Hey! Welp, here’s the thread for me and @ilovemoonie’s new private roleplay! ^-^ If ya see this, ‘moonie, I hope this is an alright spot! I just wanted a page that’d be easy for me to find, and had really nothing else on it ,XD But if you’d prefer a different one, just lemme know =] I’ll also try to figure out a name for the roleplay, too! Might even post my character info down below later this week, heheh. Can’t wait to start this soon! :3 I bet it’ll be really fun XDD

Hey, buddy! Hope ya don’t mind me posting this here, but I typed up the descriptions for my characters yesterday, and thought I’d go ahead and post them before I forgot :) Hope this helps you out some!
Harry: Webkinz husky; boy; probably 15 or 16? (him, Hermione, and Ron are all the same age); blue eyes; about average height (shorter than Ron, but about the same as Hermione)
Ron: Webkinz curly lion; boy; deep blue eyes; the second-tallest I’ll be using, right after Severus (he is kinda tall for his age XD )
Hermione: Webkinz persian cat; girl; brown eyes; roughly the same height as Harry (give or take a few centimeters)
Severus Grape: Webkinz grape soda pup (though it is worth noting that he’s a mixed breed, since his mom was a cocker spaniel–his markings and fur texture are like that of the soda pup, though his facial features more so resemble that of a spaniel (hence his old nickname, the “half-breed prince” XD )); boy; somewhere in his early 40s; dark brown eyes; tall and slim (actually the tallest character I’ll be using XD )…You must be logged in to reply to this topic.-

… Bilbo: Webkinz alpaca; boy; probably somewhere in his 30s? (I imagine maybe 34); ocean blue eyes; roughly about 8 inches shorter than the average height webkinz his age
Frodo: Webkinz black friesian; probably 19 or 20?; blue eyes; about an inch shorter than Bilbo
Kili: Webkinz black cocker spaniel; boy; 26; turquoise eyes; about 5 inches shorter than the average height webkinz his age
Fili: Webkinz american cocker spaniel; boy; 26 (same age as Kili, since they’re twins); greenish eyes; has a rather “scruffy” chin (in other words, he has fur at the bottom of his chin that’s a bit longer than the fur on the rest of his face, almost making it look like he has a goatee or a little “beard” XD ); about 5 inches shorter than the average height webkinz his age
Thorin: Webkinz scottish terrier; boy; in his mid to upper 30s (maybe 36? I dunno yet); piercing blue eyes; about 3 inches shorter than the average height webkinz his age (but he’s still currently the tallest of the non-Harry Potter webkinz)
~ ~ ~
And, I guess that’s it ,XD Lemme know…You must be logged in to reply to this topic.-

… if you need any more info! :) There’s always the possibility that I’ll add another character or two down the road, but these are just the ones that I will “for sure” be using, at the moment.
If you want, feel free to post about yours underneath this thread, too! =] You don’t have to, though, unless ya want to! -

Whoops! I forgot to say that my friesian was a boy, but I know you already knew that ,XD

May 5, 2020 at 9:52 am #2276991
Hey! Well while I’m at it, I’m gonna go ahead and post the description for my newest character =]
Gandalf: Webkinz charcoal cat (well, technically, he’s a half-persian/half-charcoal cat mix (he’s got the exact same fur and nose colors as a charcoal cat, but has long fur and a broad face like a persian)); boy; in his early 60s, grayish-green eyes; the tallest ‘kinz I’m gonna be using (about several inches taller than Severus)
Hope you don’t mind I don’t post one for Gilderoy…? I know I said I’ll probably use him for a bit at one point, but, he’s not gonna be that important. Plus I could probably easily describe him in my response, since he doesn’t look that much different from the plush?
Can’t wait to hear about yours, eventually! :3 Congrats on getting that retriever! XD -
May 8, 2020 at 9:18 am #2279317
Heya, Taffy! Welp, I finally got the descriptions for my characters typed up, so I’ll go ahead and post ‘em here, if that’s okay! =) Sorry it took so long! ‘^^
Remus: (Full name: Remus Lupin (sometimes called “Moony” by his friends)); male Cuddlekins gray wolf (just in case you don’t remember what that plush looks like, here’s a picture for reference: https://share.ganzworld.com/fanart?id=49110); 36 years old; pale yellow eyes; pretty tall, probably a little taller than average for his species, I would guess?; often has a rather tired look about him, and might be described as looking a bit “shabby”; looks a bit older than he actually is.
Sirius: (Full name: Sirius Black (sometimes called “Padfoot” by his friends)); male Signature Portuguese Water Dog; 36 years old; gray eyes; about as tall as Remus or slightly shorter; has slightly curly black fur; relatively handsome, and well-built, with a sort of “casual elegance” about him.
Sam: (Full name: Samwise Gamchi); male Webkinz Tuxedo Chihuahua; 21 or 22 years old; brown eyes; very short.
Merry: (Full name is Meriadoc Brandybun); male Webkinz Marshmallow Bunny;… -
May 8, 2020 at 9:18 am #2279319
…about 21 years old (a little younger than Sam); blue eyes; about the same height as Sam.
Pippin: (Actual name is “Peregrin”, but most everyone calls him Pippin; I haven’t for sure figured out his last name yet, but I might go with “Nook”, like you suggested); male Webkinz Ginger Bunny; 20 years old (he’s at least 6 months younger than his cousin Merry); green eyes; same height as Sam and Merry.
Rosie: (Full name: Rosie Cotton); female Small Signature Lamb; 20 or 21 years old; light green eyes; about the same height as Sam, Merry, and Pippin.
Legolas: (Full name: Legolas Greenleaf (apparently the name “Legolas” means “green leaf” in one of the elf languages, and I thought it sounded like a cool last name I guess XD )); male Webkinz Butterscotch Retriever; somewhere in his mid twenties, maybe 25?; bright blue eyes; pretty tall, probably a little taller than Remus and Sirius; his fur is lighter than the average Butterscotch Retriever’s (I imagine it being somewhere in between the darker, kind of tan/yellow of the Butterscotch Retriever plush, and the near white of the English Cream Retriever… -
May 8, 2020 at 9:18 am #2279321
…or Signature Labradoodle)
~Alrighty, I guess that’s all of them! If you have any other questions, just ask! :) Sorry their heights aren’t that specific, by the way… ‘^^ But, hopefully it’ll give you a general idea, at least? Also, I hope it’s okay that Sam and them are a little older than Frodo! (Well, I guess Pippin and Rosie are around his age) I just thought those ages would be best for them, but if you want, I could always make them a year or two younger. :)
Oh, and thanks for posting about Gandalf! I’m so excited you decided to make him, oh my goodness XDD He sounds awesome!! =D It’s all right, too, if you don’t post a description for Gilderoy! I mean, you certainly can if you want, but I understand if you don’t, since he’s probably not going to be super important in the roleplay. But if you change your mind, you can always post one for him later! Anyhoo, I’ll be back soon to reply to our convo below, and I’ll be sure to start on my roleplay response very shortly, as well! ^-^
(By the way, sorry that these are… -
May 8, 2020 at 9:18 am #2279323
…directly below your descriptions! ‘^^ I wanted to get them so that they’d be under a different reply icon, if that makes sense, but I was afraid if I tried to do that, they’d accidentally end up below the roleplay, because apparently I get paranoid about that sort of stuff XP )
-
May 8, 2020 at 10:20 am #2279495
Hey, hey, moonie! :3 (Sorry for posting this right here, by the way! ‘^^ I wouldn’t have put it under this thread, except I didn’t wanna add any more stuff to my reply in our other convo below, ’cause that’s already quite long ,XD )
Thanks so much for posting these for me! =D I think you did an awesome job describing your characters! >^^< I can easily picture them all in my mind now! I like how you made "notes" about their nicknames and last names, too :3 Honestly, I never even thought of doing that, pfhaha X,D Speaking of which, I love the last names you made for them all! :D Especially the ones for Merry and Legolas ^-^ Merry's last name is so punny XDD (Oh, really? I didn't know that Legolas' name meant "green leaf"! Well, in that case, I think that's a pretty fitting last name for him! :3 And no worries, I think I know you what mean about his fur color :) So, it'd be lighter than that of the normal butterscotch retriever's, but not too light? Yeah, I can imagine that!)
Oh yes, and thank you… -
May 8, 2020 at 10:20 am #2279499
… for including a picture of Remus! I already forgot what his plush looked like, so I’m glad you posted that link X,D
Ah! And about the ages, it’s totally fine! I don’t mind that you made Sam and some of his pals a little older than Frodo! =] I mean, they don’t all have to be the same age, right? XDD (Besides, for my Marvel ‘kinz, I made Clint older than Steve, and in the movies, Steve is a heck of a lot older X,D ) So please, don’t change them!
Anyway, to be honest, I sorta feel like Frodo should be a little older than he is X,D The only reason why I didn’t make him like 22 or 23 is ’cause of Bilbo, since he’s already a sort of young uncle ,XD (And I didn’t want him to be like, only 9 or 10 years older than his nephew, haha) I’m not even really 100% how he’s his uncle? I guess Bilbo probably just has a brother that’s much older than him, who is Frodo’s father. Then again, it is a bit hard picturing Bilbo having a direct brother ,XD … -
May 8, 2020 at 10:22 am #2279529
… Maybe Frodo’s dad could be like, Bilbo’s half-brother, or something, instead? (They’d share the same father, but have different moms, because I guess something happened to the mom of Frodo’s dad?) I dunno, it’s weird trying to figure out that family ,XD
Actually, I sorta feel like Bilbo and Thorin, are a bit younger than they should be, too? Kili and Fili are the only ones I’m satisfied with X,D
So, with that being said, I think I’ve officially decided that Frodo will be 20 (maybe close to turning 21?) (that way, he can be about the same age as Pippin, and won’t be the youngest XD ), and I’ll probably bump up Bilbo and Thorin’s ages to 35 and 37, respectfully :) Yes. I like that much better XD
Anyhoo, sorry for rambling about all that! ‘^^
And don’t worry about the heights, either– I feel like I have a pretty good idea of how they all stack up! ;) It doesn’t have to be exact XD
Ohh, and I’m glad you seem to like Gandalf, so far! :D He’s definitely the oldest webkinz character I’ve ever made, pfhaha… -
May 8, 2020 at 10:24 am #2279537
… Can’t wait to use him! :3 I might add him in a turn or two? I’ll figure it out, heheh. And thanks for understanding about Gilderoy! I probably won’t, but, I guess you never know XD I guess it would be sorta fun to type a description for him…
Ahh, yes, and that’s fine! =] Again, I know our convo down below is kinda long, so I totally understand if you can’t reply to it for a while :) Good luck typing up your first roleplay reply, by the way! ^-^ I can’t wait to read it once it’s posted XDD All of your characters sound awesome! ;D
Talk to ya later, bud :) Don’t feel compelled to respond to this, by the way! I just wanted to comment XDD
(Oh, don’t worry! I’m actually glad you posted it like this, ’cause it would’ve been a bit weird if it had ended up under the roleplay XD I get paranoid about that stuff, too, you’re not the only one, haha!) -
May 29, 2020 at 9:04 am #2287389
Ahh, hey, buddy! Sorry for addin’ more to this here! ‘^^ I just thought that, while I have the time, I should go ahead and post about those things I told ya at our most recent chat. Hope you don’t mind! :c
So first, I have decided to add that one character to our roleplay! Here’s his info =]
Faramir: (Last name: Gondor); Webkinz majestic tiger; boy; blue eyes; 29 years old; in terms of height, I imagine he’d be around the same as Severus? So, Faramir would probably be the second or third tallest of the group
~ ~
Also, I have decided to bump Frodo and Thorin’s ages up a notch, too. Frodo is now officially 21 (instead of being close to 21), and Thorin is 38.
Oh! And although Fili and Kili are still twins, Fili is technically the older one by a few minutes.
And… I think that’s it? Sorry if all this changing stuff is confusing, ahah! ‘^^ But don’t worry, I don’t think I’ll be altering anything else ,XD -
June 11, 2020 at 11:44 am #2292335
Ah, sorry, I just realized that I forgot to add Boromir’s description here ‘^^ I’ll go ahead and put that in for ya! I think it might be helpful, since I picture him to look kind of different than both the plush and virtual :)
Boromir: (Last name: Gondor); Webkinz original lion; boy; gray eyes; 31 years old; a little taller than his brother Faramir; “well-built”, somewhat muscular, and has this really “rugged” look to him; has paler fur than what’s on the plush (kind of like a muted yellow, I imagine?); his mane is short–going only a little past his chin– and is kind of thin (in terms of color, his mane is a light dusty brown color, fringed with pieces of blonde at the ends) -
June 17, 2020 at 9:16 am #2294653
Heya, pal! =] Welp, since my Brown Arabian finally arrived on Monday, I thought I’d go ahead and post the descriptions for him and my bulldog! :)
Aragorn: (Full name: Aragorn Elessar (also sometimes called “Strider”)); male Webkinz Brown Arabian; 30 years old; gray eyes; quite tall, probably about the same height as Legolas; has copper-brown fur, a long black mane and tail (which is sometimes a bit unkempt), and a white patch on his forehead.
Gimli: (I haven’t decided for sure on his last name yet, but I’m considering maybe “Moria”, like that dwarf kingdom? I dunno, that’s the only thing I could think of ,XD ); male Webkinz British Bulldog; 27 years old; dark brown eyes; is rather short and stout (he’s taller than Sam and friends, but still a good deal shorter than average)
~~
Also, reading over my other descriptions again, I think I might change the age of a few of my characters…I was thinking I’d make Legolas a year older (26), so he’ll be a bit closer in age to Gimli and to Aragorn. I was also thinking I’d change Pippin from 20 to 19… -
June 17, 2020 at 9:16 am #2294655
…(I could’ve sworn he was already 19, but, I guess not XD ), and Rosie and Merry to 20 (although Merry might be closer to 21), and Sam to 21 instead of 22…would that be okay, though? I know you made Frodo a bit older, so I feel bad for making mine younger, but I guess they just seemed too old, now I’m figuring out more for them? =P I hope you don’t mind! Sorry for changing things up on you ‘^^ If you’d prefer I keep them the same, I can! (Although I’d probably still keep Pippin at the younger age, because, well…ideas we’ve come up with recently have convinced me that he should be a bit younger ,XD )
Oh! And while I’m here, I just wanted to say thanks for posting the descriptions for Faramir and Boromir! =] They both sound pretty great, hehe! XD (I love “Gondor” for their last name, by the way! That was a great idea! ;D ) Ahh, okay, and so Faramir is the younger one? I thought he was, but I couldn’t remember for sure XD That does seem to make more sense, though! … -
June 17, 2020 at 9:16 am #2294657
… Thanks for describing Boromir’s colors, too, since he looks pretty different from the Webkinz. I think I’ve got a pretty good idea in my mind of what he looks like, now…I really like those colors! =] They seem quite nice, at least how I’m imagining it haha XD
Anyway, think that’s about all! I’ll try to reply to the conversations on this page at some point (I promise I haven’t forgotten about them!), and I’m gonna keep working on my roleplay response, as well. I’m terribly sorry for taking so long on that!! DX -
June 18, 2020 at 8:57 am #2295237
Hey, buddy! Thanks a bunch for posting these here! :D I was really hoping to read the descriptions for Gimli and Aragorn soon (congrats again on getting ‘em both, by the way! :3 Hope you’re enjoying them! ^-^ ) so it made my day when I saw that you posted these this morning, haha XD
First, I think “Aragorn Elessar” has a pretty nice ring to it! I’m assuming you got that from the book/movie, since I think he’s referred to as “King Elessar”? Ohh, and I’ve actually been meaning to ask you if “Strider” was gonna be Aragorn’s nickname, so I’m glad you decided to include that =] By the way, I like how you described his mane! “Long and unkempt”? Heheh, I think I can picture that… XD
Movin’ on, “Moria” would be a great last name for Gimli, in my opinion! I wouldn’t have even thought of that XD Good idea, you had there! Haha, I was wonderin’ if he’d be kind of short and stocky XD Fitting, since both the character and the plush are like that!
Well, I cannot wait to see those two in the roleplay, moonie!… -
June 18, 2020 at 8:57 am #2295239
… I bet they’ll be awesome characters! :D
About the ages: it’s totally alright, buddy! I felt like that about some of mine, too ,XD The more I used and developed them, the more I was like, “Hmm… maybe this guy should be older.”
Anyway, I think 26 is a good age for Legolas, since (like you said) he’d be closer to Gimli and Aragorn ;) Plus he’d be the same age as Fili and Kili XD
Ah, and I see that you’re considering moving Sam and friends’ ages down a bit, as well! Personally, I’m totally fine with you doing that! ^-^ Aw, but please don’t feel bad, though D: There’s absolutely nothing for you to be sorry about! (I mean, heck, I’ve changed Thorin and Frodo’s ages on you not once, but twice ,XD Anyway, for what it’s worth, Frodo was too young when I first made him, and I’m honestly very glad that I changed his age XD ) Actually, I think the new ages you came up for them with are probably more fitting! :) Especially Pippin’s, because I agree with you that he should be young XDD … -
June 18, 2020 at 8:57 am #2295241
…
Especially after all that stuff we came up with X,D
And anyway, I do kinda like the idea of having Frodo be one of the oldest (if not, the oldest) in the group, because… I dunno. He just comes off as being “older” than most of them, I guess? XD
So yup, if that’s how old you want them to be, I’m definitely cool with that! :)
(Ohh, and speaking of those guys, did you ever decide on a last name for Pippin? I think you mentioned “Nook”, but lemme know if you ever want me to brainstorm more ideas!)
Haha, and thanks! I’m glad you liked my descriptions for Faramir and Boromir (as well as their last names)! =]
Oh, yup XD Sorry, I forgot to mention that to you earlier! ‘^^ But yes, Faramir is the younger brother :) I’m almost positive that he’s younger than Boromir in the books and the movies, too? I don’t know by how much, though ,XD
Yeah, no problem! ;) I know I picture him kinda differently than the plush, so I’m glad my description gave you a good and accurate idea of… -
June 18, 2020 at 8:58 am #2295245
… how I imagine him to be! Oh, do you? Well, thanks! :3 Not gonna lie, though… it took me forever to figure out what his mane was gonna look like X,D
Oh, and thanks for letting me know about that! :) Actually, you don’t have to reply to our conversations on this page, unless you really want to XD I know most of the information that I mentioned in those convos is now outdated, and I really don’t want you to waste your time responding to stuff that’s obsolete! ‘^^ If anything, maybe we can just start a new conversation sometime soon in our thread? :)
No, it’s okay, moonie! I mean, the roleplay idea itself was just sorta thrown together one day– it’s not like we really had much time in advance to develop our characters or think about how we wanted to use them! (Aw man, I really hope I didn’t stress you out by posting my first reply so early, ahah… ‘^^ ) So, no worries, I totally understand! I do look forward, though, to whenever you post your response; I’m sure it’ll be great!! ^-^ -
August 4, 2020 at 8:50 am #2328619
Hey, buddy! Sorry, hope you don’t mind me posting this here… ‘^^ Just wanted to post the descriptions for a few of my newer characters!
I hope you find them helpful :)
Éowyn Rohan: Webkinz gold and white cat; girl; pale sky blue eyes; 27 years old; slim and a little tall for her gender and species, but is still shorter than all of my major, “normal sized” characters, besides Harry and friends
~Side Characters~ (Characters that will make minor appearances in the roleplay)
Laurel Willowbrook: Webkinz signature woodland raccoon; green eyes; 25 or 26 years old; about the average height for her species, and is 3 or 4 inches taller than Kili; additionally, unlike most woodland raccoons, the “mask” around Laurel’s eyes is composed primarily of two “rings” of brown fur, the first ring (the one closest to her eyes) being dark brown, and the second ring being a light, caramel color— a stark contrast to the very dark, solid grayish-brown eye mask sported by the majority of her species… -
August 4, 2020 at 8:50 am #2328621
… Gilderoy Flockhart: Webkinz penguin; boy; turquoise eyes; somewhere in his early 30s (33, perhaps?); is a bit tall for a penguin, but is still shorter than most of my “normal sized” characters (maybe about the same height as Éowyn); is deemed handsome by some, and has a charming smile and a smooth voice
Beorn: Webkinz black bear; boy; dark amber eyes, 40 years old; would be the tallest of the characters I’m using (he’d be about 3 inches taller than Gandalf and Boromir); very muscular; has a fluffy head and a torn left ear, as well as a couple of faint scars on the left side of his face (that’s what he gets for playing around in thorn bushes as a kid :P )

Okay! Welp since you said I could go ahead and post my reply today (thanks for doing that, by the way! :3), here’s the official “posting thread” for the “Fellowship of the Kinz” roleply! I’ll start posting my response down below shortly =]

~ Frodo sat on a chair in the kitchen, looking outside the small window on his right. It was an amazingly beautiful day outside, but inside Bilbo’s hillside home, everything was just the same as usual.
Several months each year, Frodo’s parents would drop him off at his uncle Bilbo’s to temporarily live with him while they took care of his grandmother. It had been going on for a matter of years now, and although he missed his mother and father, he did enjoy spending time with the kindhearted (albeit quirky) alpaca.
Frodo watched with keen eyes as Bilbo–who sat in the nearby study room– was scribbling away in a giant book. His uncle was always working on that thing in the mornings and afternoons, whenever he thought that Frodo wasn’t looking. But it really wasn’t that hard to notice.
Frodo glanced down at the table. His plate was still empty, but he didn’t bother to put anything on it. He wasn’t particularly hungry for breakfast this morning. Pushing it aside, he got up and quietly strolled over to Bilbo.
The alpaca was so busy with whatever it was he was…You must be logged in to reply to this topic.-
May 5, 2020 at 8:56 am #2276915
~2~ … doing, he didn’t even notice that Frodo was in the same room as him until he asked: “What are you working on?”
Startled, Bilbo gave him a nervous side eye before quickly closing his book.
“Oh, nothing! Well, uh, nothing that you need to see right now, anyway”, he mumbled. “It’s not finished yet. But when it is, I… I can show it to you.” He gave a sheepish grin and took a great big sip of his tea.
Frodo raised his brow. He sometimes wished Bilbo would just tell him what he was writing, but no matter. If it was really a surprise, then well, he could probably wait. Though, Frodo was sometimes tempted to take a peek at it when his uncle wasn’t looking…
A sudden knock at the door surprised both of them. Bilbo nearly spit out his tea!
“Dear heavens! Whosoever could be at the door at this time of morning?!” he exclaimed after recovering from his initial surprise, wiping the tea dribble off of his chin. “I hope whomever it is is not some sort of visitor. Or worse– a family member.” Bilbo shuddered… -
May 5, 2020 at 8:56 am #2276917
~3~ … at the latter. He wasn’t too fond of most of his family, especially his uptight aunts and uncles, who never believed a single word of his stories about his epic adventures.
“I suppose I’m one of the only relatives you actually like?” asked Frodo with a humorous, lopsided smile.
“That indeed you are, my dear Frodo”, replied the alpaca with a dry laugh.
Whoever was at the door knocked again– this time, it was much louder. And then there was another loud knock. And another…
Frodo was perplexed that his uncle didn’t just ask him to open the door and tell whoever was there that Mr. Bilbo wasn’t home while the alpaca hid in his bedroom with the door closed… since that’s what usually happened in the Waggins household on a regular basis.
So, needless to say, the friesian was a bit shocked when an anxious and fed up Bilbo turned his head towards the door and yelled out: “No visitors, partiers, salesman, or distant relations!”
There was silence for a moment, and then a muffled voice asked, “What about friends?”
Bilbo’s eyes grew large, and to Frodo’s great… -
May 5, 2020 at 9:09 am #2276925
~4~ … surprise, he shot out of his seat and dashed to the door.
Curious, Frodo followed him, wondering what kind of visitor (or visitors) must be at the door that’d make uncle behave so uncharacteristically.
A grin made its way across Bilbo’s face as he turned the knob, and once he saw who was standing there, he couldn’t contain his excitement any more.
“Fili? Kili? Thorin?” he squeaked, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes. “My dear friends! Come on in!”
The two spaniels were the first to step inside, giving Bilbo a polite bow before they walked into the living room.
“Make sure you actually wipe your feet on the mat this time and not on my furniture”, said Bilbo, laughing (though one could still tell that he was being serious).
The black spaniel with turquoise eyes looked behind his shoulder and smiled. “Don’t worry. We’ve learned our lesson.”
The other spaniel– a sand-colored one with greenish eyes and a shaggy chin– proceeded to wipe his feet on Bilbo’s designated rug.
Both dogs donned thick silver belts around their waists, as well as tall boots (the lighter spaniel… -
May 5, 2020 at 9:09 am #2276929
~5~ … wore caramel-colored boots, while the darker spaniel wore black ones).
Frodo took a few steps back. Bilbo hardly ever invited guests inside, so all of this was very strange to him. Yet, it was nice seeing his uncle be welcoming for once!
The next (and last) animal inside looked older and more gruff than the other two, whom Frodo assumed were brothers.
This one was a scottish terrier with a ruffled beard and tired blue eyes. He didn’t bow like the other two, but gave a respectful nod and a very slight smile.
“Thorin! How nice it is to see you!” exclaimed Bilbo. “Is the whole company going to be here?”
The terrier shook his head. “Not today, I’m afraid. Most of them are busy. But, we figured that we would stop by while we were in town. It has been a while, hasn’t it?”
Bilbo nodded in agreement. “It’s been too long, I think! A couple of years, perhaps?” The alpaca was overjoyed to see his old pals, but he noticed that their eyes started to drift and focus on young Frodo, who looked quite confused as to… -

~6~ … what was going on.
“Ah, friends! I forgot to introduce you to my relation.” He walked over to the horse and put his arm around him. “This here is Frodo, my nephew! I don’t suppose you’ve ever seen him before? He usually visits me during the spring and summer months, or whenever his parents are gone. A fine young lad, he is!”
The spaniels dipped their heads in greeting.
“Fili-”
“-and Kili”
“-at your service!” they said together almost in unison. They grinned at Frodo, and then looked expectantly at the terrier.
The older dog, on the paw, stared at Frodo with a furrowed brow, as if he was a little less-than-impressed by Bilbo’s young nephew. The horse tried not to cower under the terrier’s piercing gaze.
But, after a moment, the dog’s face softened a little, and he said, “Thorin son of Thrain son of Thror Barkenshield. Pleased to meet you.”
“You, as well”, piped Frodo, ever so softly.
A sudden realization washed over him. Thorin? That name sounds familiar… could it be-

“Frodo, these are some of the animals I met on that one adventure I told you about! No need to be intimidated– they’re all quite good”, he said, still smiling.
He then broke away from Frodo and started off towards the kitchen. “Let me fix you three something to eat! What is that you’d like? Anyone want tea?”
“No tea for me, but do you have any snacks?” asked Kili.
Bilbo cocked his head. “Well, I have fruit and bread… not much right now, I’m afraid. I ought to take a trip to the store later.”
Kili nodded. “Bread sounds good.”
“I think I’d prefer fruit. Any would do! So long as it’s not an apple”, called out Fili.
Kili looked at him with a raised brow. “No apples?! Why not?”
“I got sick on them once! You know that”, said Fili, giving Kili a playful nudge.
“Oh, really?”, inquired a skeptical Kili, “I thought you once said it was because of the smell.”
“The smell? Ha, hah, uh, no. That would just be… ridiculous.”
“No, brother, that’d be very ridiculous.”

“I’ve told you before, it’s not a pebble– it’s pure labradorite!”
Thorin walked past the two, paying no attention to their conversation.
Frodo decided to follow the terrier, but from a distance. Fili and Kili had come up from behind him, and were now seated, awaiting their snacks. Thorin reclined at the biggest, tallest chair, and kept shooting glances at the two brothers, as if to warn them not to do anything stupid.
Meanwhile, Bilbo was in the middle of preparing their food. When Frodo caught Bilbo’s eye, his uncle looked at him with surprise, as if he didn’t expect him to be in the kitchen.
“Ah, Frodo! Uh, you don’t have to, er, stay, you know”, he began. “I realize it might be um, a bit boring for you to sit here and listen to us old fellows talk on and on about matters you hardly know about. Why don’t you go outside and hang out with your friends, or something…?”

(Which turned out to be partially true, although Bilbo also didn’t want young Frodo to hear about all the company’s adventures in-depth, as that was what he was secretly writing about in his book) Not like Frodo would be that offended, anyway. Going outside sounded kinda good to him, actually, especially on a spring morning as beautiful as this.
“Alright. I suppose I’ll see you later, then. I will be back before supper”, he replied. After bidding an awkward ‘farewell’ to Thorin and company (poor Fili and Kili were a bit sad to see him go! Thorin didn’t mind so much–one less person meant a lesser chance that he’d be interrupted, after all– though he would’ve liked to have learned a little more about Bilbo’s curious relation), he whisked away into the living room and grabbed his green cloak off of the wooden chest near the door. ~10~ … It was probably a bit cold outside, anyway.
A little cold, it was, once he stepped outside and closed the door behind him, but the golden sunshine and lush grass that greeted him was totally worth it.
Drawing his cloak over his shoulders, Frodo started down the street.
Now, if he only knew where to go…
Wait! “Underhill Drive”, the road on which Bilbo lived, was thankfully not very far from where Frodo’s best friend Sam resided.
He could go visit Sam! Yes! It had been a little while since Frodo had last seen him, anyway.
As he strolled down the sidewalk towards Sam’s house, Frodo noticed that a couple of Bilbo’s neighbors who were working outside stopped to look at him in suspicion. Unfortunately, Bilbo’s relations weren’t the only ones who thought that the alpaca was crazy– some of the animals who lived in his neighborhood also felt the same way.
Frodo could tell, because they always rolled their eyes and shook their heads whenever they saw him or Bilbo out and about. However, he had learned to just keep on walking, and maybe give… -

Thankfully, no one made any rude little comments today, and Frodo was able to slip by without listening to yet another round of “Hey, isn’t that Bilbo’s nephew?”, “Hmph, he’s probably not much better than his kooky uncle!”, “If he had any sense, he’d stay far away from that so-called ‘adventurer’!”
Without having to stop each time someone made a snide remark, Frodo made it to Sam’s street in no time flat.
He ambled up to his friend’s house and knocked on the door with his hoof, hoping that Samwise wouldn’t be too busy to hang out for a while…

It was a beautiful morning on Shire Lane, and in the kitchen of his cozy little house, Samwise Gamchi was washing the dishes. His kitchen was quiet on this particular morning, all except for the gentle running of the water in the sink and the occasional clink of a plate or glass. As he worked, the chihuahua gazed out the window at his yard. In full view was his garden, where he grew his potatoes and his carrots and an assortment of other fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Nearby stood a large, old oak tree; and not too far from that, a small, peaceful pond; and stretching into the distance was the bright green grass and low, sloping hill next to which Sam resided. The sun was shining bright on this morning, illuminating the grass so that it almost seemed to radiate with light. It was a beautiful day, albeit a little cold. Still, such a nice day should not be wasted away indoors, so Sam began to ponder the best way to spend it. A moment later, however, his thoughts were interrupted by a knock at his front door. … -

… I wonder who that could be? Sam thought to himself as he hastened to dry off the last plate, although he had a pretty good guess based on who was usually known to visit his residence. He crossed through the kitchen and over to the door, preparing to greet whatever visitors were waiting on the other side. As he swung open the door, he found two rabbits standing just outside. It seemed that his unexpected guests were none other than two of his best friends, Meriadoc Brandybun and Peregrin Nook—or as they were better known, Merry and Pippin. The two rabbits lived together just down the road from Sam’s house, and were cousins, despite their rather different appearances (for Merry had curly white fur, and Pippin had shorter, ginger-brown fur). Merry was wearing a yellow shirt with a green jacket and brown pants, and Pippin was dressed in black pants, a dark blue long sleeve shirt, and a green scarf. They both smiled at Sam as he opened the door, and greeted him simultaneously with a cheery “Good morning!”
“Good mornin’, Mr. Merry and… -

…Mr. Pippin!” said Sam. (He often addressed people, his friends included, in this formal way. No one was quite sure why he did this, but they never really bothered him about it, as after all there is nothing wrong with having good manners.) “It’s a wonderful morning, isn’t it?” continued Sam, gazing in admiration at the grass, trees, and flowers, bright and beautiful in the sunlight, that greeted his eyes.
Merry nodded in agreement.
“It is indeed!”
“Well, it’s a bit cold,” put in Pippin.
“Well yeah, I s’pose it is a bit cool out, but the sun is well worth it, far as I am concerned,” said Sam. “Won’t you come inside?”
“I thought you’d never ask!” Pippin said, half-jokingly, before following Merry into the house.
Sam did not bother asking the duo why they were there, as it was hardly an uncommon occurrence; for Merry and Pippin, living just down the road, were known to visit Sam’s place with little or no warning on a pretty regular basis, so that it was hardly unexpected. Sam usually didn’t mind, though, and enjoyed the company, so long as he wasn’t busy. … -

… “Hey Sam, do you have anything to eat?” inquired Pippin as the chihuahua led his two friends into the dining room. “I’m hungry.”
“You’re always hungry, Pip,” Merry said.
“I’m not always hungry, but I will never turn down food. There’s a very important difference, Merry.”
“Haven’t you eaten breakfast?” asked Sam.
“We’ve had breakfast, yes, but what about second breakfast?” said Pippin, as though this were obvious. “It’s the most important meal of the day.”
“But, I thought before you said dinner was the most important meal,” recalled Sam. “And another time it was lunch, and first breakfast, and elevenses, and afternoon tea—although I still reckon that doesn’t really count as a meal. Now it’s second breakfast?”
“I’m pretty sure the most important meal is whichever one he’s about to eat,” said Merry, and he and Sam laughed.
“Well,” Sam said a moment later, turning to Pippin to answer the question he had almost forgotten about, “I don’t know what all food I have, but you can take whatever you like.”
Pippin smiled.
“Thanks!” he said, and went happily to Sam’s kitchen to find something good to eat. … -

… When he returned, Samwise and Merry were sitting at the dining room table discussing the weather, and Sam’s various gardening jobs, and other topics that Pippin didn’t find nearly as interesting as the pastries he had just discovered in the kitchen.
“…Well, last I heard, he said they might be in town soon,” Sam was saying.
“Who might be in town?” asked Pippin, joining them at the table.
“Aragorn and them.”
“Oh, are they coming again? Great! These pastries are really good, by the way.”
“Where’d you find those?” asked Sam, looking at him in mild confusion. “I forgot I had them.”
“They were in the second cabinet from the fridge. I always check there because it’s where you keep your pastries and other desserts.”
“I think you know my kitchen better than I do,” joked Sam, taking one of his forgotten pastries.
“It’s very possible. Did you know you have some bacon at the back of your refrigerator?”
“No…”
“Really? Great, that means it’s still in there! I accidentally left it last time we were over, see, and I thought you would’ve eaten it by now. Merry! I know what we’re… -

“Um, bacon?” asked Merry.
“What? No, why would we have bacon for dinner, it’s clearly a breakfast food. We’re having that leftover soup you made a few days ago, remember? I forgot to tell you earlier.”
“Oh, okay..” Merry replied, a bit confused why Pippin had randomly decided to bring up the topic when it had nothing to do with bacon, but then again, this was the same bunny who had once had the sudden inspiration to drop his phone in the bathtub to see if it’d float.
As the trio continued talking, there was suddenly another knock on the door, which made them all stop and look up.
“I wonder who that could be?” wondered Sam, aloud this time, and he rose from his chair to answer the door.
“You’re quite popular, Sam,” Pippin remarked. “Two visitors in one morning! Maybe they know about your pastry cabinet too..”
Sam again crossed to the door and again opened it, this time to find a black friesian horse standing outside; another of his best friends, Frodo! Sam smiled, pleased to see his friend… -

“Hello, Mr. Frodo! What a nice surprise! It’s been a little while, hasn’t it?”

“Hello, Frodo!” they both called.
“Oh yeah, Merry and Pippin are here too,” explained Sam. “Anyway, do come in! How have you been?”

~1~ Frodo stood outside the door, casually gazing around at the flora which blazed like green fire in the mid-morning light. He saw trees and flowers and every other sort of springtime marvel– all blooming and in full-leaf, too.
Indeed, Sam lived in a beautiful part of the country!
All this thinking of plants made Frodo curious to see what the chihuahua was growing in his garden. Perhaps he should go take a peek…
But before the horse could wander off, he heard footsteps, and then the twist of a knob, and there in front of him suddenly appeared Samwise Gamchi.
The edges of Frodo’s mouth curled into a small smile. “Hullo there, Sam! How glad I am to see you, my dear friend.” His grin was quickly replaced by a look of mild embarrassment. “Oh, yes, I suppose it has been a good while. My apologies! I really should make more of an effort to visit…” he sighed.

Frodo shook his head as if to clear his thoughts. Now was not the time to ponder about his distractive hobbies. And anyway, Samwise had just made him aware that he wasn’t the only animal to stop by for a visit that morning…
“-Oh, and hullo, Merry and Pippin!” greeted Frodo, peering over Sam’s shoulder to look at the two rabbits. He waved at them. “Looks like you’ve been busy today, huh Sam? I hope Pippin hasn’t raided your refrigerator!”
He gave an awkward laugh and stepped inside, drawing his cloak further up his shoulders so it wouldn’t drag on the floor.
The last thing he needed was to trip and fall and injure his shoulder again; a scenario that, in theory, should be unlikely to occur to someone taking such precautions. But unfortunately, it was always a possibility for poor Frodo, as the friesian was always finding some way to get himself hurt… even when he was watching where he was going.

Frodo paused for a moment. His gaze slowly drifted over Merry, Pippin, and Sam.
“Do… you three happen to be busy? I daresay it’d be a nice morning to go out walking, and maybe even head towards a market…” His voice trailed off as he turned to look out a window.
“… But um, of course, that’s only if you wanted to go somewhere. I am just content being able to spend any time with my best friends”, said Frodo, with a lopsided smile.

So poor Severus had to tell his own students yesterday that class was going to be cancelled today, and then spent the rest of his afternoon addressing and sending invitations to over a dozen of his peers, almost all of whom he had never even met (in fact, he had the sneaking suspicion that Minerva just picked the random addresses of people she thought were teachers; how very professional).
The meeting was supposed to begin at 9:30, but it was almost 9:50, and so far, no one had come.
Not only had Severus wasted his time, but he wasn’t even getting paid!
Why hadn’t anyone showed up? Did something go wrong? Could there have been a mishap with the invitations…? With his free hand, Severus pulled a spare invite from his pocket and read it over… -

~5~ … Dear Fellow Educator,
You have been invited by the esteemed Ms. Minerva McGongallop to attend a local teachers’ conference at 9:30 AM sharp, tomorrow Tuesday May 5th, at 758 Dark Oak Drive, where we shall share insights and ideas on how to get young students more involved in their coursework.
Refreshments and charcuterie boards will be provided.
You may bring one guest, no more.
-Expecting your presence,
Severus V. Grape
Professor of Organic, Inorganic, and Analytical Chemistry
Sure, the invitation might have been a little vague about what the guests were supposed to do once they arrived, but surely there was nothing wrong with it.
Severus had given the invitees the right time and date and address, and there really was no excuse for any of them not to show up, especially without giving him an advance notice of their absence.
In a rage, he crumpled the paper in his paw and flung it across the room.
“I’ve never seen a group of such inept and careless animals!” he blurted. “Does anyone care about punctuality these days?”
He shook his head in disbelief.

He is probably off promoting those stupid books of his again. He rolled his eyes. Sadly, not every animal was as considerate of other people’s time as he was.
Severus glanced up at his clock. I will give them until 10:00–not a minute more, he decided. If no one comes by then, I am taking my leave.
A nagging inner thought told him that he was being too merciful by giving them a full ten minutes, but Severus shooed it away. Yes, ten additional minutes was an awfully generous amount of time, but at least then Severus could tell Ms. McGonagallop that he tried. And who knows? Maybe, just maybe, she’d pity him and give him the day off…
A nice, quiet afternoon spent watching the Food Network and cooking homemade risotto sounded perfect to Severus.
For a fleeting moment, his lips almost curled into a smile… but they quickly drooped back down again… -

Knowing his luck, some of his “guests” would probably show up right at the last minute and spoil whatever chance he had at having a decent day.
With a grunt, Severus plopped down on a stool near his fireplace and faced the front door, which he left open so the invitees could walk straight in. In his heart, he secretly hoped that no one would come…

Ron strolled down the sidewalk; both of his hands were tucked comfortably in his jean pockets. His friends, Harry and Hermione, walked behind him, talking amongst themselves.
“I cannot believe that Professor Grape cancelled our chemistry exam today!” he heard Hermione wail. “All that time I spent studying– wasted!”
Harry sighed. “Yeah. It would’ve been nice if he had let us know further in advance.”
Startled, Ron quickly swung his head over his shoulder to look at Hermione. “Are you actually sad that we got today off?”
She frowned. “Well, yes, actually. Do you know how many hours I spent preparing for that thing? How many nights I spent with my nose shoved in a textbook?… -

~8~ … Of course I’m upset!”
Well, you ALWAYS have your nose shoved in a textbook, was what Ron wanted to tell her. (Heck, she was even carrying her History and English textbooks with her!) But instead of saying something so rude, he gave an unsympathetic shrug and muttered: “I don’t even like that class. It’s a bunch of scientific nonsense, if you ask me.”
Harry pushed his glasses further up his snout. “Well, when you read more into it, it does start to make some sense…”
“Easy for you to say!” snorted Ron. “You’re the one with the special book.”
Harry cringed. It was true that his book was unlike Hermione’s or Ron’s. The previous owner– who only identified himself as the “Half-Breed Prince”– had written all sorts of notes and equations on the pages. Notes so useful, that Harry had practically become a chemistry expert. But it was hardly his fault.
“Come on, Ron, it’s not like I knew that this book was different from the others. I only got it because it was the last one on the shelf. And anyway, you were the one… -

“Well, it sure sounded like-”
“-Stop! Both of you!” yelled Hermione, who wedged herself between the two arguing boys. “Now is not the time to fight!”
Harry and Ron backed away and exchanged embarrassed glances with one another.
“Sorry…” mumbled Ron, looking at his feet.
Hermione rolled her eyes. “Thank you! Anyway, I thought we were going to figure out where to spend our afternoon. Personally, I think it would be fun if we went to the library.”
A look of sheer horror made its way onto Ron’s face. “‘Fun’…?” he gasped. “Are you kidding me, Hermione?”
“What? I think it’s a fun place. Don’t you?”
“Not to me, it’s not. That’s the last place on earth I wanna go!”
She sighed. “Oh, fine. Then what do you suggest we do?”

Hermione laughed. “Okay, there is no way an ice cream parlor is open at 10 in the morning.”
“No, it’s true”, insisted Ron. “I’ve heard people talk ’bout it before.
“You can’t trust everything you listen to.”
“But even Fred and George have told me about it!”
“And you can’t trust everything Fred and George say.”
Ron sniffed. “I guess not, but I’d at least like to see. Besides, from what I’ve heard, you get a big discount as long as you order before 10:15. Can’t blame me for wantin’ to see if that’s true, can you?”

“All right… ” she conceded. “I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to check. A vanilla cone does sound good.”

Ron suppressed a shudder. “Well, uh, we don’t need to worry about that…” he stammered. “It’s gonna be open. I know it will.”
In all honesty, he had no idea if it really would be open or not; he just didn’t want to have to go to the library with Hermione, because with her, that was going to be an all-day affair.
Harry glanced down at the watch hidden under the sleeve of his hoodie, and raised his brows in surprise at the time. “Oh! Hey, if you want to get there before 10:15, we should probably hurry. It’s already almost 10.”
It didn’t take long for Ron to figure out what to do next. Without warning, he burst into a run, leaving both of his friends in the dust.
The two looked at each other in shock, before deciding to chase after him.

Bilbo took the whistling kettle off the stovetop and poured its contents into his favorite green mug. He took a sip–and furrowed his brow. Something wasn’t right, but what was it…?
Ah, that’s right! He had forgotten to add the sweetener!
After throwing in a couple of sugar cubes, Bilbo took his cup and ambled over to the kitchen table.
“… There we go! Would anybody else like some tea?” he asked.
Thorin shook his head. “No, thank you. We do not drink tea.”
Bilbo sniffed. “Oh, well, all right.”
He couldn’t understand why his friends didn’t seem to like the beverage (it was the alpaca’s favorite, after all!), but to each his own, he supposed.
After taking a quick sip from his mug (it tasted much better this time, with the sugar), Bilbo pulled up a chair and plopped right down… -

~13~ … Thorin was to his left, sitting at the head, while Fili and Kili sat across from him.
In the short while Bilbo spent making his tea, the brothers had gotten fully dressed. Fili was now wearing a tan shirt with a long, furry beige coat and brown pants; and Kili wore several gray shirts with a thinner (but equally long) smoke-colored leather jacket and black pants.
They claimed that they didn’t have enough time to get dressed before they left, which didn’t quite make sense to Bilbo, considering it took them all of two minutes to do it at his house, but he shrugged it off.
No one ever said that they were normal…
Bilbo’s thoughts were then interrupted by the loud crunch of Thorin eating his bacon. He looked up, and noticed that the two spaniels were now staring jealously at their relation.
Fili had just finished nibbling at his orange (it was the only fruit Bilbo had that wasn’t green or an apple) and Kili had wolfed down his buttered slice of sourdough bread practically the second Bilbo gave it him; but Thorin was clever enough not to… -

~14~ … accept bread or fruit right away like his cousins. Instead, he waited until Fili and Kili were done with their snacks to tell Bilbo that he was hungry, and then he casually asked the alpaca if he had any bacon on hand, which he did.
And, needless to say, the brothers were quite upset that they weren’t the ones who thought of asking Bilbo for it, first.
Kili rapped his fingers on the table and forced a smile at the terrier. “Mind if I have a piece?”
“Yes I’d mind, so go get your own!” growled Thorin, as he pulled the plate close to him. “I will not part with a single slice!”
Kili turned his pleading gaze towards Bilbo. “Mr. Wiggins! Do you have any more bacon?”
“I’m afraid not. I think Thorin got the last of it…” replied Bilbo, who completely ignored the fact that Kili messed up his last name– again.
The spaniel frowned and furrowed his brow. He looked at Thorin.
“Bacon thief…” he muttered under his breath.
Thorin’s ears swiveled forward. A low grumble rose in his throat. “What did you say?” … -
August 12, 2020 at 1:54 pm #2330999
~15~ … “Oh! I just said ‘lettuce leaf’, because I was thinking about how much I really… hate… salad”, lied Kili.
Thorin narrowed his eyes. “Don’t you lie to me, Kili Durin! I know that’s not what you said.”
Kili gave a nervous laugh. “‘Lie’? Since when have I ever lied?”
Fili licked his jaw. “Last week.”
The black spaniel shot an irritated glance at his brother. “Shh! You weren’t supposed to tell him that!”
“Sorry…” mumbled Fili.
Bilbo’s eyes widened. He couldn’t allow his friends to spiral into a big argument, especially not at his antique wooden dining table that he had polished with Frodo just this past weekend! (After all, who knows what kind of damage three angry dogs would inflict upon Bilbo’s fine furniture?)
The alpaca had to do something, and quick…
“-How is everyone doing?” he blurted. “I haven’t heard from any of you for a while. Is the Company all right?”
Thorin leaned back in his chair, a bit taken aback by Bilbo’s random question.
Nonetheless, the terrier enjoyed discussing such matters, and in typical Thorin fashion, he jumped into a long, winding disquisition about what his companions… -
August 12, 2020 at 4:29 pm #2331171
~16~ … had been up to as of late.
He talked on and on about how Bombur had recently won a cheese eating contest, and how Dori had been participating in a lot of talent shows with the hopes of impressing other people with his ventriloquy act, and how Bofur had to get a new hat after his old one accidentally got set on fire after a certain someone thought it would be a good idea to play a game where the squirrel had to see how many candles he could balance on his head at one time.
Fili and Kili had already heard all of this before, and sat bored the whole way through. The spaniels’ ears only perked up when Thorin mentioned how they were thinking of filling out job applications for their local Arby’s restaurant (which was true– Fili and Kili wanted nothing more than to work at their favorite fast-food establishment).
As for himself, well, Thorin began to ramble about how he had recently been metalworking a lot of the treasure he found in Thror’s hoard, making everything from replica armor to little gold figurines of ravens and eagles… -
August 12, 2020 at 4:29 pm #2331185
~17~ … He even showed Bilbo his latest hand-crafted masterpiece: a model sword made entirely out of silver, save for the hilt, which was plated in bronze and encrusted with over two dozen tiny emeralds. It was beautiful, and Thorin was very proud of it. Bilbo himself was thoroughly impressed!
The terrier was right in the middle of describing the specific techniques he used to make that particular sword, when a sudden knock at the door startled everyone.
“Oh! Sorry. I uh– I guess I should go get that”, said Bilbo, as he got out of his chair and started down the hall. Normally, he wouldn’t have answered it and would have just let whomever was at his front mat stand there until they decided that it wasn’t worth waiting any longer. However, he was curious to see if the new guest just so happened to be another member of Thorin’s company stopping by for a surprise visit. Maybe it was Balin? Or Dwalin? Or Bifur?
But alas, Bilbo knew that he had his hopes set too high, and that it was probably just his young relation, Frodo… -
August 12, 2020 at 4:29 pm #2331199
~18~ … Frodo had a most peculiar habit of skipping breakfast so he could go write or read or go outside or do whatever it is that he enjoys doing (what Frodo liked to do, Bilbo had the slightest clue. All he did know was that the friesian was seldom around when he needed him to answer the door!)
But about an hour or two later, he’d come back to his uncle and complain about just how hungry he was.
Bilbo shook his head and laughed to himself.
He might not have fully understood Frodo, but Bilbo knew just how mundane his life would be without him. Frodo was more than just his nephew, the son of Bilbo’s much older half-brother; he was a friend, someone he could trust.
He had already decided that, if he were to ever leave his estate, he would entrust it to Frodo, whom he considered his heir– an honorary son.
And although Bilbo really wanted to talk to Thorin and Kili and Fili alone, he still wouldn’t mind making Frodo a quick breakfast, if that’s what he was seeking.
The alpaca was so caught up in… -
August 12, 2020 at 4:29 pm #2331207
~19~ … his musings, that he didn’t even notice that he was already at the door until a second loud rap-tap-tap snapped him out of his thoughts.
After taking a deep breath and uttering a soft prayer that the visitor wasn’t his obnoxious cousin, Lobelia Alpacaville-Waggins, Bilbo turned the knob… and who else was standing there but Gandalf Grey, himself?
The feline peered down at Bilbo with kind gray-green eyes; both paws neatly folded on top of his walking staff. Bilbo was so shocked, that all he managed to squeak was an excitable: “G-good morning!”
“‘Good morning’?” rasped Gandalf. “I have known you for seven years, and haven’t seen you for nearly nine months, and all I get is a ‘good morning’? Is that some sort of new greeting or catchphrase you’ve come up with?” He twitched his whiskers in amusement. “My, what a lot of things you do use ‘good morning’ for, Mr. Bilbo Waggins!”
The two burst into laughter.
Bilbo went to give Gandalf a big hug, and the old cat got down on one knee to accept the embrace, similar to what a father… -
August 13, 2020 at 10:00 am #2331273
~20~ … would do for his young child.
After a moment, Bilbo tugged himself free, and, still smiling, said: “Come on in! Welcome! Make yourself at home!”
Gandalf took a step forward… and bumped the top of his head on the top of Bilbo’s circular wooden doorframe for the 100th time.
Blasted wooden arch! thought Gandalf, as he took off his pointed gray hat and rubbed his sore forehead.
Alas, Bilbo’s house wasn’t made for ‘kinz as tall as he.
But Gandalf eventually made it inside, though he had to dip his head and hunch his back so he wouldn’t hit himself on the arch again. Or on the ceiling, or on Bilbo’s expensive iron chandelier. Indeed, there was a lot for Gandalf to bump his head on at Bilbo’s house!
“Oh, careful Gandalf!” said the little alpaca, as he led the cat into his front room. “Don’t hurt yourself.”
“Believe me, I’m not trying to!” he puffed.
Suddenly, Bilbo gasped, and before Gandalf could ask him what was wrong, the alpaca scurried down the hall, where all he could hear was a loud and resounding: “Gandalf’s here! Gandalf’s here!!” … -
August 13, 2020 at 10:44 am #2331457
~21~ … Half a moment later, three dogs came bounding from the kitchen. Well, to be more specific, only two of them did the “bounding”– the tallest and oldest canine was far too haughty to participate in such childish behavior.
Instead, he walked in a slow, confident swagger; a stark contrast from his younger cousins, who nearly barreled the poor cat over in their excitement.
“Gandalf!” exclaimed Fili. “Great to see you again, old friend.”
“Come join the throng! There’s plenty of apples in the kitchen. Fili wouldn’t so much as sniff ‘em!” joked Kili.
Fili cleared his throat and quickly tried to change the subject. “How’s the fireworks business goin’? Sold much as of late?”
“Did you bring us any firecrackers?” asked Kili hopefully.
Thorin, meanwhile, dipped his head in a respectful greeting. “Master Gandalf! A pleasant surprise, it is, that all of five of us are together once more.”
He then looked over his shoulder at Fili and Kili, and playfully rolled his eyes at them. “Also, you needn’t mind those two. They are typical Durins.”
“Do not worry, Thorin son of Thrain son of Thror! If I could handle… -
August 13, 2020 at 4:52 pm #2331869
~22~ … a group of fourteen treasure seekers, then I think I can handle a couple of Durins!” purred Gandalf.
Thorin gave a slight grin. He was happy– not necessarily with Gandalf’s joke (funny though it was), but because someone had actually referred to him by his full title for once, which no one ever remembered to do these days.
Gandalf then glanced back down at the twins. “Yes, it is nice to see you both, too, Fili and Kili! The fireworks business is going quite well, thank you for asking. Firecrackers? Kili Durin, I think you are the last spaniel in all of Erebor that I would entrust with a sparkler or anything else of the sort!”
“But I’m the only spaniel in Erebor, besides Fili!” cried Kili.
“Yes, I know. And as it already is, I cannot say that I trust your brother much more than I would trust you.”
Everyone laughed, except for Thorin, who was a bit annoyed at all the attention his younger cousins were now getting.
Gandalf’s grin suddenly faded.
He straightened up, and began to look around frantically, as if he… -
August 14, 2020 at 9:30 am #2331903
~23~ … had lost something.
“Where is Frodo?”
“Er, Frodo…?” echoed Bilbo, as if he had never heard the name before in his life. The alpaca got so caught up in listening to Gandalf and his friends, that, for a brief moment, he had nearly forgotten all about his young relation!
“Yes, Frodo. Frodo Waggins, your half-nephew, son of Drogo Waggins. Where is he at?” inquired Gandalf. “I would very much like to see the young lad! Remember that he is my friend, too.”
Thorin and Fili and Kili exchanged knowing glances with each other, and then looked expectantly at Bilbo.
Bilbo knew that his friends knew where Frodo was, but apparently, they had decided to keep quiet about it, as if to do him a favor (or they felt like Bilbo should be responsible for explaining himself–it was hard to tell).
Either way, he knew he was on his own.
Bilbo nervously smoothed the wool on the back of his neck. “Oh! Well, uh, I-I’m afraid Frodo’s not at home at this time.”
“No? Then where is he?”
“He’s outside. Somewhere…”
Gandalf cocked his head. “Outside? Why is he outside?” … -
August 14, 2020 at 10:36 am #2331939
~24~ … “Because I um, I-I sent him out there earlier…” replied Bilbo (who was reluctant to give too much detail). “Why? Is there something wrong… with that?”
“No. Well, not necessarily. What time?”
Bilbo gave a half-hearted shrug. “I don’t know. M-Maybe an hour ago. Does it really matter?”
“Yes, it does. Now, can you tell me exactly why you sent him outside?”
The alpaca was practically floundering at this point.
Bilbo didn’t know how to answer, and as it is, he was already becoming quite frustrated with Gandalf’s badgering.
A lie formulated in his head– an incredibly lame lie, at that– but it was the best he could think of at the time (for he was afraid that Gandalf would be upset if he knew the truth, that he may not even be able to see Frodo because Bilbo had sent him away so he could talk to Thoin, Fili, and Kili), and it burst out in a flurry of stutters and stammers mixed in with a couple of winding sentences that made little to no sense.
“Well, it’s a, um… it’s–it’s very nice morning, yes… -
August 14, 2020 at 10:36 am #2331953
~25~ … Incredibly nice, to tell the truth. And, I thought he sh-should go enjoy… the uh… the beautiful weather. Because it is beautiful outside, isn’t it, Gandalf? The sun, and the– the grass, and the flowers, and the… butterflies… and… other bugs– not the icky bugs, no, I mean the pleasant ones— and, well, you obviously get the point. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the outdoors!”
Bilbo then clamped his jaw shut; he had just realized how fast and loud he was talking. He did not sound at all confident or articulate! More like a nervous wreck, he thought with a sniffle.
But maybe it would convince Gandalf…
Or not.
The old cat chuckled and shook his head. “You’re a good friend, Bilbo Waggins… but a terrible liar. Anyway, no matter trying to explain yourself. I had already guessed that the reason you sent him away was because you wanted to talk to Thorin and his company without any interruption.” He took a brief pause before continuing. “That is a correct assumption, I presume?”
The embarrassed look on Bilbo’s face said it all… -
August 14, 2020 at 11:51 am #2332041
~26~ … Gandalf stamped his staff on the floor.
“Well then, if Frodo is not here–and assuming you don’t know where he’s at outside– I propose that we go look for him. Think of it as our own little ‘adventure’!”
Bilbo flexed his brow. “Oh? An… an adventure? Well, all right. That’s fine, I suppose. But um, well, I was hoping that we could, uh… maybe talk here for a while, first.”
“Do not worry! We can talk once we get back. The day is still young, Mr. Waggins, and I doubt we will be gone for very long at all.”
Bilbo gave a sigh of resignation. He knew there was no use arguing with Gandalf. “Oh… fine. I guess you win.”
The alpaca hung his head. He couldn’t believe he was going on an “adventure” just to find his nephew (who he knew would be back well before dinner time) at 10 in the morning, when he could instead be sitting at a table with his friends reminiscing about the old days.
Not only that, but Bilbo hadn’t even eaten his third bowl of Cheerios yet! Or taken his vitamins, or his… -
August 14, 2020 at 1:30 pm #2332075
~27~ … allergy medicine. He wasn’t at all ready for such an excursion!
But Bilbo wasn’t the only one who was unhappy; Thorin didn’t seem too enthusiastic about the idea, either.
“If we’re going to go, then we had better do it soon and make haste”, he grumbled. “I want to be back ere supper.”
On the other hand, Fili almost looked a little relieved to be leaving the house (probably because the overwhelming scent of apples coming from Bilbo’s kitchen was starting to become too much for him), and Kili seemed quite excited about the prospect of going someplace.
He wagged his tail. “An adventure? Savage! Perhaps we can get Laurel to come with?”
Thorin whipped his head around to face his cousin. “Absolutely NOT! I wish to return here as soon as possible, and wasting time searching for some raccoon I hardly know will only complicate matters and cause delay.”
“But she doesn’t live that far away!” protested Kili. “Laurel’s only a few streets over from here.”
“What don’t you understand? No means no, Kili Durin! I don’t want to hear another word about it. In fact, if you… -
August 14, 2020 at 1:33 pm #2332189
~28~ … can’t talk about something else, you had better be silent!”
Kili frowned, but he didn’t have the time (or energy) to argue with Thorin; Gandalf was already hobbling towards the door, motioning for his friends to follow him.
“Come, quickly! The sooner we start, the sooner we will finish!”
Gandalf had barely even finished his sentence before Fili rushed ahead of him, opened the door, and and ran outside.
The cat jumped back, looking quite startled. He then shook his head and shambled through the entryway.
Kili gazed down at Bilbo. “Sorry ’bout my brother. He’s not fond of the apples in your kitchen.” He paused and licked his lips. “But please, don’t get rid of them, because I like apples.”
Bilbo raised a brow. “Wait, what…?”
But it was too late, the spaniel had already trotted after Gandalf. And Thorin was right behind him, muttering something about how ridiculous his young cousins were.
Bilbo’s head reeled. He had no idea what just happened. All he did know was that Fili apparently wasn’t a fan of his produce.
How weird.
“Come on, Bilbo! We’re waiting for you!” he heard… -
August 14, 2020 at 4:18 pm #2332245
~29~ … one of the spaniels call from outside.
Bilbo sighed.
Hesitantly, the alpaca trudged across the room, and took one last, longing glance at the interior of his cozy home before he disappeared through the doorway, carefully closing the door behind him….

(Hey, moonie! :) Aw, no, it’s okay– don’t apologize! Like I’ve said before, I know you needed time to develop your characters before you typed up your first response! And I definitely understand what it’s like to have a hard time figuring out how to start a reply… ,XD It can be difficult, sometimes! ‘^^ Hopefully your future replies will be easier, though, now that you’ve had some practice with your characters?
“Okay”? Your response was better than okay– it was excellent! :D It was really fun to read, and I thought you did a great job using your characters, especially Pippin! In my opinion, it was worth the wait to see! ;)
Ahh, I’m really sorry, though, for how long my reply was! XP Honestly, I have no idea how that happened, considering more than half of my response is nothing you have to directly respond to. I guess… -
August 14, 2020 at 4:18 pm #2332249
… I just got carried away… ‘^^ Well, if nothing else, at least you got to see more of my characters “in action.” I’ll definitely try to keep my future replies a lot shorter, though!
Oh, right! I almost forgot about Rosie, oops… ,XD But yeah, you can add her whenever! ;) I like the idea you had about adding her after our other characters head outside :3 I look forward to seeing Rosie, whenever you decide to drop her in!
~ Can’t wait to see your next response! :)
(By the way I meant to say “why hadn’t anyone shown up?” in my fourth comment. I said “showed” instead of “shown” :P
I also misspelled “McGonagallop” in the invitation part, whoops ,XD
I know those aren’t huge mistakes, but I wanted to correct them anyway ’cause they were bothering me XD )) -
August 17, 2020 at 8:53 am #2332575
(Whoops! Didn’t mean to say “and” twice in the phrase “and ran outside” in comment 28 ‘^^ Sorry! I dunno why I don’t find most of these typos until after like, the third or fourth time I read something :P I don’t even know how I made that mistake. Then again, I guess one is bound to make a few errors when typing a roleplay reply that’s well over 5,000 words long ,XD )

~ And, here’s the “discussion thread” for the new roleplay! =] Any questions, comments, or other stuff related to the roleplay or our characters can be posted down below! >^^< ~

April 30, 2020 at 9:34 am #2273561
Heya, Taffy! Thanks a bunch for posting the roleplay thread! :D I think this page should be great! Not much of anything on here, heh =P And it should be relatively easy to get to, as well, which is nice! :) Ohh and right! I almost forgot about giving the roleplay a name, pfft XD Well, definitely let me know if you come with up any ideas, and I’ll try to think of some, as well! We could always do something sort of punny, or maybe like a twist on one of the movie titles? (“The Fellowship of the Kinz”…okay that’s not that great though but you get the point XDD )
Oooh, and thanks for posting some character info for the ones you’ll be using! =] That’ll definitely help me know how to picture them in the roleplay, and it was also just fun to read XD They all sound awesome! ;D Oh my gosh, Severus’s nickname though XDD “The Half-breed Prince”…that’s amazing XD Is he your oldest character? I think he’s even older than my Remus and Sirius, heheh XD (Although I haven’t figured out their exact ages yet…You must be logged in to reply to this topic.-
April 30, 2020 at 9:34 am #2273563
…but they’re probably in their mid 30s or so?) Also, it’s cool that Fili and Kili are twins! ^-^ I was actually going to ask you about that, because I couldn’t remember which one (if any) that you said was older, heheh. But they do seem like they’d be twins to me XD
Anyway, thanks for all the info, and I’ll be sure to let you know if there’s anything else I need/want to know about them! Oh, and it’s totally fine if you decide to add more characters later on! I might end up doing that, too, if I get either of those characters I told you about ;) Also, I’ll probably try to post brief descriptions of the characters I’ll be using soon, as well! I might wait a few days, though, just because I still have to figure out a few things for some of them. I hope that’s okay?
Anyway, thanks again, and I can’t wait to start the roleplay soon! I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun! XDYou must be logged in to reply to this topic.-
April 30, 2020 at 9:51 am #2273897
Hey howdy, moonie! No problem, I’m glad you like where I put it! ^-^ Oh, yeah, haha XD When I saw that there was almost nothing on this page, I was like, “Sweet! This’ll be perfect!” Ah, right! I was trying not to use a page that was too far down the line, otherwise it’d be kinda hard to get to ,XD I don’t really wanna have to type the page number into the link each time I wish to visit this page, heheh :P
Haha, yeah, I almost forgot, too X,D WHAT? No, moonie, that’s a great title that you came up with!! Honestly, it’s a lot better than anything I was thinking of XD (The only name I came up with was “Magical Me”, which really isn’t all that good for a roleplay, especially if I end up not using Gilderoy ,XD ) I think it’s pretty cute and snappy, personally! :3 And fitting, since we’re gonna be using quite a few characters, heheh. If you’re alright with it, I think that’s what we should use! =]
You’re welcome! ^-^ I figured I’d go ahead and describe them for ya… -
April 30, 2020 at 10:03 am #2273927
… in the thread, since it is a bit hard (and awkward) trying to fit all those physical descriptions in when writing a starting reply ,XD Though, for the most part, I do imagine each character of mine to look like how I’ve depicted them in past drawings :) I think I’ve drawn all of them, except for Thorin? But I picture his face to resemble like the Scottish terrier profile on WW, anyway, minus the ginormous eyebrows XDD
Haha, I’m glad you liked the Severus’ punny nickname! XD I actually came up with that last year, but I must’ve forgotten to tell ya, eheh ‘^^ Oh, and yup! He’s currently my oldest Webkinz character =] Before I created these guys, I think my oldest one mighta been my sheepdog, Melvin, but he’s only like 26 or 27 X,D Wait, he is? That’s pretty funny! XD Although, I guess Severus does seem like he’d be older than them, even in the movies? That’s okay! :) I know it takes awhile to settle on the perfect age ,XD But, I do think the mid 30s would be good for both of those guys! =) .. -
April 30, 2020 at 10:11 am #2273945
… And thanks! To be honest, I couldn’t really figure out which one would be older if they weren’t twins ,XD I guessed that Fili would be the younger one and Kili the older, but eh… making them twins just makes it easier, because then I don’t have actually have to decide XDD Oh, by the way, did I tell ya that Fili can play the flute and the fiddle? I got the idea when I was flipping through the book and just thought it was cute XD
I bet he could play some of the instrumental music from the movie soundtracks, heheh
No problem, and okay! If there is anything else you’d like to know, just ask! ;) I know a good bit about these guys, so I could probably answer most questions, even those that relate to their personalities XD
Ah, and thanks! I’m not sure if I will, but just in case ,XDPlus my brother really seems to want me to make that charcoal cat character ,XD Think I told ya about that one last time? Dunno if I’ll do him yet or not, though… -
April 30, 2020 at 10:19 am #2273959
… Ohh, right! Speaking of which, I really hope you can get those guys, sometime! =D Especially the one that you were gonna make a retriever, heheh XD
I bet he’d be SUCH a great cook… plain old lettuce has never tasted so good
Oh, yes, please– it’d be great if you could post some descriptions for them, sometime! :) I’d love to know more about what they look like! ^-^ Ah, no worries about it XD I don’t want you to rush, so definitely take your time! =] To be honest, you don’t even have to post them until it’s time for you to do your first reply. Well, actually, you can post them whenever XD I’m patient!
By the way, speaking of replies, I’m getting closer to being done with my first one! It might be a bit long, though, ’cause I keep finding little things to add to it… ,XD Mainly just interactions between my own characters, haha. Maybe we can discuss the plot more next time we chat?
Can’t wait to start this with ya, buddy! Thanks for the reply! :D (And sorry my response was so long! ‘^^ ) -
May 1, 2020 at 4:40 pm #2275603
Hey, Taffy! Ahh, I know I told you I’d try to reply to this before the weekend, but I don’t think I’m going to be able to, unfortunately… XP I have to get off here in a moment, and comments are about to stop moderating, anyway =/ I’ll definitely be sure to reply to this over the weekend, though!! I hope that’s okay…I apologize for the wait!! ‘^^
-
May 4, 2020 at 9:15 am #2275781
(Alrighty, I’m back to reply now! Sorry again for the wait!)
Heya, pal! Yeah, I think it’ll be perfect! =] Hehe, yeah, there was only like 5 comments on here before we posted, so it really can’t get any better than that! XD Right, right! This definitely makes it more convenient. I mean, I could always have just bookmarked the page, but still, this is easier XD
Heheh, that’s okay! Wait, and really? Well thanks, I’m glad you like it! :D I just randomly came up with it when I was replying to this thread, pfft XD Aw, and it’s okay! (Hey, “Magical Me” is a great idea though! I mean, it’s one of the greatest book titles of all time, so even if it doesn’t fit perfectly, it’s still amazing XDD (On a little side note, I almost forgot that you had a Gilderoy! :o I think it’d be pretty funny if he randomly made an appearance in the roleplay haha XD )) Anyway, but yeah, if you like the Fellowship one, though, we can use it! :) Of course, if you end up thinking of something that you like better, let me know, too! … -
May 4, 2020 at 9:15 am #2275783
… Yeah, thanks for doing that! ^-^ I think it was a good idea to post it beforehand, since, like you said, it can be kinda difficult/awkward trying to fit that stuff into the actual roleplay replies.
“Then Fili, who was 26, had greenish eyes, and was approximately 5 inches shorter than the average height Webkinz his age, said, ‘Hi.’”Ahh and okay, that’s neat! I love all those drawings, by the way! :3 Do you think you’ll ever make one of Thorin, too, to complete the set? ;) That’s cool that you imagine his face to resemble the Scottish terrier avatar, though! I really like the virtual of that pet, heheh. But yeah, it does have giant eyebrows, pffft XDD
Yesss, that nickname is amazing! X’D Oh and that’s okay! Come to think of it, it did sound kinda familiar, so maybe you told me before and I forgot? That wouldn’t be too out of the ordinary for me XD
Nice! Man, I remember when you said your oldest character was like, 19 XD I do think that age fits for Severus though, since, I think that’s around how old the actual character… -
May 4, 2020 at 9:15 am #2275785
..is supposed to be? At least in the books anyway, they all seem quite a bit older in the movies, heheh :P Heheh, yep, he is! XD That’s true though, I suppose he does seem a bit older than them. And thanks! Yeah, it can, sometimes XD I’ll try to decide for sure before I post those descriptions for my characters, though.
You’re welcome! Ah, right, I get it! I’ve done that before, too :P Sometimes it can be hard to imagine one sibling being older than the other, in which case I usually just make them twins XD Although, I think Fili and Kili seem like twins anyway, personally! I probably would’ve guessed that yours were if you hadn’t said XD OOH and can he?? That’s awesome that Fili can play those instruments! =D I dunno why, but that does seem fitting for him, actually! And also very cute XDDI’m assuming that Fili can play those in the book, then, since you said that’s where you got the idea?Ooh that’d be so cool if he could! Some of that music is really good, I think XD… -

… Alrighty, I definitely will! =) It’s really neat that you know so much about them all, by the way! Definitely more than I know about mine ,XD
You’re welcome! Right! ‘Cause you never know, right? ;)Oooh yes, that would be so awesome if you ended up making that Charcoal Cat character!! 8D I love the ideas you told me you had for him XD Do you know yet if you’re going to make him? :)Aw, thanks! I hope so, too! I really want the Retriever, for whatever reason XD I might ask my parents if I can get it soon, actually, because I guess our conversations have inspired me? XDDOh YES, you’d better believe he’s gonna be such a great cook! His lettuce is practically world renowned! He also makes some good bread, but it’s said to make you full pretty fast
Thanks! I’ll definitely be sure to post those, then, so you can get a better idea of what they look like! :) Ah, well thanks for understanding! I still gotta work on them a bit more, but I’ll be sure to get them posted before… -

…I do my first reply!
Ooh, and are ya? Awesome! I can’t wait to read your reply!! =D Oh, and no worries, I don’t mind if it’s long! The more character interactions, the better XD I can’t wait to see your characters “in action”, hehe! ;D When are you thinking of posting it? And sure, that sounds good! We can discuss it more next time we talk :) I’m excited to start it, hehe! ^-^
Have a great day! =] (No worries! Sorry my response is so long, too! XP ) -
May 4, 2020 at 1:09 pm #2276115
Hey hey, buddy! :D Ahh, no worries, pal! ;) I mean I just posted my last response on Thursday XD It hasn’t been that long at all!
Haha, right? I mean, that’s the least amount of comments that can be on a page, so X,D Actually, I was shocked to find that there are quite a few other pages around here that also have barely any comments :o Which, is good to know, just in case I ever need a free page for something… XD
I get it! :) I don’t really use bookmarks (I guess I forget that I can do that? ,XD ), but I’m sure it’s a bit easier just scrolling a couple pages than trying to find the bookmark, yeah?
Yeah, it’s awesome! =] Huh, really? It’s so funny that the idea was like, one of those spur of the moment type things XD (Well, you do have a point there X,D “Magical Me” is definitely my favorite autobiography of all time, and I’ve never even read it :D :D (Ah, it’s okay! Sometimes, I forget that I have him, too ,XD Guess that’s the problem when you… -
May 4, 2020 at 1:19 pm #2276119
… have too many webkinz, heh :P Ohhh dude, that’s a great idea! =D Maybe he could be out on the sidewalk sitting at a table, taking autographs and promoting his latest book? XD
I bet Hermione would totally stop to have her textbooks signed))
Alrighty! :) I kinda doubt I’ll think of anything better, though XD In the meantime, I say we should plan on calling it that, though we can always change it if needed =]
Yeeeeah, that can be a bit difficult ,XDPFFFFT oh my GOSH, the thing you said with Fili made me laugh so hard when I first read it :,D I feel like a reply written that way would be quite hard to follow ,XD “And now Thorin entered through the door. He is approximately 3 inches shorter than the average height scottish terrier his age. By the way, he’s 36. Here is his full family history… [continues like this for 3 paragraphs before finally cutting to the chase]“
Aww, thanks buddy! <3 :D Although, to be honest, I think the ones I drew in my sketchbook are better… ,XD … -
May 4, 2020 at 1:20 pm #2276125
… At least, the ones for Bilbo and Frodo are, anyway. It was hard to get their manes right on the other program :P Maybe I can send those to the SC, sometime? But I’m not sure ,XD
Welp, since you seem so eager, perhaps I can work on Thorin next? =] I could try my hand at him, at least XD Oh, thanks! :) Yeah, the virtual for that pet is pretty cute, I think :3 Oh GOSH, yes, the eyebrows are absolutely huge X,D
Ahh, thank ya! :D Does it? Hmm, maybe I did tell you at some point? I honestly can’t remember… ,XD But, you are right that it does seem familiar! I suppose I probably told you at one of our old Sunday chats, and then both of us must’ve forgotten XDD
Pfft, yeah, believe it or not, 19 used to be old for a character of mine X,D But thankfully, I have seemed to moved past the stage where all of my characters need to be teenagers :D Oh, really? Huh, I didn’t know that! I just always thought that’d be a good age for him… -
May 4, 2020 at 1:20 pm #2276131
… I guess? Wait, they’re older in the movies than in books? What? Do you mean, like, they look older? XD (‘Cause I do suppose the Severus in the movies looks more like he’s 50-something, haha) That’s actually kinda funny XDD And thanks for letting me know! :) Definitely tell me once you’ve decided on ages for Sirius and Remus! Both of which I am quite excited to see, by the way XD
Right? Sometimes, it’s just too difficult to decide o.o Yeah, it does sorta seem like that, though, even in the movies XDOr maybe it’s just cause of the whole ‘rhyming names’ thing, hahaThank ya! :D I felt it was cute, and well, I needed to give Fili something cool to do, otherwise I’d be a lot more focused on using his brother X,D Oh! Well, I know he at least can play the fiddle and the harp in the books? At least, that’s based on what I’ve seen, anyway, and that’s not much ,XD Pretty sure that book-Kili can also play those instruments too, but ehh, I’ll probably just have mine stick to singing, instead XD … -
May 4, 2020 at 1:20 pm #2276191
… Don’t want him to be too much more talented than his brother, haha!
Yeah isn’t it? I really like the soundtrack to Fellowship of the Ring ,XD I dunno the names of which ‘songs’ I like, but if I find out, I can let ya know!
Okie doke! And thank you! :D Aww, don’t worry ’bout it, bud! To be honest, I just think I spent too much of my free time thinking about mine… ,XD If you have any trouble, lemme know, and maybe I can help you out a bit? =]
Right, haha XD Actually, speaking of that cat, I think I’m gonna make him now! :3 I looked through my bag of unadopted webkinz yesterday and finally found him XD I was at first a bit torn between that name and “Rainswept Flower” (a Warrior cats name that I thought would sound great on a female charcoal cat), but eh.. this charcoal cat definitely looks more like a boy. And he also looks old X,D I dunno how to explain it, but he just has a really serious, tired expression, which is great XD … -
May 4, 2020 at 1:21 pm #2276195
…
And I also just liked the idea, of course, hahahSo, yup! I think he’s gonna be a thing ;D Since I already wrote most of my first reply, though, I think I’ll wait to add him till the second or third round. Also, I’ll try to post a description for him soon!
Ohh, are ya? That’d be awesome, if you did! =D Lemme know if they let you get it! I really want this dude to be a character XDD (I think I’d actually be kinda disappointed if you never made him X,D )OH HECK YEAH, he’s the best lettuce and bread chef around X,D Although, I bet I’d still eat at least 4 pieces of that matter how filling they are XDD
Awesome! ^-^ Sounds good to me, bud! Can’t wait to learn more XD Yeah, that’s fine! Like I said earlier, you can take your time ;)
Thanks! I’m excited to see yours, too! :3 Ohhh, I’m glad you asked, because I was actually gonna ask you at our next park chat, hahaha XD I only have a little bit more to type, and then… -
May 4, 2020 at 1:24 pm #2276235
… after I revise it once more (I’ve already revised it a million times but once more shouldn’t hurt X,D ) it should be ready to post! :) If you don’t mind, I’m *thinking* I could maybe post it tomorrow or on Wednesday? Only if that was okay with ya, of course! I guess I’m just excited for you to read it? ,XD
Anyway, I look forward to us roleplaying, and I hope you have a good day, my friend! ^-^ And sorry this was so dreadfully long XP Don’t worry if you can’t reply back for a while! I’ll definitely understand ,XD
(Oh! And in the reply above, I meant to say “4 pieces of that no matter how filling”, not “4 pieces of that matter how filling.” Sorry! ‘^^ ) -

Hey, buddy! :D Sorry for adding more to this here, by the way! DX
I just wanted to tell you that I sent in some sketches of Bilbo and Frodo last night, and they just moderated this morning! Here are the links to ‘em:
https://share.ganzworld.com/fanart?id=68527
https://share.ganzworld.com/fanart?id=68529
Sorry I didn’t color either of them in… ,XD Or inked them, for that matter. I was a bit too lazy to go over it with a pen, plus sometimes I feel like my pencil sketches are actually better than some of my colored and inked pictures? I always seem to make at least one mistake in the pen tracing process, heh heh :P
So anyway, yeah! Hopefully these help you to picture them better in your head! :)
Lemme know if you ever got any questions about them or my other characters ^-^
