Thank you ALL for the wonderful name suggestions! I seriously enjoyed reading through every single one of them & loved the mini explanations :) I managed to narrow it down to TWO names, which are, drumroll please… Davina (suggested by @frankie98) and Rowan (suggested by @blurayne)! Davina reminded me of the character from the show, The Originals, and the magical connotation has stuck with me ever since. I also loved Rowan for its connection with the red berries & how it’s less common than other red-related names I found online! Oh and bonus points for the alliteration with “Red Reindeer” haha. The extra name will go to a future pet for sure, perhaps the Quilted Robin I’ve been eyeing :) I will be sending the dispenser & bow to the both of you :) Thanks again to everyone who participated! <3

@crysjasmine3…Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts you sent & here I was thinking…”oh oh, was this sent to me in error?” But once I realized it was you, I knew you had chosen a name. It’s funny how we are particular when naming our pets. Years ago I always had my grandkids input & believe me, I so wish I could change some of the names now. What I do now is search for unique names with meaning & keep a log. And I have even named a few after family members…LOL (but they will never know). Enjoy your new pet & again, Thank you!! I love your idea of keeping a log, I recently started listing out some names in my Notes app so I could have them for future reference! Random little bit– my gymnastics coach from years ago had a daughter since then, and I loved her name so much that I named my Snuggly Teddy Bear after her :) Like you said, there’s no way I’m sharing that haha! Hi @crysjasmine3! I have a tendency to name my pets after different foods, so I definitely had to be a little more creative for this than usual :) Thank you so much for the shoes you sent! They’ve actually been on my “wish list” for a while. Plus, I’ve always like animated clothes and love that they sparkle! Thank you again, and congrats on the new pet! :)

Hey @balletbear5M! Gotta say, you nailed it with Flurry :) I’ll have to write it down; despite how much I love the holidays, I always have trouble coming up with unique Christmas pet names haha. And I’m so glad the shoes happened to be on your wish list! I felt like you were more of a clothing type of person :) I have to agree, the animated clothing are so fun– the deluxe monthly clothing pieces they had circa 2010 have to be some of my favorites! Thank you @crysjasmine3 for the lovely gifts! They were on my want list; I had been debating buying some more points in order to get that sweet dispenser. I really enjoyed playing your game! I also have a hard time picking out names for my pets (especially the ones that will be on my main account). It can be so hard to choose. My naming has very much evolved over the years. I started out with a TatorTot and a KitKat and I now have a Morpheus and a Kalindi. I hope that you and your family are staying safe and hope you have a great rest of the week and weekend!

You’re very welcome @blurayne! I’m so glad it was on your wish list :) I agree— names can be so difficult; the pet just has to *look* like the name I’m giving it, you know? And wow, that is quite the evolution of names! Morpheus and Kalindi sound so majestic, aaand I haven’t seen a single person in the trading rooms with those names! Although.. tatertots and kitkats are quite tasty LOL. 10 years ago, I named the free bunny they gave out “Jessica” :/ Not my proudest moment haha! @blurayne Jumping in here: I have *always* thought you had the most creative names for your accounts so I’m not surprised it extends to your pet names as well. I also am partial to KitKats although coffee crisp and macintosh toffee are my faves (when I’m being naughty)!

Thank you @Traveller! I am ashamed to say how long it took me to name some of those accounts; I went through probably hundreds of names before I found one that I liked that was available. I think this has something to do with my perfectionist attitude. LOL I have a sweet tooth for sure; I got some mountain toffee from a shop while on vacation in Colorado Springs a couple of years ago (Rocky Mountain Chocolate) and that was the best toffee I had ever had. Yummy!

I’ve been stumped in coming up with a name for my Holiday Red Reindeer, so here’s a fun little giveaway to help name her! Feel free to reply with up to 5 girl names for her! I prefer names that are relevant (inspired by pet color, type, Christmas, etc), and I also love names that have an underlying meaning that would also fit the pet :) Happy naming! The name I end up choosing/my favorite name will win your choice of either the Holiday Silver Cookie Dispenser or the Green Christmas Bow from the newest cracker :)

@crysjasmine3 if she was my pet I would lovingly name her Cupid. Did you know the names of the reindeer in ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas had special meanings. I read that Cupid meant she was affectionate, bringing people together. Her motto is Spread the Love! Her reins were red and green with heart shaped bells. How cute is that! Good luck naming yours. I will check to see if I have any extra seeds later tonight! I definitely do have plenty of extra food harvested from my garden, so I’ll be sending some (you hopefully don’t have already) over the next few days, along with some other random & fun dispenser foods :) No need to send anything in return! A few names I can think of that are red/Christmasy are Poinsettia, Akako (red in Japanese), Chiara (bright), Eira or Kiona (snow), Freya/Freja, and Artemis (greek goddess of the hunt associated with reindeer) or Hestia (greek goddess of the hearth).
