I am doing a giveaway in memory of my 15 year old Basenji dog, Sophie, who I lost this past Friday. She loved the sun, so this is a Sunny Theme giveaway. Hi @blurayne I wanted to say I’m very sorry for your loss. I’m sure Basenji was a wonderful dog in the time you had her. She must have had had a happy life living with someone as kind as you, who so clearly cared for her. Losing beloved pets is always hard; I’m wishing you comfort during this difficult time. I don’t need any items, but I think it’s sweet you’re doing a giveaway in your dog’s memory.

@blurayne, I am so sorry hearing this sad news, I just feel terrible for you. I have a dog who went through a lot her name is Margret and she is a beagle, she had meningitis, when she was not even a year old yet, I love her more then anything♥ She ended up living and beating meningitis!! She took medicine that were very strong and could make more problems but it was the only option for saving her. She did it and lived she just turned three now! I love so so so much. Sophie is in heaven now and in no pain♥ I’m so sorry blurayne I know your pain please know that♥ Have a amazing weekend, LOTS OF LOVE sos♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Dear blurayne, I am so sorry for your loss, so many know the feeling when we experience the loss of a beloved pet, but for each person it is always a different and difficult individual experience. Hello Blurayne, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your dear Sophie. It does not seem fair that our pets do not live as long as humans do. In my lifetime, I have loved both cats and dogs. It has helped me to think of a place where they go after they pass away. There is a poem about the Rainbow Bridge. I imagine that my black lab and chocolate lab are there together. They have jobs to do. They loved the water, so they are swim instructors for any dogs that want lessons. It helped me to imagine my pets as healthy and happy. I still talk to them, especially if I am walking outside or driving alone. Of course, there are tears when I miss them the most. Hugs to you, Blurayne.
