Giant Halloween Spider Web Cookie

Chef Sophia here with a fun (and delicious) idea for Halloween: a giant spider web cookie! Sounds interesting, right? Here’s what you need:

  • Batch of chocolate chip cookie dough
  • Round cookie sheet
  • Cup of chocolate chips
  • Plastic sandwich bag
  • Candy coated chocolate pieces
  • Adult assistant

Here’s what you do:

  1. Press the cookie dough onto the round cookie sheet (you can use parchment paper underneath so it’s easy to remove the cookie).
  2. Have your adult assistant bake the cookie. Let the cookie cool when it’s done.
  3. Have your adult assistant melt the chocolate chips in the microwave.
  4. Let the chocolate cool down a little bit, and then pour it into your plastic sandwich bag.
  5. Cut a tiny hole in one corner of the bag.
  6. On your big cookie, draw a spider’s web. Add the candy coated chocolate pieces as spiders!
  7. Share your cookie with friends. You can cut it up like a pizza!
