There’s something to be said for simplicity, and that’s probably why I like the Ancient Civilization theme so much! It works with such a basic palette, but looks so striking. See what I mean?
The flooring and walls are a lovely muted gray/grayish blue color. This works perfectly with the rich wooden tables and chest, and the deep purple upholstery. The bright red shields on the wall are the ideal accent in this lovely, understated room.
Now, I have to say that Elwin and I don’t exactly agree on how wonderful this theme is. I LOVE it. His comment? “It needs more color.” Some designers just don’t appreciate subtlety.

I like the floors , but not so much the walls. Also , the theme needs more color.
I love the room theme, but the accessories for the room need more viberant color.

Blah. It has no colour, and it needs way more items. The three areas that are build together look to crammed – it needs spacing out. And also, you have the only two items which have colour in [The red shields on the wall] and then the rest is purple. Oh – and shouldn’t the flame holders be either red or purple – not white? The statue and the pool look mismatched as well. The wading pool works in the persian theme, but not here. I won’t be buying these items for myself but if I find any I’ll be trading them :D

I like this theme. I have most of the items in it. The Ancient Wading pool is one of my absolute favorite items in all of Webkinz World!
I like it maybe some soft pale blues and purples to add to the theme but otherwise it is awesome…
I agree it needs more color!!!!!! I only like the pool.
