Shopaholic Contest Winners

Congratulations to Abby, Savannah, Ann, Kimberly and Robi. They’ve each been awarded a Shopaholic Prize Pack! We wanted to know what your dream mall would look like. Read the winning entries below.

For “MY” dream mall I would have a HUGE clothes store on the right. On the left I would have a multi-purpose store. In the back I would have a supplies store, and right next to that a movie theater!!! In the front would be the grand entrance with paid door openers. In the middle I would have small stores… #1: an electronics store, #2: a arts and crafts store, #3: a jewelery store, #4: then a shoe store. Then in dead center position a HUGE food court!!!!! A whole variety of little take out foods. Subway, pizza, chinese, etc. I would also have a Webkinz store + a candy shoppe and and an ICEE shop!!!! Then I would have a second floor with a gym!!! With a basketball court, and workout area. I would also have a toy store and a make-up store!!! That would be a pretty cool mall, I’m just saying!! – Abby

Could you imagine a mall so large that all of the Webkinz in Webkinz world could fit inside? Well, my dream mall would. It would be placed perfectly on top of Mount Moolah. Eager Elephants would wait in line at the large food court. Fashionable fish would walk down the aisle as they searched for a store worth stopping at. A mother penguin would drop off her baby penguin while she goes to shop for penguin pearls. While the boy Border Collies run on down to the arcade to play Cash Cow. Finally, all the worn out Webkinz would travel home to their toasty beds. – Savannah

My perfect Mall would be shaped like a wagon wheel with five “spokes”. Around the circular outside would be the clothing stores with the big department stores at each spoke. Each spoke would be a hallway of a specific kind of store: the electronics hallway (cell phone stores, computer stores, home appliance stores); accessories and shoe stores hallway; health and beauty and haircuts/massages/nails hallway; children’s hallway with toy stores, children’s specialty stuff, baby items and a play area. The last spoke would be dollar stores and discount stores/outlets. At the center would be a huge food court and lots of tables with a maitre’d to find you a seat while you get your food. That’s my perfect mall! - Ann

My dream mall would have lots of little shops that are all very specialized and all very unique. There would be a comic book shop, and shoe store, a place to buy jewelery, a little shop just for stuffed toys, a bath and body shop, a gourmet chocolate shop, and a colorful ice cream stand. There would be a store were everything is themed after classic video games, a t-shirt shop, a place just for posters, and many other diverse shops. Also there would be large areas where I would just be able to hang out with my friends. Candy vending machines would line the hallway and a large, indoor fountain would be the mall’s center piece. My friends and I would come shopping together every Friday afternoon to see the sights, to check out all the cool new items, and to spend some awesome time together! - Kimberly

My ultimate mall would have a huge bookstore with all kinds of books in it and a reading spot reserved for me. There would be a really funky food court that had my favourite foods being served: pizza, frozen yogurt and poutine. There should be a movie theatre that has the latest movies and really good popcorn. Reclining seats and a huge screen so everyone is comfy and can see well too. Finally there would be a play area for kids where they can skateboard or roller blade (for the bigger kids) and play with Lego or other toys (for the smaller) kids. Maybe a place to bring your Webkinz and play with them? – Robi
