Hey everyone! It’s Persephone here with a super cool challenge for you! As you probably already know, I’m Webkinz World’s foremost fashionista. I love designing, wearing, and creating clothes.
Sometimes, however, inspiration can be a little bit hard to find. That’s where you come into things! I’ve got a fashion show coming up and I’d LOVE to see what kind of designs you can create –so I’m having a contest!
I want you to design a cool piece of clothing for your pets and and show us how it was made on YouTube!
The Contest!
From Saturday May 14th 2011 to Tuesday May 31st 2011, we’ll be accepting video responses to our “Webkinz May Makeover Contest” video on YouTube.
The videos must show off attire, apparel or clothes that were made for your Webkinz pet and of course, you must also explain how you made it. I’m hoping you come up with something highly chic!
Prizes!
1st place winner: Sparkling Pegasus
2nd place winner: 5 KinzStyle Shopping Bags
3rd & 4th place winners: 1 Glam Boutique Shopping Bag
As an added bonus, all 4 winners will also have their videos posted on Webkinz Newz!

Here’s an example of how to create a video response on YouTube:
How to Enter the Webkinz May Makeover Contest
1. Go to the GanzVideos YouTube page and post a video response to the “Webkinz May Makeover Contest” video (http://youtu.be/f0vlSW-t9Mw).
2. Users will need to click “create a video response” and then click the “Attach a video” link — then you can select, upload or create your video. All videos will be screened before they are approved.
3. The video you upload should clearly explain how to create the piece of fashion attire, clothes or apparel you made for your Webkinz Pet. Be creative! There’s lots of things you could design. Maybe an outfit, hat, costume or dress – it’s entirely up to you!
4. The attire, clothes or apparel can be made with any type of material or fabric.
5. The videos will be judged on several factors; quality, creativity and the number of “views” you were able to achieve on YouTube.

i would so love to win the prizes, but I don’t really get the contest. I dont have a video recorder or anything, and I just cannot do it! It is SO frustrating!!! And unfair, because you only have a like 1 in 1,000,000 chance!!! I hate not doing contests!!!!!!

Sorry, but i dont think this is fair. Not EVERYONE has a YouTube account. Not EVERYONE can edit a video. Some people don’t even know how to make a video; even more so some people don’t even have a CAMERA to make the video!
I like this contest but theres one thing that doesn’t seem so fair. Why count the views? What if someone has a really good idea and enters but only recieves like 10 views? :( I think you shouldn’t count views but that’s just my opinion. Very nice prizes , I freaked out about the kinzstyle shopping bags! :D

Sorry, but the dress is only at the kinzstyle shop. Sometimes rare clothing appears on the table in front of P.J. It is only available that one hour. On weekdays The items usualy appear at 4pm or 5pm. Hope this helps! ; )

Yeah it’s not a recipe, it’s a special item, you can’t make it. If you’re lucky, like I was, I found it as the special item in the KinzSytle Outlet. Sorry!

you have to be 13 to actually have a youtube account! lots of people who play webkinz are under that age,well excuse me! 13 is the age you turn into a TEENAGER go into MIDDLE SCHOOL and start learning SOME things that are inappropriate in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, i still dont have a account, too bad, i still need slips :-(
It’s not a recipie you buy it from the kinzstyle outlet when they sometimes have rare clothes. I have bought it so that is how you get it

i am getting a youtube account today but my dad is going to make a account to check on me once and a while like lets just say my name on youtube is dog they will say hi i am dog’s dad and stuff and i still agree with you but if you have a account there is this thing where it shows you what you watched but people still say bad words sware and cuss which i am still confused why the people who control youtube don’t think “There are young people watching stuff there aren’t suppose to watch so they should really think if they should post it…

I think it great but just think of all the little kids……
my parents let me use their camera, and my mom is going to help me out with my outfit. My parents let me on youtube with parent assistance. Which means that they know what i’m doing and I am responsible enough to delete or tell them about uncomfortable messages. Is it really that hard to get a camera? Your family should have one. If not, you can just take pictures of your outfit with your phone and use WMM. (Windows movie maker) You can make a cool outfit out of anything laying around. And as I said before, if you tell your parents nicely about YT and you’ll be responsible about it, you can share your entry.
PS: If 6 year olds go on webkinz, they should be on webkinz jr??
