Two Sweet Marshmallow Recipes

Everyone has had a great time collecting Marshmallows this summer! Here are two terrific Marshmallow recipes you can make for yourself (or a friend)!

Marshmallow Pretzel Wands

What you need:

6 large marshmallows, ½ cup white chocolate chips, 6 large pretzel sticks, colored sugar or sprinkles, waxed paper, grown up assistant

What you do:

  1. Have your adult assistant help you melt the white chocolate chips (you can do this in the microwave. Just tell your adult assistant to check them every 15 seconds or so to see how they’re doing and give them a stir).
  2. Put a piece of waxed paper onto a plate or cookie sheet.
  3. Stick the pretzel stick into your large marshmallow.
  4. Dip the top of the marshmallow into the melted chocolate.
  5. Dip the melted chocolate covered marshmallow into the sprinkles.
  6. Put the marshmallow pretzel wands onto the waxed paper and wait for the chocolate to firm up.

Chocolate Bark

What you need:

1 cup chocolate chips, ¼ cup chopped almonds or peanuts (or shredded sweetened coconut, or rice cereal pieces or nothing at all!), ½ cup mini marshmallows, grown up assistant, bowl, waxed paper

What you do:

  1. Have your grown up assistant melt the chocolate chips for you.
  2. Have your grown up chop up the nuts for you, if you’re using nuts.
  3. Pour the chocolate onto the waxed paper. Make sure it’s about ½ an inch thick.
  4. Sprinkle the marshmallows and nuts (or coconut or puffed rice cereal) on top of your chocolate.
  5. Put the whole thing in the fridge.
  6. When the chocolate is hardened, break the ‘bark’ into pieces and share with friends!

Yum, yum, yummy! I can’t wait for our next shopping trip so I can get marshmallows and try these out. I may even use broken pretzel pieces in the bark. Or how about popcorn? I’m getting all kinds of ideas. Your friend, BuffaloGirl14075

this looks really good. I’m going to make it for my sister. but she can’t have milk chocolate so I’m going to use dark chocolate and sprinkle almonds and brown rice cereal on top.

@kittykat99, i totally agree: this looks really really good. my grandma’s not feeling well and i wanna make something nice 4 her. i’ll probably make the pretzel wands though, even I can barely bite through hardened chocolate. —>random<—

  9. Xadeline says:

I love marshmallows. I think they should make virtual recipes to make using the marshmallows from the seeds.

  10. nihao9.......Yummy! says:

OMG! This is perfect! I’m having my friend over later today, and my mom didn’t know what snack to make my friend and I, so this is perfect! This could really work! -nihao9 :)

@nihao9 – Hope you have fun! I’m going to have my friend over too, and I was thinking of making something sweet, and this might actually do. ;) Thanks Ganz! ~ⒸⓗⓘⓒⓐⓖⓞㄨⓂⓐⓓⓔ

      • Moonstar says:

And then of course, you can make Smores. I’m not a big fan of marshmallows, I’d rather just eat a Hershey’s chocolate bar, but cool for those who do! Does anyone agree with Mistyfoot and I that we should be able to delete rooms, make rooms bigger and smaller and make rooms half one wallpaper and half another paper? (*2 Webkinz with 2 dif. personalities can share a room, etc.) Anyone agree? -Moonstar◙◙◙

        • Lila says:

Add me to that list Moonstar! I love marshmellows but the bark reminds me of the Christmas season.

          • Moonstar's #1 Fan says:

Add me to that list also Moonstar! It’s a great idea, and I would love to make my rooms bigger and smaller, and the wallpaper half and half thing. You rock Moonstar! As for this, I’d rather have icecream or something. -MS Fan

          • Moonstar says:

Thanks My Other Fan. :D Thanks Lila. I agree, bark=christmas. Hey, nihao9, did we ever make a trade yesterday? What do I need to add for that Springy Kangaroo PSI??? I’d rather add another PSI, since what I want is a PSI. Of course, if you had slips. . . -Moonstar◙◙◙

The recipe was awesome! My friends and I really enjoyed them a lot! Thanks to everyone who said have a good time! I really appreciate it!-♥nihao9♥

          • Krystalkat says:

I just like to put a marshmallow and 3 peices of hershey chocolate in the microwave for 10 seconds then mix the melted chocolate and marshmallow together! Better than any Smore! Hey Moonstar, I have some slips if you need them. :) ~KK♥

          • Northwestern...recipe tip says:

Marshmallow fluff that comes in a jar isn’t as dry as marshmallows, so it tends to bring out the flavor better.

          • DragonPrincess says:

What about marshmallow Rice Krispy treats? That’s my favorite marshmallow recipe! Have a great day. ~DP

        • Strawberry Starburst says:

Add me 2 the list Moonstar! The truth is, I don’t like marshmallows. I’m very picky about foods. Even sweets. Like I don’t like cotton candy, or cookies n’ cream Hersheys.(I’m more of a healthy food person even though my comment name is a candy) I don’t think anybody can relate but tell if u can! BTW, I hope u have a great time nihao9 & CM! -SS-

          • Moonstar says:

I honestly am not the biggest sugar person, Strawberry Starburst. I can’t stand marshmallows, dislike cookies n’ cream Hershey’s and I hate cotton candy above all. -Moonstar◙◙◙

          • Krystalkat says:

Im a sweets girl! I like eating healthy, but I crave Haagen Dazs strawberry ice cream, easter cottoncandy, sweet tarts, and most of all vanilla icing!!! ~KK♥

          • SugarPOP- an replacement for SugarComet when posting too fast says:

Add me to that list too, Moonstar, I totally agree. SS and Moonstar- I honestly don’t like sweets either, even though like you (SS) my comment name is sweets-like. ~§ugªr☾☼♏εէ☄☄☄

          • Strawberry Starburst says:

I’m glad some people r like me. Basically, the only sweet I like is Starbursts. My favie food is Subway sandwiches so u can tell I don’t really like sweets. Whenever I tell my friends about this, they always joke w/ me that I’m a disgrace. I’m the only 1 like my mom in the family because she doesn’t like sweets either. My brothers could gorge on sweets literally all day long. -SS-

          • piegal says:

Me 2!! ( SS) but i like marshmallows and subs too, I like alot of healthy food too though……..

        • BuffaloGirl14075 says:

I like your idea to make rooms bigger. I would love to be able to combine some of my out side rooms. It would give us more options to make our rooms and homes flow better.

        • Gabriella♥ says:

The “bark” sounds yummy! I’ll definitely try the bark. I have a marshmallow recipe of my own: dip marshmallows in chocolate sauce. Cover chocolate sauce with rainbow sprinkles by rolling marshmallow. Melt it a little bit more then stick it in between 2 crackers. It’s called rainbow s’mores cause when the rainbow gets melted, it looks SO COOL. ♥

      • nihao9 says:

@CM- Thanks! I hope you have fun too!! My friend and I loved them a lot!! This recipe is delicious! It will really come in handy next time when I invite some of my friends over! -nihao9 :)

      • CoconutCloud says:

This sounds really tasty, I’m definitely trying this out with my BFF when she comes over! ~CC~

    • Phoenix says:

The pretzel wands sound good! But…here’s the thing that goes with every time I try to do a recipe: I don’t have all the ingredients and have to go on another shopping trip and by the time me and my mom return home, someone finishes up another ingredient. Go figure. But this sounds really really good! ~Phoenix Wind~
