All About the Roses
Are you enjoying our awesome Valentine’s Day celebration this year? It’s so much fun to get roses in the Park from Cinnamon the MAZIN’ Hamster! If you haven’t been yet, it’s time to visit. Cinnamon has five roses, and to get the sixth, you need to visit www.webkinznewz.com! The roses are all beautiful – they come in purple, red, yellow, white, pink, and light pink – and each comes in a crystal vase! When you collect all six roses, you’ll be able to unlock the grand prize – a beautiful bouquet! Time to visit the Park (and Webkinz Newz!).
Making Your Own Flowers
It’s great to collect roses at the Park from Cinnamon (and one from the Webkinz Newz), but how about making some flowers of your very own? It’s easy! What you need: Tissue paper, green pipe cleaner, scissors What you do: 1. Cut six rectangles of tissue paper (about 6 inches by 3 inches). 2. Stack the rectangles and fold them like an accordion. 3. Fold the stack in half. Twist the top part of the pipe cleaner around the stack. 4. Cut a little bit off the end of each side (this will give the leaves shape). 5. Gently pull apart the tissue paper and fluff up the flower. 6. Add a leaf to the stem, if you like. You can also spritz your flower with perfume to make it smell sweet!

She’s got five to give out (from now until February 14), and we’ve got a sixth rose here at Webkinz Newz. When you’ve collected all six roses, you’ll unlock a special grand prize – a large bouquet of flowers! If you’d rather get all your roses at once, no problem! Just click on the rose icon in the lower right part of the screen and click “Get It” under the rose you wish to buy at the eStore (note: this feature is available in English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Spanish only). What a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

Great Ways to Show You Care!
Only eight more days until Valentine’s Day – and that means you’ve got a lot of time to show those you care about how much you care! Here are a few great ideas, if you’re looking to spread the love this month. 1. Help out an elderly relative or neighbor. A great way to do this is by assisting with yard work or driveway shoveling. Not only is it helpful for your relative or friend, it’s also great exercise for you! 2. Make breakfast for your parents. Everyone’s so busy in the morning, so get up extra-early one day and whip up some cereal and toast…and don’t forget to clean up after! 3. Offer to babysit a little sibling (for free). Help by watching your brother or sister while your parents are busy. 4. Put a note in a friend’s locker. Make it something complimentary – do you like your pal’s new haircut? Make a Snowflake
Want to make a snowflake? Here’s how! Step 1: Fold your square of paper into a triangle. Step 2: Fold your big triangle into a smaller triangle. Step 3: Take the right triangle point and fold it across and down. Step 4: Take the left triangle point and fold it across and down. Step 5: Cut the triangle points off the bottom. Step 6: Make lots of cuts in the sides and bottom of your triangle, careful to never cut the entire way across (or you’ll end up with confetti instead of a snowflake!). Step 7: Unfold your snowflake!
