If you’ve been foraging the forest for a terrific tree-dwelling pet, you’ll be delighted to discover the colorfully cute Cuscus! This marvelous marsupial’s idea of “branching out” involves staying hidden in the canopy while they snooze, which is why you’ll often find them napping nestled in their magnificent Mangrove Bed! Once they wake up, they may be feeling a little thirsty, so serve them their favorite refreshment: some Ficus Fruit Nectar!
You may find this pet and more at both W-Shop and Ganz eStore!
Cuscus, hes so little I love him ;w;
Very cool pet! Interesting how this animal looks like a type of primate, but it’s actually more closely related to an opossum than a monkey!
The mangrove bed makes this new pet a treasure indeed! Thank you, Ganz. Great design, Webkinz crew!
An unusual little pet. Thanks.
What a great pet item, I might have to get this pet! Speaking of eStore items, can Ganz please fix the Deluxe Mountain Mine Cart Ride, Rocket Drop Ride, Flying Pet Circus Cannon, and Gumball Gizmo? They haven’t worked properly since Webkinz X, nearly 10 years ago. I would really like to be able to use those items again. Thanks! :D
I would love to know which staffer writes these descriptions for the new pets. My guess is Steve Webkinz, because he always seemed to have a gift for alliteration when he used to do the unboxing videos. Now I’m headed off to go look up the Cuscus, as I don’t yet know much about it. Thank you for continuing to expand my world, Ganz team!
Okay, I am offended on behalf of the Cuscus by its description on Google. “Cuscus: The Weirdest Animal You’ve Never Heard Of. Half sloth, half koala, all weird.” Well I think it’s pretty cool: Size of a cat, nocturnal, opposable fingers (?) for gripping branches, only the males have spots, prehensile tail, gestation is only 13 days (!!!) with an additional 6-7 months in the pouch for the little babies (often 2), lives in Australia and New Guinea, really shy. See, pretty cool!
Thanks for the info, kalcan8! So, Ganz, since this cutie is always male, will we get a female (unspotted) version in the future?
The Waigeou Cuscus, the Common Spotted Cuscus among others, both genders are spotted. This info can be found on different animal sites, not just google.
