come sooner or later. Will you do something that everyone can actually respond to pet requests, or will we just have to watch our pets get sad because they can’t do these activities?
The Deluxe Day prizes look awesome!!! I’m also super hyped for Thanksgiving on Webkinz. Lots of exciting prizes and activities are happening this month. Is the Deluxe Wheel only n the arcade for a limited time? I really like the new set up!!! Now I can spin it everyday!!!
I have mixed feeling about floaties during games – I can live with either choice. But right now, the floaties are appearing during games they just don’t work if you click on them! I am hoping that the video ads will get fixed – with go back to stationary ads or get them to work so they don’t affect the movement between screens in Webkinz or the playing of the games. (Same for WKN – I used to love to come here but now I try to get in and out as quickly as possible.) I know they are working on the “internal” 3rd party ad block (I get them any way on some accounts not all). I don’t mind the ads- I do mind that they affect the play – and if I were a parent with younger children and wanted them block I’d be royally ticked off and would probably direct my children’s focus to other sites.
I want to congratulate hiphopten, Autumn, and Sarah on winning the second ever room design awards! Congrats guys! :)
I’d like to have floaties stopped while actively doing a job or taking a class too.
My adventure park is still stuck on a quest, boris wants me to dig something up and I dug up every rock and there are no more places to dig and no item. I have not been able to play in the adventure park in months and im Deluxe

Who else thinks the Thanksgiving day box may have a pet turkey in it!?! I sure hope so. My favorite is when Ganz surprises us with a new pet. And thanks for all the fixes! Truly amazing
I’m sorry to see the floaty-clickies removed from games – Playing while waiting for them helped pass the time nicely instead of watching a blank screen :(. Please reconsider this. Also, I have many pets that have graduated Kinzville Academy – will the game still ask those that have?
Thank you for all of the fixes. Not very many of the fixes have fixed a whole lot of my troubles. The train room is still a wreck, no wall paper nor train. My fish ponds are still not working, no fish swimming. None of the camp kinz, beach room pools or any pools are back or working. I am glad some are fixed but it would be nice to have some of these fixed.
