Hey everyone! There’s something special happening on September 24th 2011, and it’s all about encouraging YOU to get outside and play!
Webkinz is supporting Nickelodeon’s 8th annual Worldwide Day of Play. It’s a day when children across North America turn off their TVs, gadgets and computers to get active, and get healthy.
On Saturday September 24th from 12pm to 3pm (EST) both Webkinz World and the Nickelodeon channel will be shutting down, so you won’t miss any fun while you’re outside playing.
At 12pm (EST) a few of our well-known Kinzville citizens will be helping us turn off Webkinz World, that will be YOUR cue to begin a fun activity or game that will get your body moving.
What’s more? At 3pm (EST) when you log back on at Webkinz World, you’ll receive an awesome virtual prize.

My favourite physical activity is gymnastics. I’ve been doing it for ten years. :)
And I like playing outside. Where I live, it’s raining right now. Oh, well.
There’s a block party at my street that day so, either way I willl be outside almost all day! :D That si a GREAT idea webkinz!
I think the prize is pretty cool to! I think the’re just rewarding you for playing outside all day. but, it’s still really cool! :D I LOVE WEBKINZ!

Hey! My favorite physical activity is totally playing soccer! On Saturday I have a soccer game and I can’t wait! I think world wide day of play is a really good, fun, and awesome idea!

I told this to my mom and she loves the idea. She said it made her love Webkinz even more. What I personally would like to know is, if they’re encouraging us to get out and play, why do we get a prize for getting back on the computer later that day?

My favorite physical activity is playing hide and seek tag with my brothers and sometimes my sister. We have 5 acres so it’s really fun. There are a few barns on our property, and overgrown field, and part of the front yard went wild! 1 person is ‘IT.’ IT has to count to 60 in the garage while everyone else hides. IT has to try and find AND tag as many people as possible. The first person to be tagged by IT is the next IT. (It’s more fun without a ‘home’ so there’s no safety)
And Saturday, I’ll either be at a rabbit show, or at homecoming with some of my friends. I have to convince my dad to let me go to homecoming. I found a really pretty dress to wear to the dance.
A rabbit show??? HOMECOMING???? Wow…. real good…. in a weird land!!!!

Oh, so you’re in high school, that’s cool that you still play webkinz, i’m just in jr. high but next year i’ll be high school.
I’ll probably do something like walking my dogs and then doing dancing.

LillyLuvie, Im homescooled and i Have one freind. I hope to one day be a international singer songwriter actor sensation. I don’t do outside a lot. I may be behind on my social skills, and kinda pale of no sun, but 80+ Stuffies and counting, LIVING THE DREAM!!!

What I plan to do on this day is go for a LOOOOOONG walk throughout my neighborhood and a couple others with my dad or friends. We might go birdwatching, and visit the park while picking up trash left on the ground. We may also go swimming, and bake some food (CANDYCORN BROWNIES SOUND SO GOOD I WILL MAKE THEM IF I HAVE THE INGREDIENTS)!!. I also plan to go on the computer for a max. of 20 minutes, just for my daily stuff on webkinz and some other games I play. We have also decide at the end of the day, we have a picnic at the beach. We also hope to go to Busch Gardens to ride Cheetah Hunt again (I LOVE THAT RIDE SOOOOO MUCH! IT WAS MY 1 UPSIDE DOWN ROLLER COASTER!) and of course watch all the animals there. We wont do all of these. We plan to do most, though. ANIMALS AND NATURE 4 EVER!
UGH! i am so dissapointed! i am sick and won’t be able to play outside! :( :_(

I’m really looking forward to this! I’m not lazy, but I surely want to get more active! I REALLY hope that I could possibly have some friends over, and go to a park near my house………. If not I guess I’ll just enjoy outside weather with my family. =)

the recipe sounds good i really like both of the ingridients. they should make something like that on webkinz like a recipie you know it could be something like chocolate, milk, and candycorn but i’m not sure if they have candycorn or not. Ok then a little odd that they’re shutting down webkinz world. But it might be good I guess. I dont really need a reminder to stay active. I jog a mile every day and swim a mile twice a week.

SO for the day that webkinz shuts off I will call my BEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WOOOOOOOORRRRRRRLLLLLLLLDDDDDD and go up to one of their houses and I think we will bake something good to like cookies or brownies well something like that.I dance sing and play the piano well I do not know that much on the piano so we will be outside and inside thanks for the idea about baking a treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!
