We wanted to hear about your pet’s adventures — read the winning entries below: The greatest adventure my pets have ever gone on would have to be when my family vacationed in the U.S. Virgin Islands one summer. My Webkinz Chicken flew on the plane with me while my two other pets stayed in the luggage. If flying wasn’t enough of an adventure, when we got to the house we were staying at it had a pool! I wanted to take my Webkinz swimming, but my mom said it would get wet so I put in a sealed hamster ball and it spent the entire week in the water with me. When we went horseback riding on the beach my Chicken was with me too. We both love horses so I couldn’t say no. After that, my dad took me and my brothers ziplining and guess who was strapped in with me…my Webkinz Chicken of course. I like to pretend that I am riding her across a big meadow and my long hair is blowing in the wind. I don’t have long hair so that Really is pretending! I would feed her and pet her and brush her coat until it was as shiny as glass. We would cuddle on her bed of fresh hay and I wouldn’t even sneeze! Read the winning entries below: The best day of school for me was this one day when all my teachers planned a special day for all of the kids in my grade. All we did that day was play games, watch movies, and hang out with friends. Our teachers didn’t even give us homework!!! Our teachers had some fun too! While we watched movies, they went into another classroom and just talked. Then after the movies, it was lunch time so the teachers let all of the students eat lunch in the classroom with all of our friends. Also, since it was a very hot day out, we all went outside, and everybody got to drink a nice, cold glass of lemonade. England has old houses and palaces and beautifully sculptured gardens. It also has Queen Elizabeth who I might be lucky and see in person.
