As you know, Winterfest will last from January 15th until January 23rd! When you hunt snowflakes in Webkinz World, you'll receive a random prize each time you click on a snowflake, but on Webkinz Newz it works a little differently!
Each day, a different prize will be available. All Webkinz World members can win one prize per account, per day.

Each day starts at 12:00am EST and runs until 11:59pm EST. Have fun catching snowflakes on both Webkinz Newz and Webkinz World!
How do you hunt for snowflakes?
On Webkinz Newz:
Each time you load a page, there's a chance that the snowflake will appear. The snowflake loads offscreen, so it may take a few moments (after the page has finished loading) for the snowflake to appear.
On Webkinz World:
Make sure your dock is visible while you're playing. This means you can play in places like your room, the Clubhouse or Quizzy's. If the dock isn't visible, the snowflakes won't appear. If your cursor is being used by a game (gardening, making a wish in the Wish Factory, etc), you won't be able to click on the snowflake. Every few minutes, there's a chance that a snowflake will appear.
That dog is a Leonberger.

I have had an account for 5 years and have never heard of the winterfest. It looks so so so so much fun. I hope I find something.
Can’t wait for Winterfest! Ganz is the best. I agree with the previous comment that the same people complain. It’s all free and so much fun. You don’t have to buy estore items. Stop playing if you don’t enjoy it. Don’t ruin it for those of us who think it is awesome. I hope I get the hoodie!

For everyone commenting about how Ganz has messed up winterfest,(READ THE AD)this is for webinz news and webkinz world will be the same as always!!!!Everyday I see the same people complain, complain, complain.If you don’t like the site (WHY PLAY?)The site is meant to have fun on, and most of us do. I think Ganz has really tried to make things interesting and enjoyable for all. Myself and my daughter are both looking forward to the event and the new items that will be in the estore. WAY TO GO GANZ!!!!

The dog look’s like a mastive or a tibetin mastive to me. Anyways, I hope I can actully get some of the prizes this year! All of the preveous years have terrible! The snowflakes just would not flowte by! I’d be at Quizzy’s and the Tradeing room all day to no avale! I hope it’s better this year!
I think the dog is a Signature German Shepherd. And I love the little snow jacket!!!!!
It is great to see the schedule for the prizes on Webkinz Newz, therefore we can decide if we want a certain prize or not. It is disapointing not to see chimes or window in this schedule. I know there is a chance you can win it while in Wekinz world, however it is not guaranteed. I would love just one window. Any chance you can fit it in your schedule for Webkinz Newz?
