Webkinz Update #221

Today is the release of a new Webkinz update! Here’s what’s new for you and your pets to check out:

Summer is coming to a close, but that only means upcoming events in Webkinz! Starting on Sep. 1 is the Acorn Collection, with beautiful new prizes.

There’s a new host in town and her name is Daisy Doe! You will find her walking around town handing out free samples of her organic olive bread, yum. Watch her story unfold in the coming weeks.


As always, there’s a new Deluxe Monthly Challenge for September and it’s all about school! Work your way through classes at the famous Kinzville Academy, but make sure you still have fun at the Games Arcade and earn some great prizes included a new Academy-themed Swing Set!

    I have a question. Someone please answer. When I adopt a new pet onto my Webkinz account, it shows that I only have 300 items in my dock. When I log out and log back in, then my dock has the correct number of items. Why does this happen?

    Hi Ganz, I was wondering why hasn’t my glitch been fixed? I asked Customer Service to fix a Clothes problem on my Majestic Tiger (it showed her wearing it but didn’t appear on her body) and I got a reply back but it wasn’t fix. Please responded. And I got my piece of food from the new chef and it said something about a restaurant?

            this same thing has happened to me with my dachshund , he won’t appear in the clothes I put on him but it says he does , I haven’t contacted ganz about it but I think I will .

            This was supposed to be fixed with today’s maintenance and you must clear your cache and cookies to see if it is fixed.

            me, too. i put the neon tutu on my midnight monster (so funny!), but it only shows up in the adventure park and not at home. i always clear my cache bc i need the space, so that’s not the issue. i had another pet do the same thing, but most of my pets’s clothes are working fine. kinda weird.

            Hi Gennelle: We have also tried clearing the cache (several times) and the clothes still don’t appear. I have contacted Ganz about this, but get the response about clearing the cache as well. Thank you. :)

        I have this same issue on about half of my pets. I have cleared the cache and still having the issue. It has been that way for a long time now.

        I also have the same issue. My white terrier is shown wearing clothes in “dress” but they don’t appear on her body either.

        Ummm. . . what does “cache” mean? I know a lot about computers, I even know how to make a DVD, but I don’t know what “cache” means. It only rings a tiny, broken, bell.

          It’s basically your internet browser’s website history. When you go to certain websites, they install “cookies” on your browser, which make the website load faster the next time. If you clear your cache (which you can do by going to your browser’s History tab), this clears the old information and makes way for the new update. It only takes about a minute.

        I also had a problem dressing a pet, and today it is not fixed and I also cannot dress a new pet! I did clear my cache and logged in and out and it has not been fixed. Thanks for answering.

        Hi Gennelle! I am so glad to see I am not the only one with this issue. I have over 600 pets and this is NOT the only pet experience this naked issue, as i have discovered at least a few more but cannot check on all my pets everyday if I am to have the real (super busy) life I do have, and clearing the cache is definitely not the fix, as I do that every time I log on. Please realize this IS a real issue. I have reported it a couple of times in the comments section of the news, assuming it is not specific to my account at all. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Some pets are in fact meant to be naked (my mystical crab, e.g.) but others not so much! TY :)

          Hi there. This issue is unfolding as we go, as different pets are reported to be missing clothes. Once it’s reported to us, we make a fix and then the fix will go live in our next update (the next one is in 3 weeks). If you email our CS team with the pets whose clothes are still missing AFTER you’ve cleared your cache etc, that is a huge help to our tech team! Thank you!

            They may take up to a week to reply, but they will get back to you for sure.

            Hi Gennelle, Sorry I was misleading I meant to say was, they did contact me back saying “The issue has been resolved” but the problem wasn’t fix. But after re-reading the e-mail it says to contact them again (sorry). See you around W.W.

            Thank you Gennelle for your reply and advice :) I will start making a list and let them know. As I best understand it, this will be resolved in the next fix in three weeks for all the pets about whom they are notified…Another glitch I have noticed for awhile is that pets will move to an unintended room (as though the room map were open and you had clicked that different room) when you are trying to enter a new room. I have not reported it, as I just wait and try again, but I guess tech needs to know… Thanks again so much!!

      I have asked and asked for 1 GLITCH to be repaired !!! Fairy Falls- Magic Mire, I got the soccer ball long ago it says I did but site wont release prize . It says I didnt get soccer ball.:( :( I asked costomer service in ESTORE, WEBKINZ NEWZ , WEBKINZ SITE and the suggestion area :( NO HELP !!! It’s been going on a year so far !! Next GANZ Cheektowaga home office . Its in NY AND local call for me !!!!

        Have you tried emailing Customer Support directly at webkinzsupport@ganz.com? If you do, give them a few days to reply and they can help you out.

          um Gennelle I go to the Kinzchat plush park every day and “swag god the boss” keeps showing up everyday even tho I keep banning him because he uses bad language :( he keeps showing up the next day!

            The Moderation Team is aware of this player. Keep reporting him and they’ll review the chat and decide on the length of a ban.

            I kind of know ”swag god the boss” aka mysterious15 and he has almost 20 accounts just for kinzchat PLUS. so if you ban him he just comes back on another account.

            he went on webkinz Tuesday to ask about a spider (brown recluse) and hasn’t been on since August 26th. so no he hasn’t been on today.

          when i contacted Ganz at that email address about the code for my new petunia hamster, all i got back was a link to the FAQs and no help. i’m pretty angry bc i’m getting an error message saying the code is locked bc my purchase was “not completed” even though the eStore shows it as complete and they’ve taken my 3,000 eStore points. i’m sure this has to do with hackers, but i did pay for my code and i want my hamster. (i apologize, Gennelle! i know it’s not your fault at all and i’m sure you’re tired of hearing all of this, but it seems to be impossible to get through to anyone else at Ganz.)

      I’m having the same issue with my white terrier although she seems to be the only affected.

      I think this may have been very recently fixed, because I just cleared cache today and now the clothes show up on the white terrier on my daughter’s account (The pet she had this problem with).

      So that happened to you to?My majestic tiger’s clothes don’t show either!!! I hope they can fix it!!! Does anyone know why it only happens to majestic tigers?!
