As you know, Winterfest will last from January 15th until January 23rd! When you hunt snowflakes in Webkinz World, you'll receive a random prize each time you click on a snowflake, but on Webkinz Newz it works a little differently!
Each day, a different prize will be available. All Webkinz World members can win one prize per account, per day.

How do you hunt for snowflakes?
On Webkinz Newz:
Each time you load a page, there's a chance that the snowflake will appear. The snowflake loads offscreen, so it may take a few moments (after the page has finished loading) for the snowflake to appear.
On Webkinz World:
Make sure your dock is visible while you're playing. This means you can play in places like your room, the Clubhouse or Quizzy's. If the dock isn't visible, the snowflakes won't appear. If your cursor is being used by a game (gardening, making a wish in the Wish Factory, etc), you won't be able to click on the snowflake. Every few minutes, there's a chance that a snowflake will appear.

I have to agree with some of the comments. I have been online for the last three hours and have not seen the first snowflake. (only in the ads) The only snow I have seen is in my gardens (which slows up the tending process TREMENDOUSLY) By the way, I have been using both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
I am new to webkinz and reading some of the comments, winterfest used to be better. But someone said they only got one prize yesterday and i found 3 snowflakes! One on WKN and 2 in the game. Not sure about all this…

Come on Webkinz you need to make the snowflakes fly every 4 minutes or something cause this is ridiculous…Been on for over 1 hour and not a snowflake in Webkinz World and I have pretty much given up on seeing any of WKN. This is turning out to be very disappointing beginning to Winterfest, which is one of my most favorite activities (Very Sad WW Member)
