Yeah I have this webkinz signature pet too!
I have one of these in plush form! Her name is Gillian! My sister’s friend also has one of these, whose name is Marshmallow, but she renamed the plush Sassy Cat… don’t ask me why, because I don’t know. It’s not after the famous Kinztuber either, since she’s not allowed to watch YouTube.
I’ll still probably get one of these, though, so Gillian can have a friend, whom I will name Caitlyn, because there are 2 girls in my class named Jillian and Kaitlyn who are best friends.
Nice, but please Ganz, I’ve been waiting and waiting for the Sig. Penguin and the regular Donkey. Hubby picked up some of these plushies for me at a thrift store and I’d like to be able to have them on my accounts.
Oooo!!! This pet is so pretty!! I’m so glad I have one in plush form!! I named mine Ivtea de Massard. :)
That’s a really cool name! Also, I’m glad I own the sig Persian cat in plush form, too. It’s soooo cute!
Thank you!! Iveta is one of the characters in my favorite Cadfael book (The Leper of St. Giles). :)
Your welcome! Also, those books sound pretty neat!
The two I’ve read so far have been excellent! Cadfael is my favorite mystery series (but only because I haven’t read Agatha Christie or Margery Allingham). :)
Cool! I’ve never really read any mystery series, but I’m sure they’re great to read! I’ve really wanted to try to one of the great mystery series out there, but I haven’t really gotten a chance yet.
Good name.
Cool! I already have one named Yellowfang, after the Yelowfang in the Warriors series.
Oh my gosh, TaffyKitty12, I thought I was the only one in the entire Webkinz community who read Webkinz (obviously, I was totally wrong). Me and my best friend LOVE the Warriors series. That is seriously the best name EVER for this pet.
Omg! Thank you! It’s so awesome to see another Warriors fan! I am a huge Warriors fan! I’ve read most of the books except for 6 mangas, 2 or 3 super editions, and I haven’t yet got past book 2 of the Dawn of the Clans series. Other than that, I have pretty much read and own all of the books! However, I don’t really know many other warriors fans except for one of my friends and some of the other commenters on here, and of course you too. Still though, I absolutely love everything Warriors! Even most of my cat WebKinz are named after warriors! And that does include Yellowfang, my Persian cat (also, thanks for saying that’s the best name ever for that pet!) Yellowfang is one of my all time favorite characters, so it was only natural that I named one of my pets after here.
What exactly is Warriors about? I’ve heard of the series and looked up a synopsis of it, but the synopsis I read didn’t make any sense.
Here’s a little more info about it (I wanted to see if I could explain it a little more): The clans are divided into different parts: kits (kittens/ cats under 6 months old) apprentices (warriors in training; kittens become an apprentice when their 6 months old), warriors (cats who have been trained to feed and protect their clan), queens (cats who have kittens), elders (retired queens or warriors), medicine cat(s) (kind of like a healer of sorts), deputy, and leader. Each part of the clan does a certain job. The clans also live by a code which is basically a series of rules that they all follow. There’s also another unique part of the series. Each cat has a special name that changed as the get older. For example, when they’re born, they are name “kit” is at the end of yheir name. Example: Bluekit. When the become an apprentice, the suffix “paw” is added. The first part is unchanged. Ex. Bluepaw. When they become a warrior, a unique suffix is added. Examples: Bluefur, Onewhisker, Talltail. If they ever become a leader, the suffix “star” will be added. They can only become a leader of they are chosen as deputy first.
That’s weird. I posted a comment before the one above listing a lot of info about Warriors. I don’t know why it didn’t post. Maybe it was too long. Well, here’s some of what I put in that first comment: Warriors is a book series about 4 clans of cats that live in a forest: Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan. Each of them live in a separate part of the forest. Each clan has a leader with nine lives and a deputy (second in charge). The books follow Rusty, a house cat turned clan cat when the Thunderclan leader, Bluestar, invites him to join the clan. Bluestar did so for two reasons: there was a lack of warriors in the clan, and the medicine cat, Spottedleaf, revived a message from Starclan (their spirit ancestors consisting of all of the spirits of the good cats who once lived in the clans) saying that “Fire alone will save our clan. Rusty had a flame colored pelt (fur), so she thought he was the one mentioned in the message. She renamed him “Firepaw” since he was over 6 months old, yet not old enough to be a warrior. The books follow Firepaw as he grows up to be a warrior, then deputy, then leader of his clan. An ordinary house cat turned into one of the bravest warriors of them all. It’s a long series, consisting of 24 main books and many other side books.
Whoa! That sounds extremely complex, and yet it makes complete sense! You explained it really well, TaffyKitty12! Thank you so much! :)
Your welcome! I’m glad I explained it well!
Wow LOL it seems like EVERYBODY knows about the Warriors series!! You’re definitely not alone! Lately it’s been extremely popular but I guess you’re just referring to your area. But, yeah. You’re not the only one who’s heard of it!
That’s funny cause where I live, it seems like nobody knows what it is. I always tell people about Warriors and they said they’ve never heard of it. By any chance, do happen to live in England? I think that’s where three of the four authors live and where it takes place. And I’m guessing that’s where a lot of the fan base is. Well, at least it seems like there’s a lot of warriors fans by you, and that’s good to know because now I don’t feel like one of the only people who still read it.
