I LOVE lavender! It’s one of my favorite scents! I will sometimes buy dried lavender to use in teas, or simmer pots, or just crush a few dried flower buds in my hand to just smell the scent! So calming! I, also, have allergies and asthma, but I am not allergic to lavender…thank goodness! But, cats is another story! I am highly allergic to them. Sadly! :-(

I wish the lavender bushes were growing seed packs. Few things are more exciting than harvesting fresh lavender!!
Hi @KarenaJ! We have lavender growing in our front garden. When you say, “harvesting”, what do you do with the lavender? We just let ours grow, sort of wild. It seems to have a long blooming season, so it adds a nice pop of color. We have people in our family with allergies and asthma, so we probably can’t bring it indoors. I was just curious what you do with yours. The plants are really spreading. Wish we could share some with you!
