Only eight more days until Valentine’s Day – and that means you’ve got a lot of time to show those you care about how much you care! Here are a few great ideas, if you’re looking to spread the love this month.
1. Help out an elderly relative or neighbor. A great way to do this is by assisting with yard work or driveway shoveling. Not only is it helpful for your relative or friend, it’s also great exercise for you!
2. Make breakfast for your parents. Everyone’s so busy in the morning, so get up extra-early one day and whip up some cereal and toast…and don’t forget to clean up after!
3. Offer to babysit a little sibling (for free). Help by watching your brother or sister while your parents are busy.
4. Put a note in a friend’s locker. Make it something complimentary – do you like your pal’s new haircut? How about the way they’re always there for you? No matter what it is, everyone likes to hear positive comments about themselves!
5. Surprise someone with a baked treat. Whether it’s some healthy muffins or a tray of cookies, everyone likes a little homemade snack now and then! The best part is that you can spend some time with your grown-up assistant while you bake!
