Hey there! It’s time for more fun and adventure, Kinzville! Here’s a look at what we’ve got planned for the next few weeks:
- We’ve added 3 previous prizes to the SPREE Mall to give players a second chance to acquire them! The next time you complete a trip around the board and arrive at the SPREE Mall, you can use your Mall Credits to buy a Weathered Shed Wallpaper, a Camp Tent, or a Watering Can Bouquet!
- Sheldon has added 3 new items to his Souvenir Shack! If you’re a Deluxe Member, when you travel to Vacation Island, visit Sheldon’s Souvenir Shack to see if he has some Sea Creature Balloons, or a Submarine Wall Sticker, or a Crystal Sea Wetsuit in stock! Sheldon changes his stock every day, so make sure you visit often!
- With Halloween right around the corner, you’ll also find Halloween Costumes for sale in the desktop app’s KinzStyle Outlet, and in the WShop’s Mobile Zone on the mobile app. This year, you can dress your pet up as a Sweet Tooth Witch, a Park Ranger, or pick up pieces of a Steampunk outfit! You’ll also find a wide selection of costumes from Halloweens past that you can pick up for your pet! All costumes will be available until November 18th!
- Speaking of Halloween, our NEW fan-designed Halloween Party room theme will arrive in the WShop on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1ST! This theme was designed by player qrax, this year’s winner of our Halloween design contest! Make sure you scare up all the items before the end of Halloween, October 31st!
- From September 26th – 28th, look for Wacky Corn on the Cob floating across your screen on platform of Webkinz Classic, and click on it to have it added to your Dock. Each time you feed it to your pet, there’s a chance you’ll receive some Wacky Popcorn Tree Seeds!
- We are running a NEW WShop Challenge starting on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH! If you complete all the tasks before the end of SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19TH (midnight, EST), you’ll receive some Pink Hydrangeas, along with a NEW Pretty in Pink Balcony!
- The Deluxe monthly challenge for October starts this WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1ST! If Deluxe Members complete all the tasks before the end of October, they’ll receive a Neo Gothic Gown, along with a NEW Neo Gothic Bunk Bed!
- We are also running a NEW Webkinz Host challenge, this time with Amanda Panda, starting on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1ST! If you complete all the tasks before the end of October, you’ll receive an Amanda Panda’s Spicy Chocolate Cake, along with a NEW Amanda Panda Wardrobe!
- In October, Deluxe Members will receive their monthly gift box containing a Deluxe Medallion Gift Box filled with pet medallions, the Farm Fresh Theme Gift Box which you can use to choose an item from the Farm Fresh room theme, a Wish Token—and of course—the month’s special clothing prize: a Candy Belt!
- We’re running another Fall Shopping Spree event from Wednesday, October 1st, until Thursday, October 9th! Just log in to your Webkinz Classic account on either the desktop app or the mobile app to receive a daily gift of fashionable fall clothing from past collections!
- Come meet me at the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park for my latest Meet the Mayor event! From Monday, October 6th, until Monday, October 13th I’ll be giving out a gift box containing a random prize! Inside you might find an Arte Marble Bust, a Neon Curio Shop Sign, a Cave Creature Plushy, or a Curio Shop Cash Register! Hope you find the prize you’re looking for!
- Our next Webkinz Days of Play event runs from Friday, October 10th until Saturday, October 18th. Log in each day during that time to receive some extra plays for your favorite Magical Forest activities.
- Our next Player Appreciation Day for Webkinz Classic AND Webkinz Next is on Wednesday, October 15th! Log in to your Webkinz Classic account on the desktop app and visit the Today’s Activities schedule to get your special prize for October: A Spooky Sound Effects Boombox! On Webkinz Next, look for the prize notification in your Message Center at the top right corner of the screen. PLEASE NOTE, this month’s prize CANNOT be traded, sent, and sold on Webkinz Classic.
- October’s Deluxe Day is on Thursday, October 16th! When the day arrives, just visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the Webkinz Classic desktop app to get your special prize for October: A Twisted Tower!
- We’re running a Wacky Weekend / WackyER Zingoz Challenge from Friday, October 17th, until Sunday, October 19th! If you complete all the task before the end of the weekend, you’ll win some NEW Wacky Jungle Wallpaper and Flooring!
- We are also running a NEW Scrambled Challenge on the Webkinz Classic desktop app starting on Monday, October 20th! If you complete all the tasks before the end of November 9th (midnight, EST), you’ll receive a Scrambled Omelet, along with a NEW Scrambled Breakfast Buffet Fridge!
- The ghost is returning to the Webkinz Classic Clubhouse! Visit the Haunted Reading Room (desktop app only) starting Monday, October 20th, until midnight (EST) Friday, October 31st, and wait for him to appear. When he does, click on him to collect some classic candies! Once you’ve collected all 12 candies, you’ll unlock this year’s spook-tacular prize: a Haunted Treehouse!
- We’re running our second Halloween Bake Sale Event from Tuesday, October 21st, until Friday, October 31st! Collect Halloween themed cupcakes by clicking on the Halloween Bake Sale Gift Box when it floats across your screen. Then use the recipes in the Halloween Bake Sale Cookbook (available in the WShop under “Fun Stuff” > “Books”) to create some previously released Halloween prizes, including updated recipes for the Wizard Broomstick, the Spooky Sleeping Bag, and some NEW Wilted Black Roses! Also during the event, visit the Today’s Activities on the Webkinz Classic desktop app to spin the Wheel of Yum each day to collect even MORE cupcakes!
- If you’ve adopted a Candy Corn Bear from the Ganz eStore, collect a FREE Candy Corn Castle ?? Box from the Today’s Activities schedule (desktop app only) on Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th! Inside you’ll find something sweet from the Ganz eStore’s Candy Corn Castle theme!
- If your pet really wants something special, make sure you drop by the Kinzville Park (desktop app only) on Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th! Look for the Candy Corn Taffy Tree in the park and then click on it to collect a Candy Corn Taffy Roll each day! If your pet still craves this tasty treat, you can pick up your own Candy Corn Taffy Tree at the Ganz eStore!
- We are also running another Bake Sale 1 event in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park starting TODAY. The Bake Sale 1 Stand will continue to appear whenever there are no other events on in the Kinzville Park until October 21st! Visit the Kinzville Park each day to look for the stand each day and if you see it, click on it to get your gift box. Inside you’ll find a random baked good which you can either feed your pet, or you can use it in a stove recipe to create a special prize! You can find all the recipes in the Bake Sale 1 Cookbook, available in the “Books” section of the WShop, under “Fun Stuff”.
- We’ve updated our prize wheels with a second chance at some returning prizes. We’ve also updated the previous prizes on Balloon Darts and Token Balloon Darts!
Well, that’s sounds like LOTS of fun– lots to do, and lots to collect!

Hey webkinz team, I know that so far you’ve already gotten a lot of suggestions on new features for the upcoming web browser for Classic. I know it’s probably overwhelming, but I have another suggestion to add that I think would alleviate a lot of people’s frustration. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the Classic curio shop change stock every 3 hours, like Next, to give people a better chance of getting the rares. It’s extremely discouraging for some players to be checking as often as they possibly can, and still not having much luck with getting the rares. I know that there are updates on social media sometimes when the rares appear, but similarly, people aren’t going to be checking social media every hour of the day. So, I hope this is something that you might consider. Checking in 12+ times a day is really quite a lot. I know I’m not alone in this because I’ve seen a lot of similar frustrations over the years about how tough it is to collect the rares. I know that’s why they’re called “rare” items in the first place but I and a lot of people really think it’s perhaps a little TOO difficult to collect them.
It’s also pretty difficult on Next, despite the 3 hour stock change. I was diligently hunting for a few months on Next and did have more success there than on Classic. But that required me to be checking Next like 6 times a day, every day. Then I kind of gave up because 6 times a day is a lot and I still kept missing some of the items. All this to say, I really hope something could be done to make things a little bit easier to collect the rares. Most people aren’t going to be glued to their computers 24/7 and that’s pretty much the only way to be sure you don’t miss the rares.
I also had another idea of blocking off half the day so that rares wouldn’t appear during then. So for example, having the rares only appear from 12 noon to midnight or something like that, so people wouldn’t have to worry about checking from midnight to noon.
Or even a shorter window like 3pm-9pm.
