This weekend the 2010 FIFA World Cup begins. Soccer is a great sport to play, and Webkinz World has even added a soccer challenge to the Today’s Activities menu. There are many great sports out there to play and watch, and that’s actually our topic for today. If you like playing, watching, or following sports, we’d like to hear from you!

What is your favorite sport and why?

I love swimming! I love just getting in the water and just haveing a great time!
I also love skating and biking!
Sports, well that could be a long list but I think to save you all the trouble. I only play one sport which is baseball, but I play other sports through school activities and such. I like swimming, baseball, basketball, and volleyball. All the other sports are ok but I wouldn’t say that they are the greatest. So if I had to pick a favourite sport it would have to be baseball because I love how you can smack the ball and then run freely around the bases! When you catch a ball you feel energtic and it feels awesome because you did something for your team, not only that but when you win, you feel like you were the only way you won and the water fights are always fantastic! For all the people that don’t play baseball or a sport I say try it. Yeah maybe you can’t hit the ball and make catches at first but it is sooo much fun and if you had a friend with you on the team then that makes it even more fun! That is my favourite sport and why it’s my favourite.
I love soccer! It’s a great sport that you can enjoy even if you’re not that good at it, and you really learn teamwork. You also work your brain well by thinking about what to do next, setting up a good angle for the ball, and other things. But most of all, it’s just a fun sport that everybody can play!
I love competitive swimming. I love it because I place 5th,6th,6th,and 9th in the state in ’09. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE VOLLEYBALL!!!!!! IT IS THE BEST SPORT EVER! I LOVE TO SPIKE THE BALL! VOLLEYBALL RULES!

the best sport in the world is no doubt the beautiful game of football. that is, REAL football that you play with your FEET. Americans call it soccer.
