Preview: Duck Crossing, Our New Arena Game
The Webkinz Arcade has received a lot of attention from us recently. Earlier this month, we launched Polarberry Jam and Jumbleberry Fields, two new games for the Arcade. What about the Tournament Arena, where you can play multiplayer games against your friends? We haven’t forgotten about the Arena, and this week, we’re giving you a sneak peek of our newest Arena game, Duck Crossing! Duck Crossing is a strategy game that requires planning and patience. Each player controls a duck, and the goal of the game is to move your duck from one end of the pond to the opposite end. Players take turns moving ducks one space at a time. Players can also spend a turn placing “reeds,” which are walls that the ducks cannot pass through. Strategically placing reeds is the trick to winning. Preview: Jumbleberry Fields, Our New Daily Game
The Webkinz Arcade has been in the spotlight as of late. With two new games planned for the remaining few weeks of the year, the Arcade will be a hotbed of activity during the holiday season. Last week, we gave you a sneak peek at one of the two new games coming, Polarberry Jam. This week, we’re giving you a sneak peek of our new Daily Activity game. Introducing Jumbleberry Fields! Jumbleberry Fields is a game of chance and strategy that players can play once a day. Players roll a set of five dice, each of which has 10 faces. Each of the faces, marked with either a type of berry or a pest, has a different point value. Jumbleberries and Sugarberries are common, Pickleberries are less common, and Moonberries are rare. Players move through 9 rounds, rolling each dice up to three times in an attempt to earn the most points possible by making varying combinations of berries. Preview: Polarberry Jam, Our New Arcade Game
This week, the Creative Director put out a tease on our official Twitter account: there will be two brand new Arcade games coming to the Webkinz Arcade before Christmas, and one will be the first new daily Arcade game since Wishing Well 2. We’re now ready to give you guys a sneak peek of one of our upcoming Arcade games: introducing Polarberry Jam! In this fast-paced action game, players help Inukshuk, the lovable Polar Bear from Polar Plunge, elude mischievous Yetis. Dodging the Yetis can be tough sometimes, but Inukshuk can collect and throw snowballs at the Yetis to stun them, as well. The goal of the game is to collect all the polarberries scattered about the level without touching the Yetis. There are 15 increasingly-challenging levels to best, and an exclusive Trophy awaits those who guide Inukshuk to the end of the game.
