Webkinz Next Fashion Show

Strike a pose!

There’s a brand new feature in Webkinz Next and it has arrived fashionably right on time!

Introducing, the Webkinz Next Fashion Show, a social mini-event that brings the entire community together for style, creativity, and community.

Fashion Shows happen every Wednesday and Saturday at different times throughout the day.

When a show is live, you’ll spot the Fashion Show icon right on your Kinzville Map.

You can also simply head to the fashion tent in Kinzville to join the fun.

Once inside the Fashion Tent, your pet can enter the black tent beside the runway to join the line.

Once it’s their turn, your pet will walk the runway wearing whatever fabulous outfit they are wearing. You can use the in-game camera to take their picture while they strut their stuff!

Every pet that walks the runway is awarded a Model Thank You Giftbag. Only pets who successfully walk the runway will be awarded a giftbag.

Each Model Thank You Giftbag contains exclusive materials that can be used to sew special couture fashions.

Couture fashions can only be sewn on the sewing machines inside the Fashion Show tent. There are currently 6 couture fashions to collect!

Fashion Shows are also fun to enjoy as spectators. Find an empty seat, send cheers and chat with fellow fans while watching the lineup of stylish pets strut by. It’s a relaxed, friendly community space where everyone is welcome.

Whether you’re crafting your next couture masterpiece or attending to uplift fellow fashionistas, the Webkinz Next Fashion Show is a delightful way to spend time in Kinzville.

Will you strut, cheer or both? Tell us in the comments!

I received a gift of a few each of the new outfit ingredients one day when I entered my room at home. Nice gift! Does anyone know why this happened? Maybe you, Sally?

I like this new feature, but I saw lots of valuable feedback in the chat during the demo on Thanksgiving, and the first couple official runs the following Saturday. We like the new feature and concept of getting a special prize pack to make exclusive clothing, but many people who joined the queue later did not receive their gift bags. As much as I like this feature, there are other parts of the game I feel like there should be work on. One example is the Kinzville Town Hall, that’s displayed the message “Feature Coming Soon” the past couple of years. I also remember a bit ago, there was a poll when you logged in that asked which new vacation spot of the options you would like to see. I enjoy the tropical island, but I think it would be a good feature to add another place to vacation. I would also like to see a reverse feature of one we have already, where you could send classic items up to next. I feel like many next players could benefit from that as well.

I also meant to say that we thought there should be multiple runways on the fashion show, with each runway having a queue limit, so there’s not 100 people waiting in the line (has happened a couple of times). I feel like this limit should be no more than 40.

Maybe I will try it again when it isn’t so new. The lines are just so long.

I was there today and had so much fun. There was a huge sense of community.

This is cute! I’ll have to set an alarm so I can participate!

I enjoyed the runway experience on one account Saturday night. The line was long, but I stuck it out. The hype and cheers were a hoot. It was fun! I will wait a little bit until I have more time and the buzz dies down so hopefully the lines will be shorter. Thank you for creating another way to draw our community together!

I tried this Saturday all three times. I had to leave because it was freezing and glitching. Lines were too long; 100 pets. Finally at the last time I made it through and didn’t get the bad. I am guessing because it glitched and cut short my walk. I walked to the end of the runway and then was done with no walk back. I hope this is fixed. I really do think it is a cute thing. Well done with the poses.

    This takes way too long

I walked the runway twice last Saturday. I only had to wait through 15 or so in line but I left the line when there was 29 waiting. I received two bags. After checking out the couture fashions I can see it will take quite a while to collect the materials to make them. I will probably make the activity a thing after the Holidays. I’m way too busy now with Christmas. It looks like a fun activity especially if they add new fashions to create from time to time.
