Update #370: What’s New!

 

UPDATE: The Magic W event ended early on Webkinz Classic, but FIND OUT how you can still claim the Sweetheart Flower Shop grand prize at Webkinz Newz on Valentine’s Day!

 

Hey there! It’s time for more fun and adventure, Kinzville! Here’s a look at what we’ve got planned for the next few weeks:

 

 

• BIG NEWS! I’ve now added the NEW Art Deco room theme to the pool of rare items in the Curio Shop! You can see my earlier sneak peek of this cool new theme here. Remember, since each day’s rare items are populated randomly, it may still take some time for new items to appear. Good luck collecting them all!

 

 

• Valentine’s Day arrives on Friday, February 14th! Log in to Webkinz Classic on any platform that day to receive this year’s adorable gift: A Lovely Light Display!

 

 

• We’re running another DIY Design event From Saturday, February 15th, until Sunday, February 23rd, and this time we’ve added a new DIY item, along with a new DIY dye! During the event, look for the floating bottle of dye, and then click to collect a random color, including the NEW DIY Red Dye! Use it together with a DIY Design Ticket in the KinzStyle Outlet’s Clothing Machine (desktop app only) plus DIY furniture and decorations to create cool new DIY designs! Check out the DIY section in the WShop for the NEW DIY Dining Chair that can be colored with all previously released furniture dyes!

 

 

• February’s Deluxe Day is this Sunday, February 16th! When the day arrives, just visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the Webkinz Classic desktop app to get your special prize for February: A Snowman Ice Rink!

 

 

• Our next Player Appreciation Day for Webkinz Classic AND Webkinz Next is next Monday, February 17th! Log in to your Webkinz Classic account on any platform to automatically receive your special prize for February: A Blue Winter Hat! On Webkinz Next, look for the prize notification in your Message Center at the top right corner of the screen. PLEASE NOTE, this month’s prize CAN be traded, sent, and sold on Webkinz Classic!

 

 

• I will be hosting my FIRST Meet the Mayor event at the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park (desktop app only) from Saturday, February 22nd until Saturday, March 1st! Come by to visit and each day I’ll be giving out a gift box containing a random prize, including a Kinzville Varsity Cap, Mayor Arte Newspaper Clipping, Kinzville Mayor Souvenir Mugs, or a Mayor Arte Sidewalk Tile!

 

 

• We’re running another Wacky Weekend event with WackyER Zingoz from Friday, February 28th until Sunday, March 2nd! During those dates, if you score 11,500 points or higher player WackyER Zingoz, you’ll win a random prize, including a Wacky Wig, a Wacky Rug, a Zangoz Tropical Plant, or a NEW WackyER Zingoz Poster!

 

 

• We’re also running another Wishing Well 2 Challenge from Monday, March 3rd until Sunday, March 23rd! Complete all the tasks before time runs out and you’ll win a Secret Dreams Diary, along with a NEW Wishing Well for your pet’s room!

 

 

• We are running another Webkinz Newz Week event from Monday, March 3rd until Sunday, March 9th! Visit the Webkinz Newz Room at the Webkinz Classic Clubhouse and click on Ella McWoof each day to receive a random prize, including an On Air Sign, a Signed Ella McWoof Action Figure, a Portable Camera, or a Roving Reporter Headset! Also, each day during Webkinz Newz week, you can find a different Webkinz NPC at the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park (desktop app only). Each NPC will be handing out a different prize. Check back with Webkinz Newz on Thursday, February 27th for a sneak peek at this event with the schedule of NPCs and prizes!

 

 

• The Deluxe monthly challenge for March starts on SATURDAY, March 1ST! If Deluxe Members complete all the tasks before the end of March, they’ll receive Poncho’s Sombrero, along with a NEW Poncho’s Taco Truck Fridge!

 

 

• The March WShop challenge also starts on SATURDAY, MARCH 1ST! If you complete all the tasks before the end of March, you’ll receive a Hotel Staff Dress, along with a NEW Hotel Cleaning Cart!

 

 

• The Magic is back! Starting on Monday, March 10th, and running until Wednesday, March 19th, look for the floating Magic W to appear on your screen. Click on it to collect a variety of returning St. Patrick’s Day-themed prizes, including a small chance of receiving the grand prize: a Clover Hill Hideaway!

 

 

• The Leprechaun Chase has once again moved to the Kinzville Park! From Tuesday, March 11th, until St. Patrick’s Day on Monday, March 17th, look around the Kinzville Park (only available on the Webkinz Classic desktop app) for the Leprechaun to appear! When you see him, click on him to receive a different numbered leprechaun garden statue each day!

 

 

• In March, Deluxe Members will receive their monthly gift box containing a Deluxe Medallion Gift Box filled with pet medallions, the Farm Fresh Theme Gift Box which you can use to choose an item from the Farm Fresh room theme, a Wish Token—and of course—the month’s special clothing prize: a Good Luck Beret!

 

 

• If your pet really wants something special, make sure you drop by the Kinzville Park (desktop app only) on Saturday, February 15th and Sunday, February 16th! Look for the Lovely Drops Candy Tree in the park and then click on it to collect some Lovely Candy Drops each day! If your pet still craves this tasty treat, you can pick up your own Lovely Drops Candy Tree at the Ganz eStore!

 

 

• We are also running another Bake Sale 2 event in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park starting TODAY. The Bake Sale 2 Stand will continue to appear whenever there are no other events on in the Kinzville Park until March 11th! Visit the Kinzville Park each day to look for the stand each day and if you see it, click on it to get your gift box. Inside you’ll find a random baked good which you can either feed your pet, or you can use it in a stove recipe to create a special prize! You can find all the recipes in the Bake Sale 2 Cookbook, available in the “Books” section of the WShop, under “Fun Stuff”.

 

 

• We’ve updated our prize wheels with a second chance at some returning prizes. We’ve also updated the previous prizes on Balloon Darts and Token Balloon Darts!

 

 

 

 

 

Well, that’s sounds like LOTS of fun– lots to do, and lots to collect! Soon, I’ll also have some exciting news about my NEW rare room theme!
