Congratulations to Erin, Abby, Elizabeth, Harry and Mattie! They’ve each been awarded a “New Friend” Prize Pack! We wanted your guides for newcomers to Webkinz World – read the winning entries below.

In this book I am going to teach you a little bit about Webkinz and how to get around. First, when you adopt your pet you will get some items and a pack that looks like the animal you just adopted. You can use those items to furnish your room and you can go to the W Shop. The W Shop is where you can use your KinzCash to buy things to furnish rooms and feed your pets. To earn KinzCash you can go to the Arcade and play games that will earn you KinzCash. Now, if you like to be social you can go to the Clubhouse or the Park. If you have KinzChat Plus don’t type bad words or hurt other members’ feelings. There are also other fun places on Webkinz where you get more skilled while having fun, like the Kinzville Academy or the Employment Office. Don’t get too sad when you don’t get an answer right you can always try again. But the most important thing is to have fun! - Erin

MAKING FRIENDS is very easy. You can go to the Clubhouse and pick which room you want to go to. If that room is full, try going to a different room of the same type. You can’t enter if all the rooms are full. Then you just pick a different room. NAVIGATING around Webkinz World is also very easy. All you need to do is press Things to Do on the lower right corner of the screen, then press Map of Kinzville and all the different places in Webkinz World will show up. Just press where you want to go and you’ll go there. The three components to keeping your pet happy and healthy are: HAPPINESS: If he/ she is frowning, give it a bath, play with it, or buy it new things at the W Shop. HEALTH: You can keep your pet health by feeding it health foods and exercising it. HUNGER: All you need to do is keep your pet fed and the bar will be at 100. YOUR ROOM: You can decorate your room and add more rooms by just going to it. RAISE MONEY by going to the arcade or the employment office. HAVE FUN! – Abby

This is my Webkinz Guide Book. First there is the Arcade. The Arcade is where you can play games to earn Kinzcash! Then there is the Kinzville Academy, where your pet can do 3 classes every day to earn badges and even you could win a new Action for your pet! The Kinzstyle Outlet is where you and your pet can buy new clothes, and even create totally awesome outfits!  The W Shop is where you can buy all your pets food and furniture! Then there is the Kinzville Park, where you can help pick up trash in the Kinzville Park! Then there is the Curio Shop, where you get to collect gems and even earn a Webkinz Crown if you collect all the gems, or buy some Rare items! Then the Magical Forest, where there’s Zumwhere and more! Also there is the Stadium where you get to enter contests! The Tournament Arena is where you get to play games with other Webkinz World Members! And finally the Webkinz Adoption Center! Where you adopt cuddly Webkinz Friends! Welcome to Webkinz, where your furry plush toys come to life! First, let us make a stop at your room, where your pets will live. You can also buy more rooms for other pets, or just for fun. Is your house empty? Buy furniture at the W Shop. You can also buy toys, outdoor decor and food. Other shops like the Curio Shop, where you can buy rare items, and the KinzStyle Outlet, where you buy clothing for your pet, also come in handy. The food and other items you buy go to your dock. To feed your pet, drag a food item to your pet on the left when the hunger meter drops below 100. Want to meet some friends? Go to the Clubhouse or Kinzville Park. Each is a hub for pets to see friends and meet them too. Drop in at Quizzy’s Question Corner or the Kinzville Academy to improve your pet’s learning and special skills. Visit the arcade for the funnest games on the Net. And always make sure to check the daily activities for daily fun. With Webkinz, there is always something to do. Have fun in Webkinz! - Harry

Next I would visit “Today’s Activities,” which you can get to by clicking on the Things To Do box or through the newspaper. Want more KinzCash? Visit the map of Kinzville and go to the Arcade to play fun and addicting games that can earn you loads of KinzCash! Want to meet other Webkinz players? Visit either the Clubhouse or Kinzville Park that you can find on the map of Kinzville.If you want to try and unlock something exclusive called the legendary crown of wonder you should visit the Curio Shop!
