Webkinz Votes 2014: Ella Interviews Tabby Von Meow

Hello Webkinz Newz readers, it’s Ella McWoof, your official “Webkinz Votes 2014” reporter.

Tabby Von Meow, manager of the Employment Office here in Kinzville, made history when she became the first candidate to join the race against Daisy Doe for the position of Mayor of Kinzville. From the beginning, Tabby’s campaign has been focused on jobs and business in Kinzville: if elected, she promises to reduce the amount of time between attempting jobs at the Employment Office. However, she also made it clear that she’d have to reduce the amount of KinzCash earned per job.

Today I’m in studio for a special one-on-one interview with “Webkinz Votes 2014” mayoral candidate, Tabby Von Meow!”

Ella: Thanks for being with me today, Tabby!

Tabby: I’m glad to be here!

Ella: Tabby, you’ve been placing quite strongly in the polls since you announced your candidacy. You’re often in second or third place. Why do you think this is?

Tabby: Well, Ella, I believe that voters really want someone who KNOWS Kinzville. Someone who’s lived here a long time and has lots of experience running her own business. I’ve been a part of Kinzville’s community for so long that I really know what it needs: more opportunity for folks who want to make more KinzCash. Allowing them to attempt more jobs is the key to financial freedom!

Ella: Some of our readers have pointed out that it could potentially be harder to make KinzCash if you’re elected, as you’ve said that you’ll reduce payouts for jobs. What do you say to that?

Tabby: I believe in the idea that more jobs equal more opportunity. While the actual payments may be less, voters will be able to progress through job levels in HALF the time (I propose cutting the delay from 8 hours to 4 hours) — thus mastering jobs all the more quickly (Editor’s note: Each job at the Employment Office has 3 levels, which you attain by successfully completing the job more often). Also, many Challenges require attempts at certain jobs: with the ability to do them more frequently, Challenges will be a breeze!

Ella: How much less will workers earn?

Tabby: It will be 20% less than what is currently posted.

Ella: What did you think of Daisy Doe and Mr. Moo’s new partnership?

Tabby: I was a bit surprised! I believed that Daisy wanted to put Mr. Moo out of business. I’m glad that they’re working together because, well, I love ice cream. But to me, one new venture doesn’t mean that Daisy is fully committed to working WITH the Kinzville community and not AGAINST it. She’ll need a proven track record to convince me.

Ella: Do you have anything else you’d like to say to voters?

Tabby: I’d like to congratulate each of my fellow candidates for running in this historic election. I’d also like to encourage voters to vote with their heads and not with their hearts: there are so many great ideas out there that it’s important to evaluate each one carefully!
