I am pleased to present the finalists for the Webkinz Room Design Awards! There are 27 players in the group and they have each been featured in one of my room design posts since the last Room Design Awards were held in November. It’s a large group, but 10 of the finalists will win a Webkinz Room Design Trophy.
Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- 5 winners will be decided by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. On Wednesday, February 27th, players can vote for their favorite design and the 5 designers who receive the most votes will be awarded a Room Design Trophy.
- 4 winners will be chosen by the Webkinz Newz Team. Sally, Mandy, Steve and I will each choose our favorite room design and the designers will be awarded a Room Design Trophy
- The 10th winner will be chosen by the Webkinz staff, here at Webkinz headquarters
Now it’s time to meet the finalists… Please take time to look over each of their designs. You’ll only be able to vote for one on February 27th:
Congratulations finalists! I hope that each of you are excited to be part of the Room Design Awards. You are all excellent room designers and should be very proud to be featured in the finals.
Remember, voting begins on Wednesday, February 27th, right here on Webkinz Newz. You only have until Thursday, February 28th (midnight EST), to vote for your favorite design and I will be posting the results on Friday, March 1st.
You can only vote once, but every vote counts, so make sure you tell your friends and family to visit Webkinz Newz on February, 27th, to be part of Webkinz history and participate in the Webkinz Room Design Awards!
I like that there are some with no deluxe/estore items. I wish we had more things in the wshop available for everyone to use to decorate.
Congrats to everyone, all well deserved! Good luck with the competition and keep up the amazing work! :D
I like the snow room.
Beautiful designs everyone. It’s going to be very difficult to choose just one!
Great rooms! I can’t pick my favorite between the National Library, bookstore, and KinzKennel!
Spring Garden is my favourite. I also really love Duck Pond.
Ooooh, nice line-up here, Michael! Good luck to all of you finalists, I would consider yourselves already winners for being finalists!!! Luv all the designs and the small/medium rooms as well. Wish you all could get the trophy… :D
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited that Rapunzel’s room made it into the finals. Thank you so much Michael Webkinz. Congrats to all the other finalists. I’m thrilled because I’ve been submitting rooms since 2015. Several of them have been shown in weekly room design posts on Webkinz Newz but this is my first time ever making it into the finals. When I first saw Rapunzel’s room listed as a finalist I had to do a double take because I was so surprised.
I have seen so many of your rooms high-lighted, DJH89. You are very skilled in decorating your rooms. I really like the fact that your room tells a story and generally shows you had fun with it. Good Luck, the room is very cute.
PennyOpera thank you so much for your positive feedback!!!!!!!
Wow! Thank you, Michael, for choosing the Webkinz National Library. I am in fantastic designing company. Congratulations to all of the finalists!! I find so much inspiration from all the super talented players on Webkinz.
Haiku48, your rooms are fascinating! It reminds me of the National Treasure. I can see the mystery and intrigue. Which of your Kinz is the Treasure Hunter or is it Treasure Protector?
Aww, thank you PennyOpera! I have a webkinz named Mystery and Hamlet is the Elephant in the library, could make for a great play.
Congratulations to all of the finalists! I love them all, especially the small rooms. If I had to pick just one, it would be the KinzKennel.
Your’s is really cool too, Larzy. Congrats on being one of the finalists.
Thank you.
Larzy, your rooms are always so nice. Last time it was the underwater Live Coral Reef. It reminded me of Finding Nemo. I think this one, Survivor Webkinz, is very well done! I don’t think anyone has used this concept, yet. It’s fresh and it’s really good use of all prize items and using that Halloween log as Tribal Council meeting place, the Tiki Torch in the alcove as the extinguished light, you nailed it! This room is all kinds of awesome!
Thank you for the kind words, Penny.
