Snow Days Challenge (January 4–14)
We’ve added a new challenge between Seasons! Complete the four-part Snow Days Challenge to win a Secret Snow Castle. Be sure to finish by January 14 to make way for the upcoming Season.
Emerald City Season (January 15–February 18)
We’ve got a wicked cool Season in the works, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Collect wonderful rewards with the Emerald City Season. Play for free or with a Season Pass. Either way, it’s a merry ol’ time.
Winterfest (January 19–February 1)
Winterfest is back with five brand-new prizes and six returning favorites. Catch snowflakes as they float across your screen to collect all 11 cozy rewards.

Good observation. They said something last year about getting rid of it but I assumed that was just for the warm season until the next winter. I hope they bring it back. I loved the snowflakes we could win to hang on our walls.
I appreciate that there is obvioulsy time between seasons, but I am not sure if the people who requested this break wanted to fill it with another challenge?
I only play for the seasons, personally. I don’t go on next during breaks. I play more on Classic than Next because there’s more to do.
Those folks can simply not participate in the challenge. There’s no need for the rest of us to sit around bored because some people need a break.
I totally agree alaynaj1212. Seasons are why I love Next, and I never voted for this break. And to add on what you said, seasons aren’t mandatory, so if players are overwhelmed or are bored with them, they have the option to just not do them. The rest of us who buy passes and enjoy back to back seasons like we’ve had for the past almost 3 years shouldn’t have to do without.
Wasn’t there a poll awhile back? I assume the census was that they wanted a break and they added a challenge to make those who need something or a reason for logging in, something to do.
Not everyone voted for a break. I definitely did not. I’m thankful for the challenge in between seasons and it can be accomplished in 5 days, which still gives players 9 boring days of doing nothing, lol.
Do you not play in any other area of the game? I am surprised that the season’s are the only reason to play since there are so many other cool areas in next to explore.
If someone does not want to do a challenge them just don’t to it. The rest can enjoy. Do you really care if anyone is not pleased or are you using that to complain yourself?

For anyone still looking – the code works now!
You keep designing these amazing “front” doors that can only be used one per house site. If they were regular doors then we could use them for theme related rooms. That would be so much more designer useful. My main site has dragons ,Halloween, Christmas and more and the wonderful front doors cannot be used on those rooms.

Any chance that our unused toy balls from this year will carry over to next year? I somehow completely forgot to exchange all of mine and I worked so hard to collect them… :(
