Feedback Friday: What kind of Arcade game would you like to see on Webkinz?

feedbackfriday

Welcome to the first edition of Feedback Friday, a new weekly feature where we ask a question and look to our wonderful Webkinz members for answers that we will use to make Webkinz World better. This is your chance to influence the way that Webkinz World evolves!

This week, our question revolves around the Webkinz Arcade. We just officially unveiled Polarberry Jam yesterday, and next week, we will unveil our new, upcoming Daily Arcade game. While we’ve got plenty more great ideas for games in the future, though, we want to hear from you.

This week’s question is…

What kind of Arcade games would you like to see?

Action games? Adventure games? Puzzle games? What would you like to see? We’re excited to hear your thoughts, and we’ll be reading all the comments about Arcade games (make sure your comment is about Arcade games!) to find out what the community wants. Let your voice be heard by commenting now!

I would like to see a creativity game where you can make something and you then keep it.

I would like a game where you have to find the hidden objects and when you complete a level you get a game where you have to move a Webkinz to a w symbol.

I think music games and possibly games using magic would be fun.

I like the games in the arcade now, and the new ideas Ganz keeps adding to Webkinz World. Chess, an adventure/mystery/exploration type game would be fun… as would holiday games, puzzles, math games, word games, and ones, old and new that awarded a trophy, prize or were a quick way to make a lot of Kinzcash. Thanks for this Feedback Friday feature.

I would like a game like Jewels, the marbel game that you move a marbel and the others fall.

Also, a game like “Wheel of Fortune” where you spin the wheel with chances of bankrupt or increasing your kinzcash to fill in the blanks of words….That would be GREAT!!!!

I always wanted a Pinball Game. I love Pinball and I think it would be pretty fun. Other than that, I’d love to see more games like ‘Tropical Troubles’, I could play it all day! Lovin’ the idea of ‘Feedback Friday’ and the fact that you want to know what your customers think about things. Keep up the great work, Ganz! :)

    Hi,
I would like a make-up game, that you could do freestyle or try to match the picture. You could have Plumpy, Pj, Amanda Panda and maybe some webkinz like: Pink Pony, Unicorn, Pink Poodle, all the girlyish ones.

    Bye!

There are so many good ideas presented here. I like the games you have and a variety of types is good. I like the idea of a game that has item & kinzcash rewards and also like a mystery, or adventure, or strategy, or traveling around the world type of game (or a combination of those). And a popular game would be one in which a person can quickly earn kinzcash, to keep up with decorating, rare items, etc. and general costs, because not everyone can play games every day. I like Booger Gets an A, the word games, puzzle games, lunch letters, card/math games. I also liked the game Color Storm, and Jazz Monsters. I also think having an exclusive/estore item wheel (daily or weekly) would be nice, along with magical forest type games where a purchase using “real” money isn’t necessary. Also, a really important thing would be to keep interest in playing the games and using the website alive. Some people like to collect trophies from the games, but want someone else to earn them for them. Trophies and special extra items and prizes are one kind of incentive. Everyone has their own preference for games and rewards. And I know that the graphics are rich and programming is complicated, and the technicians are probably very busy implementing and troubleshooting all the new items/ideas and changes, but every time there is a glitch or problem, people get discouraged because the screen freezes and they can’t complete what they are doing, and because each time they encounter some problem. Perhaps having a computer programmer troubleshooter and a large memory capacity back-up system would help. So perhaps if a server has a problem, there would be a whole backup system to cover the problem area while trying to address the problem. It’s been noticed with every change that there are often new “glitches” so it might help, with whatever you decide to use with the new games, etc. to make sure they all work in combination with everything else. It’s a suggestion to hopefully help, because a lot of people, including me, really like the WK website, yet would be much happier if it ran more smoothly for all. And if the site had to go down for some maintenance for awhile after the backup system was all prepared, and hooked up to the existing system, which might be necessary, it might be worth it for everyone, especially as new things are added. If it’s always so unstable, bigger problems can arise, and nobody really wants anything like that to happen. Hope this helps. Thank you for asking for people’s opinions on the games subject.
