Hoo-hoo Kinzville! It’s me, your mayor—Dr. Quincy Quack! It’s our first update for 2018 and I’m here again to tell you all about what’s new in Webkinz World today! Let get started, shall we?
- The first half of the 2018 Winter Clothing Line has arrived in the KinzStyle Outlet! Get the latest in warm and wonderful winter fashions for your pets! The second half of the Winter Clothing Line will be arriving on February 14th. This also means that the 2017 Summer Clothing Line has officially been retired from the KinzStyle Outlet.
- Watch for the Home Before Dark Trophy Challenge, running from Monday, January 22nd until Friday, January 26th! If you complete all of the tasks during that time, you’ll be awarded with a Home Before Dark Trophy!
- A new Valentine’s Collection Event arrives on February 1st! Visit the Map of Kinzville each day during the month of February to collect Valentines from your friends and earn some lovely prizes along the way!
- Cinnamon the hamster returns to the Kinzville Park in February! Get a preview starting on February 1st. You can collect a whole new set of chocolates from her from February 7th until February 14th. Once you collect all 6 chocolates, you’ll win a Sweetheart Bookshelf! If you miss out on any chocolates, you’ll still be able to pick them up for eStore Points until February 28th.
- Deluxe Members also have their own monthly challenge starting on February 1st! Once they complete all of the tasks, they’ll win a Heartfelt Piano!
- Speaking of Deluxe, our next Deluxe Day arrives on Saturday, January 27th! On that day, Deluxe Members can visit Today’s Activities to get a special prize: a Modern Stone Fireplace! The Deluxe Day for February arrives on Sunday, February 11th, when Deluxe Members can get a Snowy Cabin!
- Deluxe Members also receive a monthly gift box containing their choice of an item from the NEW Cozy Condo room theme, along with a special piece of clothing that can’t be found anywhere else! February’s Deluxe clothing item is a Lovely Toque!
- Do you and your pets really LOVE Valentine’s Day? Visit the WShop and pick up one of our Valentine’s Day Party Packs! They’re only available starting on February 1st for a limited time!
- If you love spinning wheels and winning, you’ll be excited to learn that we’ve once again updated the prizes on the Wheel of Wow for web and mobile, along with the Wheel of Deluxe!

Here is a suggestion for a really great update you could do. There’s something I really wanted to ask. I know you’re really busy and doing the best you can . . . but for the next project you work on, could you please let us be able to rename our Webkinz????? I named some of mine when I was really young, and to be quite honest the names are just ridiculous and I wish I could change them. I know I’m not the only one who wishes they could rename their Webkinz. I would be really grateful if you could allow us to do this and add this feature to Webkinz World! I think everyone would love it! Thanks.
Oh yes! that would be a pretty neat thing to do since I also have some silly names that I gave to my pets too :)

YES please! I would love it if they let you rename your Webkinz!! Like lots of people, I have named some of my pets things I now regret when I was younger, and I’ve also made some typos in some of their names. It would be awesome if Ganz would allow us to rename them! :D
I actually would like that too because I need to make some corrections: when adopting my lil Kinz pink and black poodles I accidentally mixed up the tags and switched their names. Also I made a typo I did not catch until after I had adopted my hedgehog. ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫

It would be nice if we could do rename our pets, it could even be an option for a week. I would like it if Ms. Birdy had an area where you could test name ideas without having to do the whole code process. Pittiesrule
Thanks for taking MORE features away not like it doesn’t make you look greedy or anything. I can only hope the things that I PAID FOR (woodland wonders, zumwhere) don’t suddenly get taken away because I’m a ‘freebie’ (in massive quotes given I’m still getting pets)
yeah… I was kind of shocked that they took zumwhere since I was just playing it yesterday and I thought as long as you had zum buddies it would unlock for you. kind of like how you would unlock the world for the mazin hamsters once you adopted one …however that whole area also got taken away:(
I’m shocked they took zumwhere too… Now I have to find what I can even trade my zummies for, since I’ll probably never get in again. This all makes me upset and makes me want to stop playing with the more changes coming. Taking areas away from players does NOT make me want to purchase a Deluxe membership. Quite the opposite.
Why all the Please wait? This makes the academy impossible to play.
The new piano matches the harp from last year! I love the new snowy cabin and fireplace. The new sofa looks like it might go well with the Webkinz Cares furniture.
I’m so happy that the designers have created a matching piano! I love the harp from last year, but I haven’t used it yet because I can’t find other room items that match well. I’m also hoping that the valentine’s collection event pieces match the Webkinz Cares furniture too. *fingers crossed!* The snowy cabin and modern stone fireplace will be welcome additions to the game. And that toque looks like there is a fringe of hair attached. If so, it will be a first for my webbies, and whoever wears it will sit in my WW salon, looking like they are ready for a haircut. I can hardly wait to see the sweetheart bookshelf! But for now, I’m going to run right over to the KinzStyle Outlet to check out the new clothes! Thanks Mayor Dr. Quack!!
Beckinz, didn’t you do the Peek-A-News that same month? I believe the prizes were Webkinz Cares prizes and I was able to create a whole room focused around the Harp and those items. Also, if you really want to you can use the Heart candy chairs from the curio shop, Sweet Treats theme and pieces from the Mobile salon theme. Some of those are beautifully interchangeable.
Thank you for the update but it is really sad that even more features now became Deluxe. Almost entire Magic Forest is now Deluxe: Woodland Wonders, Fairy Falls, and Magic Mire. It feels like regular members are not appreciated at all.
I feel the same way. I’m thinking about upgrading to deluxe for one month just to get the benefits.
It is sad. One would think that buying a $20 pet is enough to play.
Oh, Magic Mire and Woodland Wonders have stopped working…I hope they get fixed eventually.
Now WAIT a minute!!! Now I can’t play Magic Mire or anything anymore because it’s Deluxe only now!! What’s up with that?!
I’m pretty sure that the Magical Forest stuff has been a Deluxe thing for a while, but since they had that Deluxe for a day thing sometime last year, it allowed us access to it for a year. I assume that our year expired. At least, that’s what I think happened..
Actually, after my Deluxe ran out it allowed me to access the Magical Forest for about 2 years. Now it stopped. =(
aw yea! cant wait to get the modern stone firplace and snowy cabin. a nice addition to any snowy outside theme,such as countryside xmas.
