As you know, Winterfest will last from January 15th until January 23rd! When you hunt snowflakes in Webkinz World, you'll receive a random prize each time you click on a snowflake, but on Webkinz Newz it works a little differently!
Each day, a different prize will be available. All Webkinz World members can win one prize per account, per day.

How do you hunt for snowflakes?
On Webkinz Newz:
Each time you load a page, there's a chance that the snowflake will appear. The snowflake loads offscreen, so it may take a few moments (after the page has finished loading) for the snowflake to appear.
On Webkinz World:
Make sure your dock is visible while you're playing. This means you can play in places like your room, the Clubhouse or Quizzy's. If the dock isn't visible, the snowflakes won't appear. If your cursor is being used by a game (gardening, making a wish in the Wish Factory, etc), you won't be able to click on the snowflake. Every few minutes, there's a chance that a snowflake will appear.
I’ve been on both days and still haven’t seen any snowflakes.
What a disappointment..again.

I love it when we have to catch the snowflakes or ribbons! it makes you watch for them! and i luv the prizes!!!

Dear Ganz,
With all due respect, if the fest is “off” for maintenance (as no one has reported a flake in about FIVE hours on Asian, Euro or NA accounts), it would be VERY kind and professional of you to TELL US by noting it HERE and on the front page of WW so thousands of people don’t waste hours and hours of time watching for something that isn’t there.
We are glad that you are working on the programming to improve the Fest (if that is what is going on), but it is common courtesy to let your customers know the status of your efforts (ie: “Winterfest is temporarily paused for service. It will resume shortly. Thank you for your patience”).

I love Winterfest, but there is something really wrong here, I got my snowflake on webkinznewz and I got the toque, but nothing today, and I haven’t seen one snowflake on WW today. Yesterday I got 4 parkas, one hoodie, the toque and 2 windows, and I mostly was @ Quizzy’s Corner. I hope they fix this soon!
I LOVE WEBKINZ!! WHERE DO WE FIND THE SNOWFLAKES? CAN WE BE PLAYING GMAES AND THEY GO BY? OR DO WE HAVE TO BE IN A ROOM?
