Update #274: What’s New!

 

Hoo-hoo Kinzville! It’s me, your mayor—Dr. Quincy Quack! I’m here again to tell you all about what’s new in Webkinz World today! Let get started, shall we?

 

 

 

 

• We’ve made it easier to find things in your Dock by adding sub-tabs to some sections! If you keep lots of items in your Dock, you’ll now be able to find specific pieces of clothing and decorations much faster! Look for more sub-tabs coming to other sections of the Dock in the near future!

 

 

• The 2017 Fall Clothing Line has arrived in the KinzStyle Outlet! Visit PJ Collie or the mobile WShop to find the latest fall fashion trends for your pets! To make room for the new stock, PJ has also retired Spring Clothing Line

 

 

 

• While you’re visiting the KinzStyle Outlet, you’ll also be able to pick up some Halloween costumes! While there are some returning favorites like the Knight’s costume, the Pink Cowgirl outfit and the Firefighter equipment, there are also some new additions! You’ll definitely want to pick up the terrific Toadstool Fairy outfit and the delightful Banana Split costume! These costumes are only available for a limited time!

 

 

• Speaking of Halloween costumes, watch for the floating Jack O’Lantern to appear from Friday, October 20^th to Tuesday, October 31^st! When you click on it, you’ll receive a random Halloween costume prize! This year’s prize pool includes outfit items from our Haunted Hotel theme and the popular Dragon Costume! You might also find some new prizes from the new Pumpkin King and Pumpkin Queen costume sets!

 

 

• While you’re shopping for Halloween costumes, don’t forget to visit the WShop to collect pieces from our NEW Haunted Castle theme! This fan-voted winner is a haunted version of our rare Medieval theme, adding a terrific terrifying touch to your Halloween room decorating! It’s only available during the month of October, so gather up your KinzCash and start collecting soon!

 

 

• If you missed last year’s Halloween theme and you have the Webkinz mobile app, you’re in luck! The Freaky Forest theme is returning exclusively to the mobile WShop for the month of October! You’ll love collecting this fantastic freaky Halloween theme!

 

 

• There’s also a special surprise in this year’s Halloween challenge! Once you complete all of the tasks, you’ll win a Happy Halloween Sofa—a standout fan favorite piece from one of the other voted-on Halloween room themes!

 

 

• Don’t forget that the ghost returns to the Reading Room in the Clubhouse from Friday, October 20^th through Halloween on Tuesday, October 31^st for our 2017 Trick or Treat event! Click on the ghost to collect 1 of 12 classic candies. The grand prize this year for collecting them all is a Spooky Stained Glass Window!

 

 

• During the month of October you’ll also find our Halloween Party Packs available in the WShop! Just the thing for throwing the perfect petrifying party!

 

 

• DELUXE MEMBERS: Your next Deluxe Monthly Challenge begins on October 1^st! When you complete all of the tasks, you’ll win a Halloween-inspired Haunted Tower!

 

 

• At the start of each month, Deluxe Members receive a gift box containing some special prizes, including a unique piece of clothing that can’t be collected from anywhere else! The special piece of clothing in this October’s gift box is a Grunge Rock Outfit!

 

 

• Also, next month’s Deluxe Day is on Thursday, October 12^th! If you have a Deluxe Membership and you visit the Today’s Activities schedule on that day, you’ll be able to collect October’s prize: a Pilgrim Scarecrow!

 

 

• We’re running a Picnic Trophy Challenge during the weekend of October 14^th to the 16^th! Complete the challenge playing the Picnic arcade game and you’ll win a NEW Picnic Trophy!

 

 

• Watch for our Fall Shopping Spree Event running from Sunday, October 1^st until Monday, October 9^th! When you see the floating SPREE dice, click to win a random piece of fall clothing from one of our earlier seasonal collections!

 

 

• Another new item from our WShop Design Contest has been released! Now you can pick up a Mega Modern Fireplace Room Divider (submitted by JRZ2000) to complete your pet’s marvelous modern room!

 

 

• If you love spinning wheels and winning, you’ll be excited to learn that we’ve once again updated the prizes on the Wheel of Wow for web and mobile, along with the Wheel of Deluxe!
