The Webkinz Foundation is dedicated to improving the welfare, development, health and safety of children worldwide by supporting charities and agencies focused on children. This year, we supported War Child Canada, donating $210,000 towards the Children’s Trauma Recovery Program in Sri Lanka. This program provides pre-school development, psychosocial support, basic math and reading skills and basic health care for trauma-affected children. Global Reach Children’s Fund – $250,000 When you purchase a Webkinz Cares Lil’ Kinz™ pet at Walgreens, one dollar from each toy sold will be donated to Webkinz Foundation. What does Webkinz Foundation do? Webkinz Foundation supports charities that improve the welfare, development, health and safety of children. One of the charities that Webkinz Foundation has supported is Global Reach Children’s Fund. Global Reach Children’s Fund supports a variety of initiatives, including the establishment of “Faith Village” in Ethiopia. This multi-stage project is dedicated to creating a sustainable solution to poverty and social development in the area through education, vocational training and medical care. Webkinz Foundation has donated $250,000 towards this cause. Your continued support of the Webkinz Cares program makes these donations possible.
